Twinkle & Toast

Taryn of Twinkle & Toast is amazing! Whether you’re using her beautiful calligraphy to add fun (and definitely pretty) to your shindig or if you’re participating in one of her workshops (which I HIGHLY recommend) you can’t go wrong with Twinkle & Toast! Taryn takes on every task with a smile and is willing to try writing on pretty much anything.
For our wedding we used confetti crackers as escort cards and Taryn’s calligraphy took them up a notch! Our guests couldn’t help but swoon over how pretty their names looked in her writing — so much so they a lot of them refused to pop the crackers and tucked them away in their purses as if they were the favors! (can you blame them though?). I still have the one she did for my husband and I proudly displayed on a bookshelf in our home!
I’ve also attended one of her courses and she is an excellent instructor. She’s kind, patient, and very thorough. She takes the time to explain the art of modern calligraphy, share information about what products she uses, and answer any questions you might have. Her workshops are adorable with beautiful flowers, amazing food, and tasty treats! My friend and I were having so much fun practicing the alphabet and asking her questions — before we knew it the 3 hours were up and it was time to go home!
I can’t stress enough how talented and passionate Taryn is about what she does. It not only shows in her work, but with the fact that she’s willing to share that talent by teaching others the art of modern calligraphy. It’s refreshing to meet someone who’s able to put something together that’s so beautiful and then is more than willing to share that talent with others.
So no matter what way you work with Taryn, you’ll be more than happy with the results! :)

It’s 3 weeks before our wedding, I thought I could take on all the miscellaneous tasks remaining, including creating all sorts of beautiful signs. LOL! Who was I kidding? I needed a professional! My perfectionism was no match for this job — I had already attempted a few «Reserved» signs on my own and had to paint and repaint the boards countless times! I think I ended up just throwing them all away!
Enter Taryn — Again, I happened across some GORGEOUS signage on Instrgram and the tag lead me back to Taryn with Twinkle & Toast! (Instrgram is a GREAT tool for finding amazing vendors apparently!) I eventually sent her a frantic email about how I needed some signs and our wedding was about 2 weeks away! Most people would have probably laughed and said good luck finding someone this late in the game. Not Taryn… She set a date to meet with me and we went over EVERYTHING! We talked like we were long lost friends, we shared photos and talked all sorts of wedding fun! She took my mind off of the million other things I still needed to do.
Some may think that silly details in a sign for your wedding are a wasted expense, I however, love these little details — I didn’t dare tell my fiancé the actual cost because he is one of those people that would have found it silly! That, however, changed when he saw just how BEAUTIFUL her creations were! The look on his face when his nieces appeared carrying the sign that said «Uncle Punkin, here comes your bride!» was pure perfection!
That’s just it though, they are OURS! Unique and created just for us holding those special memories from our wedding day! We are currently working on incorporating these signs into our home! The menu sign, a beautiful center piece hanging on our kitchen wall now! It was a blank wall that we never filled and now we have the perfect, one-​of-​a-​kind piece hand drawn just for us!

Taryn’s artwork and calligraphy for my wedding had me smiling from ear to ear. She designed our dinner menus, our fans for our guests (hot summer days!), and individually made each dinner place card for my guests (over 200 guests!) So many impressed guests came up to me to inquire about the artist who put such a lovely mark on our wedding. Love love love Twinkle and Toast. Worth every penny. Follow them on Instagram. When planning my wedding, the small details was one of the most important parts I wanted to incorporate into my day, and finding Taryn from Twinkle and Toast was the cherry on top! I wanted a chalkboard sign for my dinner menu but wasn’t sure exactly the style, so I left it up to Taryn and MY GOODNESS was I impressed! She exceeded every expectation I had and I loved every part of my hand written dinner menu!!! I got so many compliments on it! She is creative with every detail and makes sure every part is perfect! I will definitely use Taryn again for any signage I need!
