My specialty is full body waxing for all genders. I use a hard and soft wax process, which allows for easy removal, whatever the area. When it comes to brazilian waxing, I enjoy taking a more creative, customized approach. For example, I form personalized designs and shapes with colors, temporary tattoos & Vajazzels. I also offer European facials, brow & lash tinting, manicures & pedicures.

History

Established in 2001.

In 1999, while living in Seattle working at Spa Nordstrom, I noticed clients were starting to request more waxing services. And fellows gay & straight were starting to embrace smooth skin, not just the ladies! I also noticed how uncomfortable some clients were about asking to wax their more intimate body parts and oddly, how some aestheticians were hesitant to help.

I saw this trend in waxing & a demand for this service, that really should be a speciality, and thought to myself — «I’ll move back to home to San Diego & open a little waxing studio»

«Gimme some skin» opened in 2001 and a true «Wax Diva» was born. This is a discreet special place where clients can feel safe and receive quality attention by a long time licensed professional. A place where clients don’t have to be afraid asking about discreet areas and where all genders can wax their unwanted hair away. Tamara has been in the beauty business for more than 25 years. She initially received her Cosmetology Certificate at the San Diego City College Cosmetology. Later she expanded her studies at the Euro Institute of Bellevue Washington in advanced naturopathic skincare. She has been specializing in Waxing since 1999
