History
Established in 1932.
A San Diego landmark, since 1932. The Tower was built in the Zig Zag Modern (Art Deco) style by David Ryan in 1932, the same year as the Empire State Building. It has been a restaurant/bar for more than 70 years. The «tower» was removed in 1999, but was rebuilt by the City of San Diego in March 2009.
