About 1 year ago i needed to my flash my iphone 4 and i found S&L on craigslist. Was not looking forward to make the drive coming all the way from Escondido but they were the least inexpensive and they guaranteed there flash for the life of the phone.
Getting there was not a problem, although it is in a bad part of town, the problem was there is very little parking. I normally park across the street, just be careful crossing, people drive like assholes on that street.
I asked them if they could flash my iphone 4 to cricket and they said yes. It did take them about an hour and a half to get it done, which i didn’t like but hey, if that’s how long it takes then that’s how long it takes! I paid them $ 65 for the flash and $ 15 to transfer my number. I left there shop very happy with there service and i never had any issues.
ONE YEAR LATER (a couple days ago), I got myself a new Iphone 5s and decided i was going to give my old 4 to my little brother. This time i needed to update my iphone to IOS7 and then flash and then transfer to cricket so i went back to craigslist, but never found them. Finally after searching for hours on google and Unilocal i found there phone number. This time they charged me $ 30 for the flash, $ 15 for the transfer and $ 0 for the update. And again I left very happy with there service.
P. S. The second time I looked for them on craigslist, i decided to call around and maybe look for someone a little bit closer, i kept running into dealers that either wouldn’t guarantee their work or charged over $ 120 for a flash only. Very happy that i was able to find these guys again!

These guys are awesome and super helpful. They guarantee all their work and have excellent customer service. The only downside is the store itself is in the most ghetto of ghetto spots in SD. I wont go alone.

got my phone flashed here and it worked for a week. employee never advised me of what not to do on a flashed phone. thats not good customer service. well i got an android message to update my phone and I did it. later my phone stopped working i couldnt make any calls at all. i called this shop told him what was going on and said to take it in i left the phone there overnight. he told me the update messed up the flash and that there was no flash available yet so i picked up my phone and went to premier wireless in spring valley near casa de oro the same day and they were able to. fix my phone. So S&L left me very unhappy because i paid $ 40+$ 15=$ 55 i lost out on that money. i will never come to this place again

Enrique is truly a class act. he sells used iphones but guarantees and backs them 100% - (very rare in the world these days) in addition to other services — such a flashing, etc
After purchasing — i had a problem, but when i contacted him 1 week later he said he would promptly take care of it and he did. he paid another company to repair the problem — which he came out of pocket on and after that he probably didnt make 5 cents on the phone but he did it cause that was his word and he really meant it when he said, if there is a problem — i’ll take care of it and that he did.
He kept his word and got everything done very quickly and — i have been back 2 x since and he took care of me the same.
I will ALWAYS go to a business where the people STAND by their word and mean what they say.

i found this places in craiglist i call the store i ask about the galaxy s3 and they get it i went the next day and i bought it and they transfer my boost phone number to this phone it works great nice people i recommend this place

Bought a phone on eBay, did a quick google search about local phone flashers, and came across S&L wireless, there are times when you have a hunch and you end up with a bad feeling, well not in this case. after reading some reviews, I was left with a good feeling about this shop. I ended up calling S&L Wireless about their services, received a professional response, … it’s been a few days now since I got my phone flashed to Boost, and I have to say, thus far I am happy… my 3G speeds were somewhat questionable after leaving S&L wireless, but after some research of my own, it was because of a custom rom that was previously installed by the previous owner of the phone… I simply cleared the cache and slow 3G, NO MORE!!! I’ve been a customer of Boost for 7 years now and to this day I have not had one problem related to phone service… btw, a few things I observed relating to this shop, since there isn’t much online info on this shop, based on the number of customers that visited this store, I would have to say that most of their customers are referred by other customers… well I would like to be one of those customers and recommend this place, the area is not as bad as others say it is, I’ve seen worse: D … also, something else I liked, is their lifetime guarantee on their flash, even if I’m the one responsible…

I dealt with Enrrique there. Needed an HTC Evo 4g flashed to Boost which NOBODY else in town does. I have dealt with other cell flashers in town, and I must say I was shocked at how QUICKLY these guys got my phone flashed over to Boost… Less than an hour! These guys back up their work too! This was the FIRST shop I’d ever seen get a flash done right on the FIRST attempt!
Only bad part is the part of town their shop is in, so grab your kevlar vest and head down to S&L when you need a flash!

I came to this place after having bad customer service at another wireless store where they specialize in «flashing» phones over to Cricket Wireless. I called these guys and explained to them my situation about how I came down from Esco to get my HTC EVO flashed here in SD, and how they basically told me I would have to leave the phone with them overnight and pick it up the next day: see other review here
Anyway, the guy at the store tells me that they’re about to close soon but that if I make it within 15 minutes they’ll wait for me and fully flash my phone. So I consult my GPS, and there I go hauling ass… get there about 10 minutes later. Damn, this place and the surrounding areas are mad ghetto, I’m thinking in my head «this place makes my city (Escondido), look like The Hamptons», I was rather skeptical about even walking in there, but I was like «eff it man, I need my phone to be flashed ASAP» (my original phone stopped working that same morning) and I didn’t wanna be phone less. The guy was like, «do you have your original phone with you?» and I told him how it stopped working that morning so I didn’t bother to bring it, and he tells he’s going to call someone to see if they can help him do some kind of phone number «transfer» (otherwise I would have to wait until the next day) from my old non-​working phone to my HTC EVO 4G he talks to some girl, and says my phone will be ready in 30 minutes. I’m like «aight, dope», in my head I’m going «yeeeea boyy!!!» (for the reason being that the shop I had just left from, said the process would take 1.5 hours and was going to charge me $ 60 OTD, this guy $ 55 OTD).
So I ask em if they take cards, he says no but that I could just go to the 7 – 11 down street, but I instead opt out for going to the Chase Bank that I looked up on my GPS, (only a couple blocks away, wanted to avoid them ATM fees haha), so yeah I get the money, walk over to the Albertsons next to the Chase Bank, go use their restroom, and then go back to the store. I probably only waited 10 minutes after getting there before he told me it was ready, I test it out, looks good, ask him if I can take it back in case it fucks up on me, he says «yeah for sure, bring it back», I say «thanks bro» as I shake his hand and «pound» fists. I get back to my car content, and go back home to Esco.
In review of my review, I recommend this little «hole in the wall» to anyone looking to fully flash their Android phones to Cricket or Boost, they apparently are able to do both, or if you’re just looking to purchase a phone in general. They buy, sell, trade, and even repair phones there! I will be doing business with them again if I ever need another phone flashed or fixed.
P. S. It seems they mainly specialize on Cricket and Boost carriers.
