Sandahl was an absolute delight as a tutor! I cannot praise her knowledge and professionalism enough. As a grad student taking an online statistics class, I knew I had a daunting challenge in front of me for the next 7 weeks. My experience with stats was minimal with little remembered except that I miraculously made it through the class.
My experience with Sandahl was as pleasant and reassuring as could be. Strangely enough at the end of my course I realized that I actually enjoyed statistics. This is the wonderful thing about working with someone who has the special skills to explain the concepts in a simple and understandable language and not just in ‘math speak’. Something else that truly helped me was how accommodating Sandahl was when I had a family emergency come up a week before my final, which sent me to the East Coast. Not only did Sandahl keep in regular contact with me via emails and text messaging to help me work through the assignments, but she even went to the extent of offering to meet on Skype on my schedule to ensure we could still work together — avoiding a disruption in my studies.
If anyone is in need of help with a stats class, do yourself a big favor and hire Sandahl. I ended up with a A in the course, a better understanding and appreciation for the world of statistics. Any apprehension towards stats is mostly gone. Now when I look at polls, charts or anything containing stats in them, I feel confident that I can interpret the information– what a great feeling!
