I called to set up an appointment to see an employment lawyer and the assistant Anne told me to call back Monday for an intake phone screen. I call at the specified time and no answer and left a voicemail. Waited couple of days and called; assistant told me to call again on the following Monday. Same thing happened again. Called again and rescheduled for Thursday again no one picks up. I call once more and ask her to call me when she’s free on Friday. She does not call. Extremely unprofessional, I gave them benefit of doubt a few times and would avoid them.

Mika Spencer is currently helping Ian Rey, who was fired from Spouts Point Loma in May 2013. She stepped in to hep the Rey family deal with the healthy food store.
From what I am hearing from the family, she is doing a terrific job. It takes a special kind of compassionate attorney to delicately handle discrimination cases. Ms. Spencer handled my disability discrimination and failure to accommodate case from 2006 through settlement in 2011. My case was a difficult and complex situation within a California Community College. The CCC system used a team of lawyers and a «stall to death» tactic designed to bleed my resources dry, cost me my job, my health benefits and discredit my professional reputation.
Atty Mika Spencer stuck by me for five plus years and a lot of complex problems. She saw my case through to an excellent resolution, was professional and kept me from losing hope and everything I had worked so hard to accomplish in my career.
