Do not bother… I only gave it one star because it was open early. It’s far too expensive for the quality. The location is gross. Dirty. Run down. In major need of repair. Most of the machines here are broken, and the ones that do run, they don’t run correctly. I have to babysit the machines because they don’t run if I’m not pressing on the door latch. It has two large size machines, but only one works. To top it off, if you have to go to the bathroom while you’re waiting for your laundry to get done, you have to pay to open the door. Ugh. Never again!!!

What a dump and half of the equipment is broken. Half of the driers don’t get hot enough and they charge 25 cents for 5 minutes.

I have to agree with the previous comments! This laundromat is disgusting! The bathroom was so gross I wouldn’t let my daughter use it. I won’t go back there as I felt afraid to touch anything or relax. A very expensive trip for machines that do not work! Ugh!!!

Obviously, one does not go to a laundromat expecting it to be «nice» or «fun» or even«comfortable,» but one does not go to a laundromat expecting it to look like a post-apocalyptic set from The Walking Dead. To call this place«run down» would be an insult to run down places. Floor tiles are missing. Many machines don’t work at all. Obviously, the owners take no pride in owning this place. It is also very expensive for such a dumpy place. However, it is extremely convenient if you live in the neighborhood, and if you want to kill two hours, you can go to JP’s Pub or Champion Fields for a beer and food, or get some donuts or shaved ice, do some grocery shopping, or even take a walk on a nearby wooded trail. This is The Laundry Basket’s only saving grace. I have been coming here for the sake of convenience, but the place is just getting too run-down, and so I’ll start going somewhere else.

ABSOLUTELYDISGUSTING! NOTWELL-MAINTAINED! FILTHYESTABLISHMENT! This is the worst laundromat I have ever stepped foot in. There were no less thank six broken washers and pooling water on the floor in one of the only areas that had working washers. I ended up using the front washers which didn’t spin my clothes out very well at all, but I’m thinking that it is probably the intention of the scum that owns this crap hole because that means I have to dry my things longer. If I would have had time, I would have driven around to find another place to go. I can assure you that I won’t be back. DON’T USETHISLAUNDROMAT! IT’S DISGUSTING!

This place is beyond ridiculous. Twice I’ve brought my comforter here to wash, the second time being the last time. The large machines barely work and good luck getting anyone to answer or call you back if something goes wrong(seriously, I’m still waiting for a call back and that was almost 3 hours ago). Plus its dirty and in seriously need of some updates. Go to the laundromat over on mission village Dr. Wayyyyyy better and cleaner.

What a dump. The whole place is FILTHY. I think the last time it was cleaned was the last time it was decorated. By the look of the décor, I’d say about 30 years. I wanted a shower after just walking into the place. The machines are more expensive than other laundromats I’ve used in the city, so the owner has no excuse for the poor maintenance. Also, there was no attendant on site. I had a problem, so called their phone. Fortunately, someone answered and was able to address the issue over the phone, but, if he hadn’t been able, what was I supposed to do, wait until he drove in? I’ll never visit this establishment again.

I had a bad experience at the laundry. $ 3 washer did not spin out and still had suds in it, so I had to move washers and pay again. Dryers did not work one would not heat up and the other ran about 4 mins for $ 1. The place was not clean. When I called the number the person I talked to didn’t seam to concerned and didn’t offer a refund. I will not use this facility again. They also own Duds in the Suds

I used to come here a lot — before a found a place that cut my laundry cost in half. At the time of this review there is only one other — referring to something that does not seem to still be posted. This place opens early and stays open late, has decent music playing, and parking is usually available in front. There is a pay for use toilet — if you don’t want to use the restroom at Von’s for free. Most of the washers here work — but the dryers don’t dry. They just take your money and leave your clothes wet — forcing you to either keep paying for another 5 minutes(and hope) or take your wet clothes elsewhere.

I am not sure what the other reviewer was upset about, but this laundry mat is one of the best deals around San Diego. The clothes were cleaned and delivered on time. I have been referring The Laundry Basket to all my friends that just don’t have time to do their own laundry, that need pickup and delivery fluff and fold, at an affordable price. I have also gone to other laundry mats to compare prices, and this laundry mat is by far the least expensive. If the above viewer could let us know which other laundry mat is cheaper(and why they hadn’t reviewed any others). I would like to read about it. Thanks Marc for the continued great service from myself and all my friends that I have referred.
