The Joint Chiropractic

I had no issues with my first visit today. Not sure about all the negative reviews. I did not experience the same. Front desk was friendly and the Chiropractor was also very friendly and accommodating. I have a mild scoliosis and go to the Joint for maintenance. I’ve gone to several joints in Colorado (and have experienced some bad adjustments) and here in San Diego, and this office just fine. I went on a Tuesday. Hope this review helps.

I only come here because of Dr. Kamsi. He is the best! I have been his patient since 2013 and follow him to every location he moves to. His adjustments are amazing. I finally found someone whi is strong enough to adjust my husband and myself. Everytime I leave I feel so much better :) i drive a long way just for an adjustment from him and it is ALWAYS worth it!

If I could give zero stars I would. I came to this location last year and had a horrible adjustment. They gave me a free adjustment card. Because the adjustment was so horrible I never wanted to return. Today my back was so bad I decided to use the card. Guess what they wouldnt honor it. Even though it doesn’t have an expiration date. Lizbeth was very rude and wouldnt budge. I would never recommend for anyone to come to the joint especially not the 4S location. I wasted money on a membership and don’t want you to.

Dr. Kamsi is now at this location Tuesday-​Thursday. He’s the best chiropractor I’ve ever been to! I have injuries from a car accident years ago that started improving with regular visits to Dr. Kamsi. I’ll never go to any other chiropractor and am grateful for the overall improvement my health has seen since coming to The Joint.

Dr. Rene is committed to finding the solution to the problem. Never have I seen such amazing results. She is truly the healthcare professional you want on your team.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I have a daughter who is 11 months old. She’s heavy and caused me back pain from when I was pregnant. I’ve been hearing to go to a chiropractor because I have never been. It took a lot to get to the office. I needed a sitter for my baby girl and time off of work. I signed up for a new patient offer for $ 19. I finally was able to get to this location and the snobby receptionist was very unfriendly on the phone and in person. When I arrived I told her I had the offer in my phone and she said I was supposed to print it. I reread the email and it says, «present this email upon arrival» it never says to print it. When I explain that to her she didn’t seem to care and she just smiled and said sorry very rudely. She said here is your paperwork to fill out. I was confused. So I asked will I get the discounted rate and she said no, again very rudely. I left in tears! It took a lot to get to that point and she made me feel awful!!! Never again will I go there or recommend that location. The owners should explain to their employees to be empathetic and nice!!! I left and quickly went to the Carmel mountain ranch location! I am sitting her writing this review from their waiting room. Review of their place to follow.

Unilocal wouldn’t allow me to post my review with 0 stars, which is what I am rating them. 0 stars for 0 service. I am pretty disappointed overall and it was a huge let down. This experience should have been simple and easy but because of a piece of paper that didn’t get printed out, I received no service from them. I was looking forward to finding a local place (literally across the street from where I live) to start getting Chiropractic care. I received the email for their $ 19 introductory promotion. According to the email, I just needed to present my email (it doesn’t state to print the email out). So when I walked in the office, the receptionist informed me that she needed the email printed out so she could submit it with the paperwork. I mentioned that the email doesn’t state that it needed to be printed out prior to arriving, so I asked the receptionist if I could just print my email there. Apparently, that is not allowed. The Joint should rewrite their email clearly stating that the customer must print out the email to submit with paperwork. Because of this email mishap on their end, they lost a customer.

I agree with the other reviews to definitely go when Dr. Renee is there (Tuesday and Thursday). The other chiropractors make you feel rushed and don’t even treat your problem. What a waste of time and money! They actually tell you to come back when she’s there. She should open her own place away from these kooks.

The Good: Dr. Renee is amazing, awesome, and will really work with you to resolve your issues. I am always anxious about coming in, but she works with me and is effective. Even though I am anxious about coming in, I still do it because I know it works for me, and I always feel better afterwards.
The Bad: Dr. Ray was not helpful. I expressed my apprehension beforehand just to give him a heads up since I sometimes yell out. During the visit, he pretty much gave up on me when working on my problem spot (upper back/​neck) and said I was too tense, and I should just come in when Renee is working. I understand if you feel uncomfortable working with a patient, but he rudely excused me from the session because I was too tense. There is definitely a much more tactful way to go about it. Learn some manners and customer service skills. I’ll be back Tuesdays and Thursdays for Renee. I wish she were there more often

It’s next to the RB library in the 4S Ranch shopping center. I’ve only been to this location once– Love that I was able to get in on a holiday weekend, no wait and my chiropractor seemed to be competent and properly addressed my injury.
Since then I’ve been to the Carmel Mt. Ranch location because it’s closer to where I work out at ClassPass studios. However, if I was at this shopping center I’d come back.

I LOVE DR. RENEE! I have to say I was skeptical of being adjusted by a female chiro, but she put me to shame! She is absolutely wonderful! I have not had a migraine since laying on her table. 6+months going to her and I hope she never leaves! She has gone above and beyond for me and my health. I would give more stars if I could! And the price! I’ve had adjustments for $ 64 which were meh, you get way more than what you pay for with her! See you Thursday!

Dr. Renee is by far the GREATEST chiropractor! She is so receptive to my needs & has great solutions for maintaining my progress at home. I have religiously been going to her once a week for at least 6+ months as well as getting massages every two weeks. My massage therapist can’t believe the progress Dr. Renee had made on my neck. She never thought I’d be in such a good place as far as my neck alignment & movement. I love this place & I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Renee! She’s fantastic!

It’s been a year now and I still go almost every week. You have to be prepared to possibly have a different Dr but all have been good. I really like Renee Cauvin, she listens to my needs and she’s totally fine when I have my kids with me — which can sometimes be 3 in tow! Receptionists are still super friendly too.

I really did not expect for this place to be as good as they are. For 19 per visit I thought they would just be pocketing money for no good reason, but for me that I could dearly walk at my first visit and now. Doctor Jeramy thank you I’m so much better. I’m so much thankful for this place is here. I truly recommend this chiropractic office.
Give it at least 4 visits then give them a review, just like I did.

Access is easy but remember you get what you pay for and this isn’t as cost effective as you think. You get a different doctor every time and I just spent 30 min trying to cancel my ‘contract’. Beware. If you want to cancel you have to give 30 days notice and submit on their form. I really wanted the affordable chiropractic care proposition to work but it proved too good to be true.

Dr. Coree is the best, she listens to me and always knows the best adjustment to give me to fix what’s broken. I run a lot and if it wasn’t for the preventative maintenance I get here I believe I’d be injured more often.

Dr. Jurgens treated me for a year regarding a chronic shoulder problem. He dramatically increased my strength and flexibility in the shoulder/​arm area and reduced the pain I was experiencing as well. This treatment allowed me to weight lift with no restrictions.
Dr. Jurgens is a very personable and extremely knowledgeable Chiropractor who sincerely cares about his patients; he’s the best there is. I have referred people to him and will continue to do so.

The staff is really nice and friendly. The chiropractor might be small but she takes care of business. She seems like she sincerely cares about your well being. Great prices. Great hours. Took care of my issues in a matter of minutes. I will definitely return to get adjusted regularly.
