Really Great place to enjoy a slice of cheesecake and cup of coffee. also great for wedding receptions very professional. Our cake arrived at a good time was set up for us as well. Couldn’t of been more happy with the way things turned out. cakes were delicious red velvet. white chocolate raspberry. and lemon. yum… thank you. was a great hit.

After seeing this place featured on the Weekly Unilocal newsletter, I knew I had to come to get some nice, creamy cheesecake for myself! The girl at the counter was very friendly when I came in and quickly gave me some good recommendations as to what cheesecakes were the best. Though I was tempted by everything in the glass case and on the board, I decided to get a slice of white chocolate raspberry cheesecake and a slice of 18 karat cheesecake (which is ½ cheesecake, ½ carrot cake!).
Because I mainly got these as a present for my two friends as a belated birthday treat, I didn’t really get to try both. But I got good feedback from both and tasted a bit of the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake. I could see why people raved about this place: the cheesecake that I did try was tart, creamy, sweet, and just melted in your mouth. The pick of oreo crumble as a base for the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake was a wise choice– as well as being aesthetically pleasing, it was light enough for cheesecake, which tends to be on the heavy side as far as desserts go. What I tasted was pretty promising if it was a good representation of all the cheesecakes and goodies this place had to offer!
Next time I go, I want to try different flavor– like the pumpkin, or maybe even the naughty hula! Additionally, note to self and to others! There is a coupon on their website that offers a free coffee with a slice of cheesecake. What an INCREDIBLE deal! ;D

By far, the best freshly made cheesecake in the San Diego area… this coming from a native New Yorker… If you ever need to bring something special and worthy of your family and friends to an event., please get one you’ll be a hit at the next party.

Easily the best cheesecake shop in Southern California. Very high quality, great taste, authentic, good prices, amazing staff! Using them for our wedding cakes even though they are 1.5 hours away.

Needed something for work colleague’s birthday, and the request was made for cheesecake. After seeing this place in passing for months, I called and placed an order for a junior cheesecake. Since it was last minute, there wasn’t the selection I would’ve hoped for and now know to call three days in advance for future requests, I was pleased that the chocolate fudge brownie was available. I picked it up early the next morning, love that they’re open so early, and we all enjoyed it with our lunch. The cheesecake was absolutely delicious! It had a great flavor and wasn’t overwhelmingly heavy, like I find most cheesecake.
I will definitely be back, as there were requests for more in the near future!

Boy this place was hard to find but I’m glad I found it. I have not had any dessert on my vacation in SD. Most of everything I had was either greasy meat or a very hoppy beer. Seeking to end my trip on a sweet note, I made a two block walk to Incredible Cheesecake Company.
It’s a really small shop but I was quite impressed in the twenty plus varieties of cheesecake being offered. Based on what was in their display case, I got the pumpkin flavored slice and bagged it for me to enjoy it later.
It’s too bad that a similar company is not in the Bay Area as I would love to give them business over mega chain Cheesecake Factory. Hopefully this place will stay open for my next visit as their location seems off the heavy foot traffic paths. And most importantly, I want to try a Red Velvet slice…

This establishment should be called the «NOT SO Incredible Cheesecake Company.» My friend and I shared a plain slice of cheesecake. The cheesecake was cold throughout and frosty in the center. We found two small hairs. Given the many positive Unilocal reviews I would like to think that we were just extremely unlucky. Regardless, I will not be returning.

I’d use the word incredible to describe the cheesecake, but that word’s already taken. You just can’t go wrong at this family run bakery that’s been a part of San Diego for as long as I can remember. Some suggestions: Reese’s peanut butter cheesecake, pumpkin cheesecake, tiramisu cheesecake, Snickers cheesecake, mocha chocolate chip cheesecake, and the mud pie cheesecake. But, my favorite treat at the Incredible Cheesecake Company are the peanut butter bars. They recently raised the price of a peanut butter bar from $ 1.75 to $ 2.25, but it’s worth whatever they charge. Pure heaven. And don’t miss the pumpkin bread during the season. The Incredible Cheesecake Company serves some of San Diego’s finer restaurants and is sometimes available at Whole Foods Hillcrest, by the way. If you’re on a diet, you’re best bet is to drive on by.

Our wedding cakes were from The Incredible Cheesecake Company! We ended up choosing 3 different flavors: Lemon, Strawberry, & Original. All were amazing, and a total hit at our wedding!
We ordered 3 large cakes for our wedding guests (We had like 65 – 70 guests) and then a small one for my husband and I. There was cheesecake left over, so ordering that many cakes for our guest count was more than enough. (But not too much!)
We ordered the cakes a month or so before the wedding, and they were on time and ready right when they said they would be. We also went in for a tasting before we ordered the cakes, and all of the samples were complimentary, which was super sweet!
The only reason this review is ⁴⁄₅ stars is because it seemed like they were charging quite a bit just to frost the cakes. It was so much more that we ended up decided to just buy the cakes as is, and have one of our baker friends frost it herself. In the wedding planning world where everything costs a fortune, it just seemed like an additional «wedding tax» cost.
Despite that additional cost the cakes tasted absolutely incredible, and were a hit at our wedding.

Un local pequeño pero tienen varios cheesecake que vale la pena probar, al preguntar por los diferentes sabores, nos dieron una pequeña muestra de tres diferentes para degustarlos: red velvet, pumpkin y white chocolate raspberry, los tres súper recomendables, muy ricos aun que al final de cuentas fiel a mi gusto por el chocolate pedí el de brownie y sorprendentemente creo que los tres primeros que mencioné tienen un mejor sabor.

I highly recommend the white chocolate raspberry and the Merv Griffin. Both are decadent and silky … every tasty morsel a bite size piece of heaven.
And their coffee is better than Starbucks…

The cheesecakes here are comparable, if not better, than the cheesecake factory’s cheesecakes. They have similar flavors, especially the very popular ones at the cheesecake factory.
We’ve gotten two whole cakes from here for birthdays and what not and both have been oh so creamy and delicious. The first was a red velvet, it was the perfect ratio of cake to cheesecake and it was not overly sweet… I mean, don’t get it wrong… it was still very sweet but you didn’t finish the piece feeling like you just got beat up by sugar cubes. The second was java chocolate chunk. Perfect amount of coffee flavor!
So next cake… white chocolate raspberry… I can already taste the creamy cheese mixed with sweet white chocolate and subtle hints of tart raspberry!

This place has some really good cheesecake flavors! I’ve been hanging out in the Normal Heights neighborhood for 2 years and never noticed this place until I moved here earlier this year. Came into the store on and off and have tried various flavors including: white chocolate raspberry, dulce de leche (my fave!) and key lime.
Not only do they have awesome cheesecake, but they also have red velvet cake (which is another favorite of mine) and carrot cake.
Coffee and malts aren’t as good as their cakes, though, which is disappointing. Personally I just recommend grabbing a slice and heading over to the local coffee shops down the street.
A slice of cheesecake costs around $ 4, but such a little price to pay for something that is so scrumptious. They also sell whole cakes and mini cakes! I know this as I got one for my birthday. :)

Today I stopped by to check out this little local shop. I am in search of a cheesecake for my wedding next year. The lady was very helpful and nice even though I was a walk in. She let us try four different cakes and take a few samples home so I can share it with mom.
When I took the first bite of the original flavor cheesecake, it was soo good it brought tears to my eyes. I’m not exaggerating, my fiancé was looking at me like I was crazy. I love cheesecake and this small bite made me so happy. I would definitely recommend this place and most definitely the original cheesecake.
I am looking forward to next year when I get to share this with all of my guests at my wedding.

Holy ridic dessert… Now this place serves a delicious piece of cheesecake. Here is how good it is: I got the cheesecake early in the morning the day we were driving to Phoenix. It sat in the car all day. I ate half of it nearly 12 hours later (no refrigeration) and it was insanely tasty, THEN refrigerated it, ate the second half the next day and it was even better. No joke. We had the carrot cake cheesecake (after a lot of waffling… now I wish I had gotten two slices) and the cake was moist and light, the cheesecake was also light but full of flavor… I’m gonna need to return to SD soon just for more cheesecake. Check this place out, you won’t regret it.

I have been fortunate to have been here before and taste their amazing cheesecakes, I think I have had them all! I never reviewed, my bad. Today I came in for a slice of the red velvet for a buddy and left with slices of Reese’s and white chocolate raspberry :))
From my past experience the red velvet is awesome! I didn’t get to try the Reese’s but I can only imagine it’s outstanding! I did however save a piece of the WCR for me and it’s spectacular! None of this is cheap as it shouldn’t be, too good, and the gentlemen at the counter today was very nice, money well spent! And my pup Winston is dying for a bite!

Stopped by for a slice of Naughty Hula really quickly on a Saturday afternoon, and while parking was a little inconvenient (street), it wasn’t difficult to find.
The woman working was incredibly friendly, and the cheesecake was great. I don’t know why we’ve been going to Cheesecake Factory for slices that run $ 8+, but this quaint little place will probably be our new go-​to for a quick bite of desserts since the slices will only leave you out about $ 4!
Such a steal for some velvety rich cheesecake :)

One of my coworkers raves about this place, so its been on my radar for quite some time, i decided to finally check it out.
I got the Chunky Monkey, a Chocolate and Banana cheesecake ($ 3.75 per slice) the person behind the counter said it was her favorite. I didn’t think it was anything special, It wasn’t bad, just not anything Incredible or special about it. If i had to compare it to the Cheesecake Factory, I’d say it was half the size and half the price, so its essentially the same price, just better portion control if you’re into counting calories. Maybe i just didn’t order the one that hit my sweet spot but for this outing i think i prefer the Cheesecake Factory.
I also got a free coffee (with purchase of a slice) by printing out a coupon on their website. They don’t have a drip coffee maker, only an expresso machine, she made it on the spot using the expresso machine, so it was fresh and tasty. It wasn’t an Americano because it didn’t have the crema around the rim of the cup, so i don’t know exactly how she made the coffee but it was strong and i liked the flavor. She also gave me cream from the back too, which was nice because there was powdered creamer on the table so i was glad that i wasn’t forced to use that.
Came here during an off hour, there was only 1 person behind the counter so it took awhile for me to get my order in. She was busy making 2 blended coffee drinks which took some time since it was a multi step process (make the shot of expresso, then get ice from the back, and mix in the chocolate powder, ect). She also had to make 2 and theres only one blender, so she had to wash it out and repeat the process again, what a pain, wish there was a better process and an extra blender container. Hopefully theres 2 people behind the counter during peak hours.
If i was in the area and wanted a dessert I’d give it another shot, maybe the Recess Peanut Butter or Fudge Brownie.
