The products here are amazing. The toothpaste is hands down my favorite item that they have, and seriously works better than anything else I’ve ever tried. Thumbs up all around. Not to mention the staff is super knowledgeable and sweet. I had a very positive experience and would highly recommend to anyone wanting better quality personal hygiene products.

First introduced to them through Hillcrest farmers market, the sea sponge got my immediate attention. The friendly employees kept me coming back for their charcoal toothpaste and msm (icy hot) spray. You can pronounce and understand 90% of the ingredients in their products!
My first visit to their store was encouraged by their email offer for a discount off the total purchase. Already having a frequent buyers card this was just the cherry on top! The store is layout offers a clear and comfortable chance to see everything there is to offer. Being able to sample almost everything had me leaving there smelling like a flower shop! I will definitely be back to the store and their stand at the market for myself and share this with my family on the east coast!

Love this place! Nontoxic, natural beauty products can sometimes be difficult to work with, particularly deodorant and sunscreen. The products here feel and smell incredible, I’m so happy I found this shop! I love the cleanser and spf 15 moisturizer, I see quite an improvement in my skin.

I am a customer for life! I love every product I purchased and I have seen results in just about 3 weeks! I bought the mint & lavender toothpaste, men’s deodorant (I liked the smell more than the women’s), rose and hibiscus toner, olive & marula oil cleanser, gentle face cleanser, and the precious flower oil. They are all amazing products and I feel so good about using all natural products on my skin. I will be back to purchase again and try some new ones! My skin has never looked or felt better :) and the deodorant is the best all natural deodorant I’ve ever used!

All vegan (expect for the beeswax in some products), all natural and all made in shop.
Lots of scents and goop for your tanned and trimmed bods, even goop to ease those tense muscles.
Very friendly staff. And lots of stuff to sniff and slather.

HSC offers amazing variety of things natural, vegan, cruelty free and so much more … They have all things I’ve been wanting to try and fall in love with that the big names just can’t compete with! (Also supporting a local business is way more pleasing!)
They offer lovely & non greasy lotions for the body and face, toothpaste, sunscreen and gentle face care items — even things for the newest additions.
I purchased the lavender body spritz that makes me feel brand new every time I wear some. It is so natural and lite I just can’t wait to get the mint one and add it to my growing collection. I have gifted and purchased the lotions and they are LOVELY. definitely make a trip here.

Love love love their deodorant, hair conditioning balm, bath salts and face wash! Their branding is the bomb.

5 Stars for their products. I’ve loved everything I’ve bought from Holistic Science! I bought a candle from them in September and burned it for hours almost everyday and I still have it. While spending $ 15 on a candle initially sounds crazy, these things last a zillion times longer than conventional (and toxic) candles! I got some as gifts for family too.
I also use the deodorant for women and it’s the best working natural deodorant I’ve used (Lavanilla comes second). While it doesn’t keep me smelling like a fresh spring daisy by the end of a long day or tough workout, it overall works great and satisfies me. And I love the scent!
I’ve also tried the hair Rx leave in conditioner. I bought it because I thought it was a hair mask but then later realized it’s more of a post-​shower leave-​in conditioner. No problem though because I love it and it has replaced my chemical-​laden It’s a 10 Leave In Conditioner that I’ve been using for years. I love that I can slather it on and it never makes my hair too greasy or heavy.
And of course the lovely ladies who work there are always so sweet and never try to oversell or push you into buying. I’ve never once felt uncomfortable shopping there (unlike Lush where I’ve had to literally firmly tell them to please let me browse).
I work at Happy-​U Namaste right down the street and Dani, one of the employees, attends classes there regularly. On the day I ran out of my deodorant and the store was closed, Dani was so sweet and went to unlock the doors for me to let me buy a deodorant so I wouldn’t smell like butt until the next day, even though they weren’t open.
The one reason I was hesitant to subtract a star was for their hours. I have no idea why but it seems like every time I go there they’re closed! One time it took me 3 different tries to get there to buy something while they were open. It’s understandable since it’s a small business, but it can be frustrating.
Please support HSC! I love that they are a small business run by amazing women and they deserve all the love!

I am a huge fan of their products. I started with their 10-​in-​1 Multibalm when I needed a strong hand cream to help soften the callous on my hands caused from weight lifting. That balm turned out to be amazing, I now use it on my feet, when I have a burn. My boyfriend uses it as a beard conditioner and he recently took it on a trip around Australia where he used it for everything from bug-​bites to sealing his beard for scuba diving. It is seriously a miracle product.
I warn you once you use one product you kind of get hooked, today most of my toiletries are from The Holistic Science, including my face wash, toner, toothpaste and mouthwash, and even breath cream. Try a sample of anything they are all amazing products!

My husband and I live around the corner and were drawn in initially by the clean, bright atmosphere. The friendly gals that work there added to the experience… then we tried their products. WOW. My skin is sensitive, and does not like very many products. But these natural, homemade and fragrant products have changed the quality of my skin, and if love using them! Brighter, clearer, and smells wonderful! The sage and rosemary toner is fabulous, we both use the deodorant, and the mask works brilliantly. The two of us are not necessarily sticklers for organic products, we bargain shop and keep an eye out for healthy items, but after using these products, I’ve no desire to try anything else!

I am a licensed massage therapist, and have used tons of pain relieving creams and topicals in my practice. This place nailed the formula. Their muscle spray with arnica works like a dream and their muscle rub is the perfect balance of warm tingly goodness. I use it on almost all of my clients as well as myself. Their muscle spray helped one of my clients get over leg cramps that would cause her whole leg to cease up. The smell, the texture, the therapeutic benefits are all amazing. I bought every baby gift they have in the store for my cousins baby shower and not only was she thrilled, but all the other women at the party were impressed. The store is adorable, the packing is delightful and the products and pricing is right on. I’m purchasing all of my Christmas gifts from here this year.

I am absolutely OBSESSED with these products. Every item I used to purchase has now been replaced with Holistic Science Co. products. From my face wash, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, tooth paste and moisturizers. The list goes on and on. I started eating more raw and organic foods around a year ago and thought «I’m eating healthy but putting chemicals on my face, hair and body.» This company is my solution. They are so accommodating and friendly every time I purchase products or just stop in to say hello. I am so happy to not only support a local small business but to see how much they have grown over the past year! They also have an amazing return policy, if a product doesn’t work for you bring it back and they will find something that does. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the products and service. I’ve also starting using their purfumes and when someone asks me what my scent is I can say «Sweet Honey Butterfly Kisses» Thank you so much for all your amazing products you have a customer and friend for life!

I purchased a Living Social deal for this place and am so glad I did. The woman who helped me was super nice and friendly. She took the time to explain the products and wasn’t pushy at all. I purchased their deodorant, muscle spray, perfume, and body scrub. I love everything I purchased that I went back today to grab a few more things before the holidays. Their natural deodorant is the best I have used in a long time. Also, love the muscle spray after those tough workouts. The almond body scrub smells so delicious. They also sell these cute candles with affirmations that are soy based and have wood wicks to give that crackly effect. Definitely a cute storefront and worth checking out. I was told they also sell at some farmer’s markets. Would come back again and again.

Bought their goods at the Hillcrest Farmer’s Market. I bought 2 things:
DEODORANT — I typically only wear deodorant in the summer (yes, really) because I refuse to use antiperspirant. The only non-​aluminum deodorant that I’ve ever had success with is Old Spice, but I hate the scent. So I bought one from Holistic Science which smells heavenly and works pretty well. I’m a tiny bit smelly at the end of the day, but overall its great and I will definitely stick with it.
BABY GOOP — Bought this for my 2 year who has eczema, then promptly stole it from from her because I love the creaminess and the light lavender/​lemon scent. It’s sooooo nice. If it wasn’t $ 18 a jar I would embalm myself with it every day.

I found these wonderful ladies at the Little Italy Farmers Market and have made two more trips back specifically to buy more products and gifts. I love the spray-​in conditioner and the body butter is fabulous.
I feel like we all consume and apply way too many chemicals and having a line of products that are fabulous AND safe for us makes me very happy. The prices are reasonable and I haven’t found anything I didn’t like. I even have my sister-​in-​law hooked on the line… and she lives in MN!

I LOVE the Solar D-​Fense SPF 25. It was the only sunblock I used all week in the blazing hot desert at Burning Man this year. My skin felt incredibly soft all week long because of the natural ingredients I was nourishing my skin with. I was blown away by how well this protected my skin. I never burned the entire week even though all areas of my body were sun exposed every day. Also, I love the consistency of this product as it is easy to smooth onto my skin and absorb into my skin. Thank you so deeply and profoundly for creating this super feel good product that protects all the skin on all parts of my body and face. I want everyone to try this product! In profound gratitude.
