Born in 1961 as a 4th Generation Native San Diegan, graduated Point Loma High School, class of 1979. Holds a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from Washington State University 1986. 3 years (1986 – 1989) Personal Lines Underwriter with Travelers Insurance Group, Walnut Creek, CA. (1989 – 1995) Personal Lines Agent w/The Hartley Company. 1995 Purchased The Hartley Company Agency from his father, Donald J. Hartley. In September of 1995 Purchased Allen & Flood Agency then merged both agencies and has been the sole proprietor since 1995.
