The women are so sweet! And they do a fast job. I usually feel bad when I tear-​up like a baby during threading, but the woman I had made me feel very comfortable! My eyebrows look so clean now. Definitely coming back here next time! :)

Wanted to get threaded and looked up the reviews on this little gem in PQ. PQ is finally getting some cool places. Got my face and brows threaded and they did an excellent job. 4 chairs but only two people working. I didn’t have to wait my first time but my second time there was only one lady working so I had to wait for her to do two people in front of me. Think an appointment is probably a good idea.

I’ve been a regular since august 2015 and always look forward to Mojgan doing my eyebrows because she always keeps their initial shape while making sure to clean up around the brow. I’ve never left unsatisfied and it only takes 10 minutes tops. Good price for excellent service.

So I’ve been here a total of maybe four times. Each time I come, the more I don’t want to come back but it’s just so convenient and close to my house. Today though, was the last straw. I’m never coming back!
For one, their customer service lacks. They are not really friendly when you walk in and they stare at you as you sign in. Hello to you too?
Each time I’ve come, it’s a different brow person every single time. Today, I had a long haired lady and she was terrible! I already have short scarce brows and all I wanted was a clean up. She cleaned them up, gave me some bald spots AND at the end, she starting trimming the ends of my brows off! Now I barely have tails and it looks like I barely have an arch! What in the world makes you think that looks good?!
I started at Beauty by Dolly and gravitated here due to location but I much rather drive a little further for quality work. Plus their customer service at Dolly is amazing! Do your brows a favor and go elsewhere but here.

I was a little concerned with trying this shop out because I usually go to another shop but I really needed a clean up. The girls were the sweetest and extremely professional. I was pleasantly surprised that they did such a good job on my eyebrows. I’ll will definitely be coming back!

I am so glad that I checked out this place. I have known Mojgan for many years and her work is amazing. She is fast and efficient and her skills in eyebrows is superb. I recommend this place 100% and you won’t be disappointed. If you are new to threading, do let them know. But it’s the best thing you can do for your skin/​face.

The Beauty Bra Bar is by far one of the best threading places in town. You feel like family when you go there and Mojgan and the rest of the staff take care of you and your eyebrows like their own:)) I highly recommend them and continue going there myself. I came in with what looked like two wholly worm eyebrows and left with sleek, shaped, and still full eyebrows. I have seen some negative reviews, and I recommend explaining what you want done (keep eyebrows thick, make them this shape etc) and you will get exactly what you asked for. I will be going back!

Started Okay but my recent experience with Beauty Bro was HORRIBLE !!! I still went since it’s near my house but can you imagine 3 different ladies tried to do my eyebrows!
I went in and asked about Pari since there were so many good reviews about her but found out she was not available or something like that.
So this nice girl greeted me well and started doing my eyebrows I told her my skin is a bit sensitive I just want extras out and keep my brows thick. after 15 – 20 mins I was still not done with my left eyebrow and she seemed completely lost doing it so out of curiosity when I looked into the mirror I already had a CUT!
I apologized and asked the other lady observing us right in front if she could do better job, she (2^nd lady) started omg!!! She was so brutal, her ring was poking in my nose while she was doing my upper lips and despite of me telling her to stop she kept doing it and I ended up with ANOTHER CUT on my right eyebrow too I told her see you gave me cut too !!! She goes like sorry! Well and on the top of it when I told her about so many ingrown hair she didn’t take out she offered me a tweezer and started pulling the ingrowns, here enters the 3 lady of the salon who seemed an expert with short hair saying «oh no nooooo Nooo you don’t pull them with tweezer no way» let me fix them so she pulled those ingrown’s out and did final touches!
Horrible experience I felt like crying going home with so many cuts on my eyebrows and upper lips so unprofessional.

Painful experience! Despite mentioning at the beginning that I have sensitive and loose skin which easily gets cut, they somehow have a very sharp thread which hurts. First time I got cut on my lips and second time the lady tried pulling my nose hairs and it hurt real bad. Seriously if I would want to get my nose hair removed I would let you know, when this upper lips threading extends clearing your nose hairs. On top of it, the lady doing it smirked. Not going back here!

Ive been looking for an eyebrow threading place since i moved to san diego recently and i’ve finally found my go to spot! Conveniently located and great service, they did a great job with my brows. Very attentive to detail and really friendly :)

My usual place is Beauty By Dolly but there can be a wait. I wanted to try something nearby and didn’t have the time to drive 15 mins and wait another 15 for a brow threading that will take only 10.
I walk in and immediately was greeted. No wait. Pari threaded my brows after listening to what I was wanting to achieve. Just wanted to clean up as I’m trying to grow my brows.
It was painless and quick. I don’t know if they are my go to place yet after one visit but I’ll definitely go back. I would love to have a brow place only mins away!

Started out great, not so happy with them anymore. They say they open at 9am, and I understand that that’s early, but I needed my eyebrows done before going to work and they were a half hour late. Unprofessional. Then when I sat down in the chair, both of my eyebrows turned out completely different. For some reason the left eye brow was flat across the top, and the right had a normal arch. I was unhappy but didn’t write them off, since it was someone other than the usual Pari or Mojgan.
Last time I was there I had Mojgan do my eyebrows. She’s wonderful, but I’m very picky about the way my eyebrows look. All I wanted was for her to clean them up, and I told her to leave them thick. Instead she decided to thin them down, without asking me. She told me that I had a small face, so thick eyebrows don’t work on my face. She also said she would make them even thinner next time. Sorry, but you don’t get to make those decisions without consulting me. Definitely will not be returning, and I’ll be telling my friends I was wrong to recommend this place.

A word of advice, if you’re new to threading, please let the ladies know how you want your eyebrows to look. This low rate review is partly my fault because I didn’t address what I wanted, but as a brow shop, I thought they were the experts!
I’m upset because I grew out my eyebrows to have a more fuller and natural look. I felt comfort in coming into the shop seeing Pari’s eyebrows – beautiful, full, and natural-​looking, and excited that she would be the one to do mine. I was appalled that, though the work was cleanly done… She thinned out my eyebrows so much more than I imagined. I feel that my eyebrows had a natural arch and natural look. When I came in, to me it was more for a «clean» up session and was hoping to get results like the pictures that you see here posted in Unilocal.But to my dismay, my eyebrows feel completely newly shaped, thin, and… Well I’m just glad there’s makeup to re-​fill the missing areas.
1 star for cleanliness of the place, and the «clean» eyebrow threading that was done. But minus 3 for not asking me what I wanted, and just completely changing the look of my natural brows. I can’t wait until they grow back.

I have only gotten my eyebrows threaded at Beauty By Dolly but decided that change does not hurt. I am so glad that I made that decision and came here! I got my eyebrows and upper lip threaded and was really surprised when I looked into the mirror. Mojgan’s scupting was perfect and it looked like zero hairs were missed. I will definitely come again. I would also recommend this place to anyone.

I have been so embarrassed about my eyebrows for the past couple of months, but I really wanted to find a great threading place instead of going to my usual spot in UTC. I got really lucky when my mom told me about The Beauty Brow Bar. Although they close on Sundays at 4pm, I was able to walk in around 2:30pm and leave by 3pm. I was initially going to do a full face threading, but several people walked in after me, so I let Patti know that I could do my eyebrows and lip only.
Patti is amazing! Not only is she really talented, but she is super nice. She asked me about my wedding and gave me some tips on booking my next appointment and facial. I’ll probably stick with my current esthetician, but I am definitely coming back to get my eyebrows done here for the wedding.
The salon is super clean and like all other threading salons, you just have to sign in at the counter. My eyebrows were shaped perfectly, even after I asked for a little bit thinner. They’ve been getting pretty thick because my old place never reshaped my eyebrows, despite me asking them several times.
Next time I go, I will be making an appointment for full face threading with Patti. This is the place to be for threading in SD!

The lady who did my brows and my mom’s brows was nice (I didn’t catch her name). I think she’s the only person here who does the threading, so there might be a wait.
The actual threading didn’t hurt as bad as I remember threading hurting. Maybe my tolerance has increased? More likely though, it’s that the lady has a light touch.
I will be coming back because the price is perfect for getting brows threaded and the location is just so conveniently close. Oh, and my brows turned out great, most importantly.

Cool and clean salon in PQ. My girlfriend got me hooked on getting my brows threaded, and we’ve typically been doing it in Mira Mesa. The ladies here are awesome, friendly, and did a really good job on my brows. This is definitely my new go to place for brow threading!

I experienced my first facial — and I admit; some moments felt good and some just felt meh. You basically make a appointment (they did get back to me in the morning of July 4^th) and upon arriving let them know you made a appointment for which time. I was told to undress after being led to a room somewhat down the hall. I did and climbed into the futon (kind of reminded me of the doctors office).
Afterwards, Pari (same kind lady who did my eyebrows) did the facial on me. There was a lot of wiping, lotion putting on, cleansing, etc. occasionally some massages under my neck and above my chest. The only painful process was the popping of the pimples. And just FYI I had gotten a lot after coming to California in Feb. They covered my entire forehead and nose are. It hurt quite a bit as it felt as though someone was digging into my skin. But after she was done, and she did a cooling process. Also slipped in a pumpkin spread for a small charge (less than it usually was). Held some warm stones occasionally.
And this whole process took about a hour. Approximately. Afterwards I checked the mirror and was a bit horrified to discover some quite obvious red marks — kind of looked like chicken pox. But they had told me on my way out it was because I needed to do the process consistently.
My first facial was interesting indeed, but I don’t suggest you do it if you have a wedding in a few days — I ended up using a lot of concealer to cover up.
Bright side is that I finally got to get the powder for the eyes — approx. $ 12 from their brow bar and the facial was $ 68. I believe I would come back for their brow threading but not their facials mostly because I discovered i am not too much of a facial fan. As for website — they do not have one and usually see how they are doing by Unilocal

Located next to Yen Chin Garden/Rita’s across from Starbucks in the Von’s/Rite Aid shopping center off Black Mt. Road/​Twin Trails in PQ, I was super happy to hear this place opened as Grace Threading in Mira Mesa is a bit out of the way for me (been going there for some time now). I learned about BBB initially thru a coupon mailer and jumped on Unilocal to see the reviews. High ratings… cool, time to try ‘em out.
FYI: for new clients you can either use the coupon or the Unilocal discount ($ 8 for eyebrow threading, normally $ 10). Bummer, you can’t combine dealios, so I ended up using the coupie cuz I got the eyebrow $ 10 + free upper lip threading (normally $ 5) so that was a better deal.
I was excited when I walked in & saw Mojgan– she was one of my favorite gals at Grace Threading, and come to learn she owns BBB now w/​her friend Pari. Super cool. Welcome to the neighborhood, ladies!
Salon is very clean, no wait and they also offer facials, waxing (I think eyebrow waxing is $ 15 if I’m not mistaken), etc.
This will be my new go to place.
TIP: Ask for their frequent customer program. They’re ordering cards but she just gave me a business card & marked it.
Also, FYI for purchases less than $ 15 they charge a .50 cent credit card fee, but they were very sweet to waive it because I didn’t have cash. This is only an issue my first time since my normal charge will be above $ 15 (but I’m not a fan of when places charge credit card fees, I gotta get my points! lol ;)
