Wow! I can’t believe that I have never been around to try a pip’n hot fresh maple bar. Pure ridiculousness! Melted in my mouth and the amount of maple was just perfect for the oozing-ly warm donut. I would have included a picture but I devoured it rather quickly on the 3 minute drive home. But if you have a chance, ask for what’s fresh and go from there. They are all fresh really, but the ones immediately out of the fryer… golden! Can’t go wrong with always grabbing a dozen donut holes either.

Fun place to grab donuts and coffee on a school day. They closed our street at 7 am for a week to repair our roads. We didn’t several mornings here before school as a family. Very popular and busy store! I love my usual, chocolate with glaze. kuds love the donut holes too!

Very good donuts! My favorite ones are the glazed donuts and the twisted glazed donuts! Better than most and they are a family run donut shop which is very cool. Super nice as well.

Delicious donuts at this place. Family run and just a nice old fashioned feel. Nice family too! Close by and good quality. Will try to accommodate you however possible. My favorite is the chocolate cake with chocolate icing and long rainbow sprinkles and a drink of milk. Really hits the spot! But on the weekends they sell out of a lot so come early!

Every occasion at my work people give me money to bring in PQ donuts! They love the place and so do I! Very quick and efficient and nice staff. Can’t say I haven’t tried a donut that I didn’t like

Better than Dunkin’! I love this spot. CASHONLY Their sugar raised twists and rings are awesome. They’ll do special orders too. Everyone is so nice. Get there early before the good ones are gone!

Ok… I probably shouldn’t stop by this place as often as I do, but these donuts are soooo good, you need to try them and become a PQ Fan! My go-to donuts are Cinnamon Rolls(we call them Snails), Pink Glazed Cake Donuts(we call them Princess), and of course, Glazed Donut Holes(have to keep the grand dog happy, too!). All of their donuts are so fresh and yummy, that my mouth is watering just thinking about them! Hint: Be sure to bring cash, as they don’t accept credit cards. There is an ATM in the area, just in case you forget.

Place is great. Local treasure. Donut holes have been favorites for years. Kids grew up on their donuts. Don’t tell tourists. Keep it a pq gem and shop regularly. It’s a donut shop that sells donuts. No need for it to be open any later hours than it already is. If you need your pastry fix later in day go over to the«$ 4 cup of coffee barn’ next door

I don’t usually have much of a sweet tooth, but these donuts are amazing. It’s a little place so the selection isn’t enormous but they do have more than enough to choose from. Really cheap, too. The only downside is they’re cash only(hence 4 stars, not 5), but as long as you have a couple singles on you you’re fine.

I had a chocolate twist and it was probably the best I’ve ever had. The donut was perfect inside and out and the chocolate on top was rich and thick. Cash only, but that is common for these kinds of shops.

I have probably bought doughnuts here about 5 times but have never found their doughnut to be great. I just went there when I was nearby, but that won’t happen anymore. Today, there was a very rude lady working there.(Asian, very short) She was texting for a while, and then when she finally decided to help me she had an attitude. Being rude to people(especially your customer) doesn’t help making your unhappy life better.

This will forever be my favorite donut shop. Great donuts. Great prices. Love that it is family owned!

Nice staff and cheap prices. Definitely a small place so there’s not going to be the same selection as a typical chain store. But I would still recommend it! Donuts are delicious and the coffee is also rather good. It’s hard to notice if you don’t know the area. Look for Cotijas and it’s a small door to the side by Cotijas’ drive through.

Adorable little family-run shop. The owner(the Dad I think) is just the sweetest-he is always there and always in a good mood(to add to the cuteness overload he wears the little white donut hat all the time…*tears up*). There is a pretty decent selection and they are always fresh. I like that none of the donuts I have ever had have been greasy either. Know what you want though-it is a small space and when it gets busy there isn’t a whole lot of room to move around or any type of order to the line other than hearing NEXT! and someone walking up to the counter.

Been going here for as long as I can remember. The doughnuts have the best dough to sweetness ratio and are so so fresh. PQ Donuts truly embodies PQ and has some of the best donuts I have ever had. It’s a wonderful place to stop by on the go or just to grab some great, quick breakfast. Will always be coming back. Again and again. I will always recommend the glazed twists and the donut holes. :)

Solid donut shop in PQ. It’s a cash only spot so keep that in mind but there is a Chase and BofA in the same shopping center. If you stop by on Sat or Sunday try to get there before 9:30−10am for a better selection. I wish they offered a couple cream filling options but overall they are quality donuts and a nice family run business.

First visit at 9:30 on a Tuesday morning. Donut case almost empty. This is a donut shop, isn’t it? But almost no donuts??? WTF! The lady behind the counter made me wait while she texted on her cell phone-that’s good customer service. Maybe I need to come at 6 am!!! Not gonna happen, PQD. The only real donut shop in San Diego seems to be the Krispy Kreme over on Clairemont Mesa in the Town Square. Their cases are always full, the coffee is fresh & hot and the people aren’t texting-they’re taking care of customers. The Von’s across the parking lot has at least as good a selection at about the same price.

Great little donut shop. They make good raspberry filled donuts and have a lot of them ready in the morning. A dozen donuts is $ 8.50. Money well spent to keep your coworkers happy on the weekend. Thanks PQ Donuts!
