I’m a 36 year-​old male who has been lucky enough to be mostly healthy throughout my life. I eat healthy, exercise frequently (yoga!) and get plenty of exercise chasing around my two 5 year-​old girls.
Up until last year I had never had a colonic and did not yet consider them necessary. But about 6 months before I started going to see Lisa, I developed what I surmised were prostate problems. I felt the need to urinate frequently, and it was painful when I did. I tried my best to be a good sport about it, but it definitely started to affect my quality of life. Long car drives became excruciating, and I felt like I had to plan my day around it. I was grumpier and less fun to be around.
I told my girlfriend about it, and she suggested that I try a colon cleansing procedure, because the colon is located very close to the prostate.
Well, I love my girlfriend for many reasons, but now I have yet another. I remembered that there was a colon hydrotherapy place downstairs from my office (I own a test-​prep and tutoring business upstairs). I called Lisa, we set up some appointments, and they worked better than I could have ever hoped.
Lisa is experienced, professional and personable. Although getting a colonic was not exactly on my bucket list, I knew that I would probably have to get one eventually, and now I’m so glad that I did. I feel 100 percent better and will not hesitate to return to her office if my symptoms return.
Lisa also recommended a specific brand of probiotics that has been working great for me and has improved my digestion overall.
I’m writing this review in the hopes that some of the men out there who are reading this will relate to my story, despite any potential embarrassment that this health issue may cause. We are all human and our bodies are nothing to to be ashamed of.
So glad I didn’t spend all my money on an expensive urologist who would have just prescribed me an antibiotic or some other bs. Thanks Lisa for giving me my life back.

I’ve been to the Awareness Center on more than one occasion and I’ll be back as needed. Atsushi is very knowledgeable and friendly, explaining the acupuncture as he administers it. Easy to find, easy to deal with, and very affordable, they’re good people.

The story gets worse ! They stole $ 200 from me, not the $ 130 dollars that they told me. Check your credit cards to make sure that you did not get overcharged. I can’t believe this ! My bank has it in dispute. Lisa has called me twice and sent me a professional text. I JUST WANT MY MONEY REFUNDED DUE TO SERVICES NOT PROVIDED.

I received Colon Hydrotherapy from Lisa. She was experienced, very knowledgeable, professional, and caring. I got a package of 3, and I am so glad she suggested it. My body felt so much better, and the results have been long lasting. I will definitely return.

Lisa is a caring, thoughtful and intuitive hydrotherapist and I recommend her highly! I’m sleeping soundly and much less stomach pain for the first time in years. Also, make sure you schedule at least a few visits if you really want to see results.

i just want to share what a great experience i have when i go see Lisa for a colon hydrotherapy session. I have sent family members and friends to see Lisa and they have nothing but positive things to say about their experience with her. She is gentle and very informative about health in general.

Definitely forgot to write a review for this spot, haven’t been in a long long time but, definitely paying a visit soon. Lisa is awesome she’s comforting and very knowledgeable about her practice. I’ll be visit again soon. Great start to detoxing or just to clear the system out.

I cannot say enough about Susan Linder! When I moved out here from Arizona I was given her information from a friend (she is that good! Her reputations crosses state lines!) I have been going to Susan now for two years and have sent everyone I know to see her (including my AZ family when they are out to visit!) I consistently receive great feedback on all of these referrals and a great bonus of extra minutes added to my massage for sending people her way. If you are looking for an outstanding massage at a great price, in a comfortable environment Susan is for you. My only fear in writing this review is that if the secret gets out any further it may become hard to get in to see her! Truly outstanding!

I’ve seen Lisa a total of 3 times over the course close to 3 years.
I know it might seems strange for people to understand or accepts how warm water goes up your butt and it’s suppose to clean out your large and small intestines… does this about 3 or 4 times. She also massage your tummy and legs to get things going.
A great tips I do is have the toilet seat paper placed on the toilet seat because when she unplugged the tube off your butthole, you can’t possibly run to the restroom fast enough. She will keep reminding you to continue to plush the toilet.
Even though I really like Lisa, the main reason why I am giving a 3 stars is because each and every time she always pressure me to get the package of 3. Each session (without the package) is $ 70. I can’t see myself dropping $xx when I only see her once a year. I don’t like this pressure «guilt» feeling. For that, I am not sure if I will be seeing her again.
Meanwhile, I’ve been searching for another solution and found ChefV (located in San Diego) for my detox cleanse and I was able to get rid of my bloating situation within 3 days vs one session with Lisa.

Atsushi is the best acupuncturist there is. I am an athlete and often need assistance last minute and he always takes care of me. The prices are incredibly fair and I always feel better after my visit. I’ve been to other acupuncturists before and have never seen better results than here.

I’ve done research into the side affects of this form of alternative medicine. After finding that over 75% of illnesses occur due to toxic build-​up in your large intestine, I decided to try this new experience with Lisa. It’s awkward initially but Lisa makes the whole experience as relaxing as possible. With every visit I feel lighter, clearer, and more well rounded. She is incredibly knowledgeable and intelligent especially when it comes to your overall well being. She is rapidly becoming a confidant, friend, and something I have found myself looking forward too. Your not just flushing your system of toxins, but your whole being with her in these hour long sessions. I believe everybody is sceptical about this sort of thing at first, but I assure you Lisa is amazing! Try it once and cheers to your health!

Colon Hydrotherapy: I know these sort of things make people very uncomfortable and you’re about to get a lot of detail so this is my disclaimer… Read at your own risk! Haha
I’ve always been pretty athletic and fairly heathy when it comes to what I eat but once I hit my late 20’s, things weren’t working so well. Every single thing I ate would upset my stomach. I felt bloated and clogged and just gross. I asked some health nut friends and a few of them suggested a colonic. Eeeek! I was nervous but my situation had gotten so uncomfortable that I was down for whatever!
I actually found Lisa after researching and researching «colon hydrotherapy» in San Diego. She had great reviews so I picked her. First of all, getting a colonic is probably one of the most uncomfortable situations you could willingly enter into… But Lisa makes you feel so comfortable. She has been doing this for more than 15 years and makes you feel so calm and as relaxed as possible (given what you’re about to do)! She is just absolutely amazing! I’ve been going to her for about 7 months now and will continue to go to her until she retires! So if you’re looking to get some hydrotherapy, she’s the one!
Now getting into the nitty-​gritty stuff. I initially scheduled a block of 3 colonics. Nothing craaazy came out initially like you see pics of but stuff definitely came out and I was already starting to feel much better. As she’ll tell you, everyone is different and «break-​throughs» usually happen somewhere in sessions 4 – 9. So I scheduled 3 more and we got a little deeper into the colon and a lot more stuff came out. For me, it wasn’t until session 6 or 7 that it was really crazy. It’s amazing what you have stuck up there I’ve even recently done a 5 day liquid-​only cleanse/​detox while simultaneously a round of 4 colonics and it was ridiculous what came out !!! Yea, that’s right, NO FOOD, Liquid ONLY and literally about 2 – 4 feet, in total, of solid waste matter came out EACH session. That should give you a good idea of what you have stuck in there. You’re probably thinking I’m pretty big right?! I’m 5’8″ and weigh 128lbs.
As for the colonics themselves — if you haven’t gotten one before, this is what to expect. You’ll get a tube put up your bottom, not far so don’t freak out! And then once your aligned and comfortable, warm water will gently flush in and once it’s time, it will be flushed out. When you’re about to have some movement, you’ll feel really crampy as the stuff is passing through. It feels like those times when food hasn’t agreed with you and you run to the bathroom, you get all crampy right before you pass all that crap (no pun intended haha). Anyway, so you’ll go through this process (fill & flush out) multiple times. Once your session is over, you’ll use the bathroom and get the rest out! Don’t worry, you won’t be leaking or anything later! Lol
As far as how I feel… It’s honestly remarkable. My energy level is way higher. I have lost weight (but that’s definitely NOT what this is for but it does happen as you get all that waste out). My skin looks better. My digestion is better than it was before. Everything feels better! I also used to suffer from chronic kidney infections and haven’t had any issues since I started this process. It’s simply amazing, Lisa is amazing & I feel absolutely amazing!!!

If you’re thinking about getting a colonic, I highly recommend Lisa! I’ve been in twice now and she really makes a not-​so-​fun (but really needed) experience a lot less scary. She is very knowledgable and good at making you feel comfortable throughout the whole process. I’m always nervous to get this done but once it’s over, I’m glad I did it! Lisa is super friendly and the place is very clean, peaceful, and easy to find.
Just do it! ;)

The first time I met Lisa for our initial session, we connected immediately. She asked me about my health conditions, eating habits, and gave very helpful and thorough advice. During the session itself, we got talking about more personal things going on with my life and family and she showed genuine concern. After all, mind and body are connected.
I felt extremely at ease with her immediately and experienced no discomfort whatsoever. By the end of the session, I could tell that this is something she regards as a «calling» which she’s very passionate about and takes seriously. She followed up with me immediately with a phone call and emails with personalized diet recommendations, which I appreciated very much. She goes above and beyond.
It’s obvious that, not only is she compassionate towards her clients’ individual struggles, but she’s interested genuinely in their health and well-​being. Since then, I am a regular client of hers and I look forward to our sessions and feeling amazing Mind/​Body/​and Spirit afterwards. She is a very enlightened and uplifting person with tons of education and knowledge, and just an extremely gifted person in generally. I appreciate Lisa very much and am so grateful for her.

I had never in my life imagined I’d get colon hydro therapy.
I’ve had digestive problems my whole life and have always thought that as far treatment options go, a colonic would be both embarrassing and painful. Even if it miight be something I truly needed.
After reading reviews on the web and here on Unilocal,and months of batting the idea around I decided to call Lisa.
Lisa was extremly kind and very proffesional, not only did she ease my nerves but she explaned everything that she was doing every step of the way. I couldn’t believe how easy she made the entire process.
I also cxouldnt believe how much beter I felt afer everythikng was done. I went from never dreaming of getting a colonic to wondering why I waited so long. I highly reccomend lisa.
Ill admit that I regretted through nerves alone, that I even worked up the nerve to call. And I was nervous and embarrassed the whole drive to the office. That was untill I met Lisa.

Lisa does a great job and kept me entertained each and every session. She even hooked me up with some colon deodorant free of charge. I believe it was mint.
She gave me some great advice on eating habits. I’m big on juicing now. When I start to slip off the healthy diet, I will be making a return visit.

After reading reviews on Unilocal and research I had decided to go through it. Lisa is so informative. She knows a lot and makes you feel as comfortable as possible. Being a normal insecure woman that I am, I heard that by doing this you can possibly lose a couple pounds.
I bought the 3 for $ 250 package (not sure about the price range, but it’s around there) My overall experience was good, but I didn’t see the pounds come off as easy as others had said.
This was a bit pricey and I’m not planning to do it again anytime soon, but if you’re looking into doing it I would suggest you do it with Lisa!

About once a year I impulsively go on a crazy detox binge to try to cleanse my body of toxins. From Bentonite clay and fiber cocktails, to the Master Cleanse and detox teas, I’ve tried them all.
Last year Jamie P. and I decided to take the plunge (no pun intended!) and try CoLoN HyDrOtHeRaPy! Hey, Janet Jackson (Ms. Jackson if you’re nasty) does it.
I purchased a package of 3 from Lisa. During all 3 sessions nothing came out of me except for water and gas bubbles. Jamie P. had the same experience. What happened to the petrified poo ppl talk about?! Lisa said we really needed to schedule in more sessions to dislodge the poo, which I declined to do since these sessions don’t come cheap. I also didn’t feel any healthier after these sessions.
Lisa was wonderful and made the whole experience as not awkward as possible, but I really don’t think colon hydrotherapy was for me.
