Best Banh Cuon in all of San Diego. They’re cheap and quick. They don’t have a seating area though so we always get it to go and chow down at home. They have all of the toppings that go with Banh Cuon too. Definitely recommend them for your Banh Cuon cravings. PS…it’s also easier to park around Tan Dinh than it is to find parking around Phuong Nga

Love this place!!! Hot, fresh tofu pudding, soybean milk, and on weekends they have fried tofu with mushroom!!! They have added more hot, to go foods — banh uot, banh cuon, many pork items, and things wrapped in banana leaves(they’ll walk you through what’s inside each one). Don’t be intimidated. The family that runs this business are friendly and do speak English so can help describe things for you. You can also buy their tofu and soybean products at 99 Ranch, Vien Dong Market, etc. But I say why? When I can get it fresh from the pot here.

Delicious fresh food by a family business… I’ve been going here since I was a kid and will continue to be a loyal customer(as my grandparents and parents have been). Tofu and soy milk lovers, this is the Southeast San Diego joint for you !

Had to come out of Unilocal retirement because my mother got furious and demanded a business shaming review… Quality has severely gone down. Bought 5lbs of banh uot and all turned into mushy turd the next day. Please refer to Exhibit Eww Purchase with caution!
