I spent about an hour and is cute little shop! I loved all the candles and the little decorations that you could put around your house. The clothes is also so beautiful & can spend easy! I’ll definitely be back & I’ll be checking out the Coronado location too!

This store has the cutest things! From clothes, accessories, to home goods! This place is in Del Mar so it is pricey but the quality of everything is great.
If you are looking for Mexican blankets, this is your store! A wide variety of sizes & colors & I found the exact same one I was eyeing on Instagram here for cheaper!
Also, if it is your birthday, they will give you a discount!

99% of the time the employees at this store are awesome but when I went in on Valentine’s Day 2015, the customer service was poor. Usually when I walk into studio 1220 the employee/​employees working say hi right away (especially since the store is small) & are super helpful. Unfortunately, when I went in on Valentine’s Day the store was near empty but yet the employee didn’t even acknowledge that I walked in (even when I was looking at clothes RIGHT next to the register where she was standing). Instead, she was busy texting behind the register. I was 3 feet away from her and she wouldn’t even look up. After I had searched the whole store & when my arms were full of clothes to try on (after attempting to make eye contact with her so I could try clothes on already), she FINALLY said something to me (asked if I wanted a fitting room). I love the clothes at this store and like I said before, almost every time I’ve come in the girls that work there are on their game and super helpful and friendly, but this was not one of those days. I had never seen the girl working there today and I was very disappointed in how careless she treated the costumers. What bothered me the most was when I observed an older lady shopping there that acted so sweet/​polite but yet she had to literally pursue the employees help over and over (while the employee acted annoyed by the older lady asking her questions & wasn’t being helpful at all). I don’t know why that girl was hired to work at that store because she acts like a fake, spoiled, and entitled brat and has near zero costumer service skills. The three stars goes to the clothes and the other nice employees that I’ve seen in there. The –2 stars is from the bad experience on Valentine’s Day. If it wasn’t for that girl this place would be 5 stars.

Clothes are really pretty and a lot like Anthropologie, but with a lower price tag. They don’t have all sizes for each item though, so you risk falling in love with an item only to not be able to get it in your size. Heather was the one who helped me out and she was super nice. Not pushy but helpful. I’ll be visiting again!

I can’t give this place zero stars because Unilocal won’t let me, but trust me when I say this, they deserve it. This past weekend, my lady, younger brother, and myself went to shop at the del mar highlands center. We stumbled upon this small boutique. As soon as we went in, we were completely ignored by the workers. No assistance was provided, nor did they asked if we needed anything. My lady ended up choosing a small necklace and took it to the register. Upon arriving to the register, the worker didn’t even bother greeting us. She simply asked if the necklace completed the purchase, and the sales associate finished the transaction.
I would expect this behavior to occur if the store had a huge rush, but there was only one other customer in the store along with a second sales associate, and the sales associate at the register was too busy talking with her co-​worker that she gave us no attention, even during check out.
We live in a city that is a multicultural melting pot but apparently this sales associate (whose name I will leave out because I refuse to stoop to that level), hasn’t gotten that memo. Maybe if we had dressed in designer clothing, we would’ve had some proper service.
WE WILL NEVER GIVE THIS SHOP OUR BUSINESS AGAIN! And I hope that whoever reads this, thinks twice before going to shop there.

8 out of 10 times I can find something cute in this boutique. It’s boho pieces mixed in with work attire and even some comfy clothes gives you the opportunity to find something in here! The quality is 1 – 2 seasons and then give-​away, but those pieces reinvent your wardrobe season to season and the price is right for this purpose. They are always friendly in here and I always leave feeling good about my new purchase when I leave :)

Store is located in a regional center type shopping center in Del Mar. The clothes are trendy, good for the 20 – 40 crowd (I say 40 because I’ll probably still shop here at age 40, no shame). My favorite things are the accessories! Love the cute and unique pieces they offer, especially the wrap-​around bracelets made locally. Bought an adorable initial necklace and will def go back for more.

Such an adorable little store hidden in this shopping center. When I first walked in there were cute shabby chic home accents & a collection of ceramic owls sitting on the shelves. I love owls! They had a mint green, ceramic owl coin bank that they were selling for $ 18. I have the exact same one that I bought else where for only $ 10 =/​The prices were hit or miss. But for the most part, they were decent. Awesome clothing selection, pretty good accessories, & nice shoes. I found a wine colored faux leather cross body bag with gunmetal studs for $ 50. I’m so excited to put it to use. There was a tiny little mens section in the very back corner where all men’s clothing were 50% off. I snagged a grey, bomber jacket for my BF for only $ 35!!! What steal!

Boho chic store in Del Mar Heights with lots of cute little accessories, nic nacks and tops. The salesgirls were sweet and attentive. Wish that they would’ve had more sizes though.

although they recently downsized (and i have to say i really missed the larger store) it still is a favorite of mine. they have the trendy cothes/​accessories with a kind of vintage/​rock/​unique style. the only reason i took one stay away is because some items may be a little bit over priced especially since i can get a $ 100 shirt here for only $ 15 – 20 at forever 21 BUT they still have really cute clothes and im a returning customer

Heidi Rocks! Because of her, this is the ONLY store I shop at. She knows my style, size, and price range. She calls me when she see something I’d like. Because of her all of my friends are 1220 fans also! Thanks, Heidi for being the driving force behind a «stylish me»!

I love the clothing selection at this place. There is a good variety – they have some cheap stuff and some more expensive stuff for when I’m feeling wealthy. I’ve been here several times and rarely make it out the door without at least a few new pretty things. But once when I was there I overheard the salesgirl loudly making fun of the sweet little middle-​aged lady that had just walked out the door and had just spent over a hundred bucks there. It made me really uncomfortable. I guess we can’t all be professional all the time.

I don’t know why it has taken me so long to write a review for the store, I have been shopping here for years.
The clothing selection is fabulous. They have very unique pieces that are affordable and extremely cute. The salesgirls are super friendly and helpful, without being intrusive and pushy. When I do ask for help or suggestions, they always seem to pick out items that flatter, and I genuinely like. :) I rarely leave this store without making a purchase.
Give this store a try :) You wont regret it

awesome clothing with decent circulation. the staff is super friendly and call me crazy, but they actually seem honest in answering the customers «do you think this looks ok?» LOL the accessories are very cool and unique, maybe a tad pricey though. what i love about this place is that when i wear stuff from here, i get more compliments that on any other outfit. i rated them down a star though because they stopped selling their awesome men’s clothing :(

I really enjoyed shopping at this store! There is a great range of prices for you to choose from. Tons of dresses! Sales girl was friendly and not pushy.

Great clothes. Better prices. Nice staff… I like the old staff better than the newbies. The old staff helped pick out outfits and make rec’s. The newbies sat of facebook my entire shopping trip, chatting with her friend on the phone while looking at pics from their night out. Tips: No return policy, only exchanges, so make sure you like it before you buy it.

This place has become one of my favorite stores. They have the coolest clothes that can really spice up the life of a boring Banana Republic fan like myself. They have a very attentive and helpful staff that will make suggestions if you ask. Their clothes are different but not over the top and their prices are fairly reasonable. The have great accessories, coats, tops, dresses and other cool stuff. Definitely check it out.

Studio 12 – 20 is a trendy boutique with a rock n’ roll edge. They have three locations and this one differs a lot compared to the store in The Forum in Carlsbad. The Del Mar location is nothing like what’s featured on the Web. They cater to a bit more classier crowd still maintaining a very stylish flair. I really love some of their pieces especially the velvet dresses and jackets. It is sort of like Max Studio meets Courtney Love. The store is small and cozy and the service is low key.
