I want to thank emad for fixing car audio citys mess, he gave me a fully loaded system with no money out of pocket. Yoy should go in ask for details on their financing. Emad really hooked me up and beats all stereo shops pricing. Like i said go in and ask for emad!!! He is super legit, thanks bro!!! Will be bringing more cars and customers!!!

PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE, I REPEAT, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO STEREO DEPOT!
My Experience: I came upon this store looking for a place to buy a stereo bezel for my A4. My internet connection was not loading the Unilocal page for the store so I went in to take a look.
Big mistake.
I bought the bezel, then a couple days later, I went to return the bezel because I found something nicer [I hadn’t seen the no returns print at the bottom of my invoice]. But, yes, I signed the invoice without having seen that before.
Now where I parked my car was a mistake — in the driveway. The salesman had his guys pretty much seize my car and start pulling things apart [they took out the radio without my permission and told me I needed all new wiring]. So the salesman, John, who reminds me of Watto from STAR WARS EPISODE 1, tells me that he would give me a package deal. All new wiring, radio, speakers, and full car tint for $ 700+ all under a financing plan.
He used all these sleazy, ridiculous sales techniques and spoke to me like I was a moron — I didn’t hit him back because I was afraid his thuggish looking coworkers would mess with my car more. Anyway, it took about an hour to convince me fully to give them the ok to do the job. At the time, I hadn’t known better. This was my first sports car and I was eager to fix her up.
So after the job was done. I noticed MANY imperfections on my tint job [see pictures]. And the original dash bezel I had was cracked obviously as a result of poor handling while doing the job — but I guess these things just happen, right? I take it back a week later as instructed to have them fix the tint, and the second I get there and roll up my driver side window [the first time I’ve used it since before I had the tint done], the window falls off its track and breaks. John goes, «I’ll won’t charge you to look at the window,» like he’s doing me such a solid. At this point, it’s obvious that the guys broke my window regulator during the installation of the driver side speaker and were trying to get more money out of me.
I took my ride to my friends shop and he replaced the regulator. Never went back to these scum bags again and I never will. To this day my tint remains looking like shit [see pictures].
Invest you money into a place that does quality work and doesn’t use sleazy, rude salesman to convince and belittle people into giving them money for overpriced services.

Emad was very informative and helpful, very pleasant to experience. Rolando pointed out my box was leaking air and Emad helped me out with a ported box for 70 $ will come back for sure!

Where do i start off i was reffered to this location i was in south bay looking for a car audio system and was told they have the best deals in town. i spoke to adrian when i came in and he got me very knowledged about all their product and how they are even autherized dealser for all their product they carry. i got a ful complete system with very little out of pocket which i appreciate and can definetly recomeend more friends to this location.

They have a lot of stuff the chose from that’s for sure.
I had my own subwoofer, box and amp and the sales guy saw it all and still precedes to tell me he will show me the boxes they have, and asking the prices I paid, telling me they price match. I had a good quality box and sub and amp, so what was he thinking I would do, return all my stuff later and buy a new box and amp from them ??? That was a little weird
Small small location, if you’re looking to get multiple things done, prepare on them asking to keep your car overnight and all day.
After my car was left overnight for car stereo and wiring, 5 pm the next day the car was done when I showed up. NO CALL to tell me it was done .
HID lights were thrown in on my package deal. Well they only did my night lights on my civic. The running lights and high beams are still hologen lights, meaning they didn’t change those and the lights look stupid now. I will be changing them myself.
Also they charge a lot for installation and I had to bring the car back because there was static dead noise when no music was playing… They used the wrong connecter for my stereo.
I chose to do a 90 day finance. When the first payment was due, I went in to pay it. Well you have to call and set up an account to pay the third party company. This was not explained not was it explained on the packet they gave me.
Make sure to ask lots of questions if you go with stereo depot.
3 stars for amount of products they have and if you talk to them you can get a good deal on a lot of things

John is very cool, come in and see him. They had fast service, same day in a matter of minutes. Good selection of car audio to choose from. Had a beer next door at the hookah lounge –cheep $ Pacifico hell yeah

My first time to this shop and was stoked with my car audio system and gave me a good time frame and kept updating me about my car which no one out there does I got a extra warranty for a cheap deal and I know they will be there for me. And Adrian was my salesmen and gave me a lot of product knowledge and learned a lot about this store

Adrian hooked me up. Superb customer service! Highly recommended Stereo Depot. i called this place two time and Adrian seemed so patient he was able to guide me there and didn’t charge me to program my alarm. I got a free aux cord for checking and defiantly will be back to give them more business.

Allen is awesome. I came in on Tuesday had a less than pleasant experience but I came back to see if I could make an exchange and Allen went out of his way for to make it right. Before even knowing I needed to make an exchange/​refund he came up and greeted me and asked if I needed assistance. He was able to get me a copy of my receipt and help me exchange my sub and box even though sales are final. He even went above that exchanged my capacitor for the wiring kit for the subwoofer. He took the time to educate me on how the wiring works. Definitely will be back for additional car audio needs.

DON’t FALL FOR THE BAIT AND SWITCH ADS IN THE READER! I saw a great deal on a Navigation unit for $ 199. I also noticed it said free installation on all stereos. Upon arriving to the store I ended up being charged $ 150 for a wiring harness and another fee for a dash kit. I also had to pay for installation because the unit I purchased is not a «stereo». I knew there would be additional parts and materials but did not anticipate spending $ 500 on something that was advertised for $ 199.
After submitting my review I was contacted by Allen in an attempt to find out what happened and make it right. When I spoke to him he was apologetic and wanted to make it right. I asked if I could have some of my money back and he said he couldn’t do that but would offer me some new speakers free of charge. So I took him up on his offer. They honored the agreement and I feel now that they care about customer service and making their customers happy. Overall I would give them a 4 star rating but since I had to go through this I had to rate my experience a 3 star.

Jon helped me when I went in. They are so welcoming. I was treated like family. He was so honest and gave me a great deal on a stereo and speakers for my 16 yr old daughters car. My car was in and out in a few hours. This shop is great and I’m going to keep coming back. Don’t go anywhere else! Stereo Depot is the best!!!

Very good customer service and products. If you ever have any problems they will make sure to take care of you. Definitely going to continue to bring my business here.

Man!!! Adrian hooked it up!!! The pioneer avh-​4100NEX is amazing! Not only did I get a great deal on a head unit, I got all new speakers, an amp, sub, back-​up camera, window tinting and an alarm! For practically a steal! Thanks guys! I’ll be back for more!

Best place in SD to get the hook up! I’ve seen Jon twice in two years and not only did he remember me but because I came back for more business he took care of me. I came into Stereo Depot looking for just a simple place to do my window tint.
Adrian helped me out the whole time and is really good at his job! I have been a previous customer before for window tinting so when I got a new car, I came back. He suggested a stereo in my car and I was a little reluctant however we talked numbers and get got my business. That night he did my window tint and the next day I brought my car back for the installation of my stereo. They took care of me right away. The window tint looks awesome and I’m super happy with my overall experience. I will definitely be coming back for some more upgrades. Thank you!!! (:

In response to the owners comments I just got to say this:
1.) Sure, during repairs its is plausible that things may pop up. But you sure made it sound like its a simple solution to a simple problem before I left. On the phone. Furthermore, upon arriving there, you immediately said I need relay wires which is extra — and said this not having touched, or for that matter looked, at the vehicle at all.
2.) it took 20 – 25 minutes to get there. I highly doubt between my phone call and driving immediately over that your staff had a sudden emergency during that time frame. but even so, you shouldn’t neglect your customers who have made appointments or promised to be seen at a certain
get another staff or make yourself available or arrange another appointment time for starters.

This place is amazing :) the group that works here is so helpful and informative.
I came in about 7 months ago for my first time to get the kicker hideaway in my car (turns out I really wanted more then that). When I decided to upgrade to a harder hitting system, I somehow blew the whole sub… I have no idea what I’m doing when it comes to this stuff. They took really good care of me and have been really patient with all of my questions.
