Specialties

STEAM2 Academy specializes in fostering children’s interest in Science, Technology, pre-​Engineering, Art, Music, and Math. We use curriculum, hands-​on activities, and equipment developed in conjunction with NASA California Space Grant Consortium, National Science Foundation High Performance Wireless Research and Education Network, and the National Park Service Sea to Shining Sea education program. Our Saturday Science classes are November 1 – 29 (9am-​12pm). You can learn more about our classes on our website!

Business Owner

STEAM2 Academy Director and Lead Instructor Kimberly Mann Bruch (BA, MA) has been working with children in an array of educational settings for more than 15 years. Her work has ranged from education and outreach sessions at Native American Learning Centers and National Park Science sites via research projects at the University of California at San Diego to City of San Diego Recreation Centers and Public Libraries via Hopscotch San Diego.
