I went in for a simple tea but the supervisor(a woman with dreadlocks) couldn’t even get that right. When I told her that it’s not the tea I ordered, she tried to give me the right tea with a big attitude but I had to stop her because she was about to give me a wrong one yet again. How hard is it to pay attention and listen to what your customer is ordering? It seemed that it was very hard for her. When she finally got my order right, she put the cup on the counter far from my reach and left. She is very rude and lacks basic customer service skills. She is not suitable for this job. I’ll never go back to that Starbucks.

I come here often because I have to work while I wait for my kids at rowing. This is a strange Starbucks. Depending on the time of year, you get three types of people here: locals, tourists, and homeless(sometimes crazy). This mixture is not too fun when, in winter, it’s 30% locals, 5% tourists and 65% homeless/crazies. I came here once when there was no place to sit because the homeless who don’t order were taking up seats(without ordering). Then there’s the staff. The staff here falls into two categories: straight out rude, and super friendly. Really no in-between. There is one girl who works here who is honestly so rude, it’s uncomfortable. She is rude to customers and co-workers alike. How about getting another job if you hate it so much. Or take a 10 minute break and re-group. I’m looking for another place to work from now on.

The music was sooooo loud! Non stop top 10 female pop music! If you want to hear lady gaga blasting while you try to think, this is your place. Otherwise go to a local coffee shop where it’s peaceful.

Says they are open until 9:30. Went in at 8:57 for hot chocolate so we could take it to go look at Christmas lights and were turned away because they were«closed.»

Excellent: location great, ample inside and outside seating, clean, bathrooms clean, and good team of employees. Matt has been great as he acknowledged me, rang me up and created perfect drinks! Overall a favorite location as its relaxed, diverse, and so close to ocean! With holidays coming go to this Starbucks to recharge, buy gift cards for co-workers and friends, and tip big the hardworking team at this location! Great job! God bless!

I understand the staff deals with a lot of homeless customers and the constant beach goer needing to pee, but«shooshing» a customer and pointing at another customer, referencing your interaction with them, when they had already given them their change too? I guess he thought I was being rude but I had waited for him to finish and then asked my question. It wasn’t an interruption. I avoid Starbucks because of the attitudes a lot of employees display– this was a time I should have skipped it.

The service is great and usually quick, even when they r busy. BUT, I kid you not, it’s a homeless camp right outside 24 – 7. And they allow them inside even if they don’t purchase anything. I refer to this pack as «they» because this crew is here daily and they are disrespectful douchebags. Then they go into Ralph’s next door to steal food. Clean up your patio Starbucks! It’s effing gross

Chances are this will not be like your usual Starbucks. I felt that the store’s location being in a high traffic tourist area kinda dictates the quality or lack of it. I was staying near-by for three days and unfortunately, this Starbucks was the one few options for an early morning coffee.

Just had an awesome coffee experiance at this Starbucks! Megan was my Barista and she remembered me from a previous visit! My name and what I ordered the time before! that made me feel really welcomed and in a place that cares about me. I will be coming back to this location for sure just because of her! Thank you Megan!

First off the customer service here was Amazing. I ordered a refresh tea and they offered to put my honey in it without having to ask which is great. I got my tea very timely and the gentleman behind to counter was very approachable and friendly. That being said the fridge in this Starbucks is painfully loud. It was so load the guy had a hard time hearing my order and two other people complained about the noise in the short 30 minutes that I was there. I suggest Starbucks gets someone in there to fix the fridge or they invest in a new one

Made refrigerator is noisy, kills your experience. Also they made us make the line again to charge us for seprate transactions. Starbuck does not want you to gain more stars. For that reason do not mind making the line again. Let them pay for it.

Worst iced coffee I’ve ever had. I wanted to spit it out. I’ve had coffee all over the world, but I don’t consider myself a coffee aficionado by any means. Starbucks is not known for having good coffee, but this is just pathetic. It tastes like burnt popcorn. I’ve added as much cream as I can handle to mask the«coffee’s»(chemicles’ ?) flavor and it’s still awful. I’m only drinking it is because I paid for it and want caffeine. McDonald’s iced coffee is a million times better, in my opinion. 7 – 11’s coffee is better than this. The free coffee at any bank is better than this because it doesn’t cost any money and delivers an experience on par with this stuff. The only reason I’m giving this Starbucks two stars instead of one is because the place is clean, has a good location on the corner of a busy street making it great for people watching, and mostly because it’s the only coffee shop I know of in PB to have AIRCONDITIONING.

To me it was just a normal day at Starbucks. I haven’t been there for a while because it’s a little expensive but my nephew, who is 9, wanted to go. He ordered the Carmel Ribbon Frappucino with no shots. Fancy drink for a 9 year old… SOYUMMY. The staff was friendly.

So thankful for this Starbucks! Walked 2 miles from my friend’s place to get juiced: D it’s a tad small, but has outdoor seating. The view is obstructed to the ocean which is a bit sad, but the area is nice with plenty of shopping. The ladies working were A+ baristas & very friendly. Nice spot to watch the locals as the ppl on the beach seam to be a lot of tourist.

Meh. Ice in an iced coffee seems like common sense, but apparently not here. There were three staff members and they lagged to help. They were chatting and had one literally prancing to Madonna before we were helped. My drink was ready and no one yelled my name, or even the name of my drink for that matter. I finally was going to ask for my drink when I see it in the counter. I pick it up to add creamer and surprise surprise… no half and half! I ask for some and they look annoyed they were bothered. FYI I don’t think Madonna karaōke is approved as relaxing Starbucks music. I can tolerate some Madonna but not 3 people not doing their jobs and singing while ignoring customers. These baristas were one of the least professional bunch I’ve ever seen.

I received an email promotion from Starbucks. The offer was valid for all espresso drinks at 50% off. The email coupon did not any exclude any drinks. Last week, I visited this Starbucks to take advantage of the promotion. I ordered a venti size Carmel Frappuccino. Dante, the cashier said I could not get a Frappuccino, it had to be other espresso drinks. I showed him the offer from my phone, pointing out that there were no exclusions for a Frappuccino. He did not honor the offer. I spoke with his shift dealer Catlin, who was very polite; however, she could not provide the Frappuccino. I then spoke with supervisor Feliz(less polite than Catlin with an indifferent attitude). Felez could not help either and she further failed to point to any exception from the coupon. The manager Janett F. was not available. Next, I called district manager, Mohammed Esfandian and left a message asking for a return call. Mr. Esfandian never returned my call. I then called the customer service and 10 minutes later, I spoke with a friendly customer service rep. She informed that since there were no exceptions noted on the email coupon, the store should have accommodated my request. She than added a free drink on my card. Ultimately, my issue was resolved. However, having spent 30 minutes for a free drink is hardly a productive use of my time. I feel the staff here is not well trained and lacks basic etiquette of customer service. However, I do not fault the employees. I do fault the management for the lack of training their employees resulting in poor customer service.

This one can get a little tricky in the morning. Trying to beat the rush is never a set schedule here. Even with the rush, staff and quick and makes my drink right.

Yes, it’s just a chain Starbucks store but I wanted to review it to give massive props to the team who works here because they rock. Of course I want to support my local independent coffee shops but sometimes Starbucks can be more convenient and this location always hooks me up. One of the baristas, Sarah, remembered my name and my order the second time I ever came in. Seriously — this location is always packed out with locals and tourists yet somehow she remembered me after one visit. That is amazing. As I mentioned this location is usually packed with a small line and I think the team working handles the crowd well. Crazy customized orders, blended drinks galore, language barriers from vacationers; this team rocks it out and almost always with a smile. peace, love, and good booze ~ chase
