These ladies really know their stuff, easy to get appointments by phone. I love their infrared sauna for detoxing.

I went in on a groupon for cupping and totally fell in love with the place! Erin was so friendly and so passionate about what she does which is always great to see. She spent a little extra time massaging my neck which is alway such a mess. Her hands are incredibly strong and she really knows her stuff! I love deep tissue massage so she was really able to get out some stiffness in my neck that had been there forever and had been causing lots of tension headaches. After my groupon session was over I immediately booked another massage appointment with Erin for the next week. If you want to actually get some muscle relief and heal your body, go see Erin now!

I’m a regular at this spa and they never let me down. I still come for massages, infrared sauna and body scrubs, but this review is for Olivia who did my Brazilian and legs and has been maintaining it. Olivia is fast, friendly and efficient and is constantly striving to be the best she can be. Everyone here is always so kind it makes getting your hair ripped out by the root a worthwhile experience. Unassuming family-​owned spa in a kind of hidden plaza near Boomers. I found them via Livingsocial and bought a deal for a facial when I saw the positive Unilocal reviews. I had some trouble making an appointment at first since I was unable to reach them by phone the first few tries, but I’m glad I left a voicemail and got an appointment set up! Their esthetician, Olivia, has magical hands. I would definitely recommend getting a facial with her — she is very helpful and thorough. The staff overall are very friendly. I’ll probably be back to get a massage!

Woke up today with a stuffy head and sinuses, a headache and general feeling crappy. At 16 weeks pregnant, I’ve been feeling tired and not myself. Took a day off from work to stay home and rest. Decided to look around for a massage and found Spa & Etc.
I called and they said they could get me in within a half an hour. I jumped in the shower for a quick clean up and headed over.
After a quick greeting, I filled out their intake form and headed into the massage room with Jamie.
There were plenty of hooks and baskets for storing my clothing and jewelry, which is nice, plus tissues and a mirror. I disrobed and stretched out on the massage table. When Jamie came in, we talked about what I was looking for and any concerns I had and she got started.
What a lovely treatment! Her touch was soothing and yet firm enough that she really worked out a lot of the knots in my neck and shoulders. I think the best part was the head and scalp massage, it felt so good!
I really appreciated being accommodated right away. Jamie was friendly yet professional and I could tell she wanted me to have a great experience. The staff who greeted me was nice. One slight detraction was that during the first 15 or so minutes of the treatment, I could hear two women having a pretty intense, personal discussion outside the room, in the main lobby. It was a little distracting from the mellow vibe and woowoo music in the room, but they eventually quieted down and all was peaceful. Perhaps a room further in back of the facility would be quieter? In any event, it was no big deal.
I paid $ 49 for a 50 minute massage — not sure if that was a special or something as I’d expected to pay a bit more. I really liked the service today and I will definitely be back. Going to send the hubs for a massage after he gets back from his annual snowboarding trip. (He falls down a lot! he he)

This place is a keeper!!!

This time I tried the far infrared sauna here. I’ve tried all different types at different places. Usually you’re wrapped in plastic and then in a blanket and that gives you a good sweat… but you can’t move! It’s super uncomfortable being a burrito for 30 minutes or more.
At Spa & Etc, you’re encased in the sauna so your free to move your hands in, out, grab some water and even wipe that tortuous sweat bead rolling down your cheek. Your head is out so you’re breathing normal air, which allows me to stay in there longer. Don’t get me wrong, the heat can be uncomfortable too, but that’s it.
The best sweat I’ve gotten, with less claustrophobia. Perfect right after a massage

I actually did not personally get a massage here but I took my parents. I had a packaged groupon for two: massage, body scrub, and facial. However, it expired but they still honored it for me! I knew my parents were not into the scrub or facial so they let me customize and choose a 90 minute massage instead! I was e-​mailing Erin back and forth and she was so friendly and funny! I felt like I already knew her through e-​mail and meeting her in person completely matched her e-​mail personality. Love how bubbly she is.
I came and checked my parents in. Emily, Erin’s mom, helped me with the process. She was a sweet lady too! She was telling me how it is a family run business and they try to offer different things which I like a lot.
Orlando was my dad’s therapist. My dad said he truly worked on his problem areas and tried to get the knots out.
Jamie was my mom’s therapist. She did a full body massage and my mom liked it!
Great family business. Everyone is friendly. We would come back to support!

Dominica Was great! she walked me through every step of my facial and had a wonderful background with dealing with treating acne and worked with me to really solve my skin issues, i immediately scheduled another visit while there because she was so great! I don’t think I could trust anyone else with my skin now! She even called the next day to see how i felt about my skin!

I found this place using Unilocal and used the promo for me and my Mom. The owner Emily homered my expired Unilocal deal even though it was over a year old. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The massage was first class and Iwoll definitely be ba back for more.

Erin and Emily are great. I do the sauna weekly and love it. This is a place where I truly feel that I am around friends. Dominica did the Lymphatic Massage the first time and it was great, she is sooo pleasant. I am planning to go every week as long as they would have me.
Erin and Emily really take the time to talk to me about my ailments and I consider it emotional and physical heeling.

I’ve been going to Erin whenever I pull a muscle or have a terrible knot for years. She will make you scream and holler and call her names but will walk out feeling better.

Unfortunately I do not live here, because if I did this would be my regular spa. While I was in town I stumbled onto a great Groupon deal for a massage, body scrub, and facial for less than $ 100 at this spa. I was so pleasantly surprised with the service! Like other reviewers have said, this does spa not appear to be like other high-​end spas, but the service is definitely top quality! Do not let appearances deter you! Inside, the rooms were nicely appointed and peaceful.
I saw Jamie first for my massage and body scrub. The massage was perfect, and the body scrub amazing. My only other body scrub experience was at a different spa where it was kind of like being a piece of meat on a plastic table being scrubbed to death with a Brillo pad. This body scrub was in a peaceful room just like the massage, and yes you are naked, but Jamie was very professional and discreet. The salt scrub that she used smelled amazing and made my skin super soft.
I then moved on to Staci for the facial. While I wouldn’t say it was the best facial of my life, she definitely listened to everything that I wanted and I walked out with moisturized, glowing skin. Awesome!

I got the Groupon for $ 89 that included a body scrub, facial, and massage.
I had a great time, all in all I stayed 2h30 there getting pampered. Both ladies giving the different treatments really listen to your needs and adjust according to what you want.
The owner is super friendly and very good at customer service.
Great experience all in all, but I had to knock off one star because you could smell cigarette smoke coming in from the back door at times, and also you could hear people talking and the phone ringing through the wall while getting the massage. Not ideal but not a big deal either.

Spa & Etc. is a very special establishment. I found it via a search for two specific treatments: Far Infrared Sauna and Cupping, and am very happy that I found Erin and Emily, they are knowledgeable, professional, great at what they do, and very kind.

Like a lot of other reviewers, I came to Spa & Etc via a Groupon deal — $ 89 for a 50 minute massage, 50 minute facial, and a body scrub (a price that really can’t be beat!).
It was a little bit difficult scheduling my appointment as I was looking more for a weekend time slot than a weeknight one, but in the grand scheme of things it really wasn’t a big deal. You know you have first world problems when you can’t schedule a massage on one Saturday… because you already have a massage scheduled that day somewhere else. Woe is me, right? ;)
Staci got me started with my facial and scrub. She asked what my goals were for my facial and that’s when I realized I didn’t have one. Oops. Uh, how ’bout super clean skin and relaxation? Yeah, that sounds good! I would have liked if Staci had explained a bit more about what she was doing and each of the products she used but, in fairness, I could have asked and I’m sure she would have told me. As for the scrub, you know how you use them at home, right? A bit sparingly because 1) it’s not a cheap product and 2) you don’t want to get the salt/​sugar/​oil everywhere? Well Staci certainly didn’t scrimp on product use. It felt like she probably used a whole container of it!
From there I got a massage from Jamie. As I was telling her what I wanted her to focus on (my shoulders/​upper back/​neck), she suggested that she could do some work on my chest area, too, but it would require some immodesty (essentially, my breasts were exposed). As a side note, we had a kind of funny exchange where my response to this suggestion was «Yeah, I’m not very shy» but she thought she heard «Yeah, I’m not very sure.» Whoops! Glad she asked for clarification because that could have gone horribly wrong, lol. I actually wish more massage therapists would offer this because it really does help.
It’s nice that they provide you with cozy socks and big floofy bathrobes to move from one treatment room to the next. It definitely adds to the spa feel of things.
Both Jamie and Staci were telling me that the owner is big on customer service and will often honor first time customer deals even to return customers. That’s pretty cool and I’ll have to remember that. It’s too bad that the location isn’t just a *tad* more convenient to my house or work.

Five stars x infinity, that’s how great this place is.

My sisters and I scheduled our spa day which included a massage, facial, and scrub and we left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. They are all very sweet and actually care about their customers. I promise you won’t experience awkward silence or forced conversation at this place :)
I also did the infrared sauna and maaaaan, do you sweat! Yes, it’s disgusting but you get water so you won’t die from it. I actually prefer how they set it up because I wear contacts and hate the full body sauna.

I cannot rave about this place enough!!!
From booking the appointment over the phone smoothly with Emily to walking out of the place glowing healthily, the experience at Spa & Etc. is as good as it gets.
I bought the Groupon for the 50 minute massage, 50 minute facial, and body scrub combination for one hell of a deal and, honestly, even if I paid full price, this place would have been worth every penny.
I walked in for my appointment and was waiting all of 3 minutes when Emily the owner came up to me apologizing profusely for the «long» wait, and offered me a FREE pumpkin peel facial as an «apology». Wow! I was taken into a cozy dark room complete with candles and relaxing music by Staci, who was friendly yet professional, and gentle yet thorough. For a procedure that is supposed to be uncomfortable, I felt extremely relaxed and taken care of the entire time. Best of all, when she could sense that I wasn’t used to the extractions, she quickly switched to a different method of scrubbing that took a bit more time but got the job done. I love that she took the time to treat me and my skin as unique.
There are so many spas/​salons that operate under a «one-​size-​fits-​all» mentality, and you won’t find that kind of apathy here. The staff here is so attentive, sweet, and will go the extra mile by asking about details as specific as how frequently you exercise to how many cups of water you drank before coming in.
Next was my massage with Lynora. Again, I was so impressed with her technique, consistency, and energy. She took her time with each movement and paid special attention to the knots and sore areas on my body. It was one of those massages that you never want to end. I’ve had massages in resorts in Thailand and I can honestly say that this massage was just as effective and tranquil.
I ended with the body scrub, which erased all my previous fears and hesitations to try one. I’ve heard the horror stories of the scrubs where you’re forced to strip naked, rubbed down violently by a lady in her underwear, then sprayed with cold water like a piece of meat. Here, you’re actually under a towel lying on a heated bed while Lynora reaches under and scrubs your sides or abdomen in addition to everything else. After a complimentary shower, I felt fresh, clean, and brand new.
If you’re ever considering treating yourself to a spa day, I cannot recommend this place more. I say this because when I walked in, I could immediately tell that it was one of those days that was rough on everyone. Emily was on the phone trying to work out a problem – I think the internet was down in the whole place – yet, with the phone in one ear, she still welcomed me with unrestrained enthusiasm and helpfulness. This is the kind of business that puts the customer first, no matter what.
Did I mention that they use the best quality products, even for the shower after your scrub (!) and brands such as Dermalogica for the facial? I will, without a question, be back again.

I’ve read and seen about infrared saunas. And little did I know it really works! Infrared saunas help you improve blood circulation and burn calories without lifting a finger. I have a hard time falling asleep but after doing this sauna I can sleep like a baby! Dr. Oz, Oprah and celebrities do it and so can I. I would recommend this place to anyone!!!
