Do not ever buy a gift certificate or go here. What a joke! I received it as a gift from this location and they wouldn’t honor it because the location was crossed off. Not my fault that is what was given to me. I will never recommend this place. Horrible customer service!

I’ve been coming here for years, today was the first time I’ve gotten the worse rushed service ever.
I had scheduled an appointment ahead of time. You’d figure they’d honor it. And did not. My nails were filed crooked. If I didn’t pointed it out the guy would of continued with the coating. I even picked a simple design that way there was time to do it right. It was still rushed. Not worth what I paid for. No tip.
Very dissapointed and not coming back. I’d rather spend the extra bucks on gas driving down to San Diego then coming back.

It was definitely an amazing job on my nails. I took off a star though because the nail artist who was working on me originally put on the wrong color. It wasn’t until she was putting on the final coat of clear gel polish that she asked her coworker if she used the right color. Turns out, she didn’t, which I knew, but she still thought it was right. So I was going to just deal with it. However, I told her I wanted the pink to be more present, so she ended up finding the right one.
Other than starting off on the wrong foot, everything was great. I’m definitely going to go back when I need a change of color or a fill. Their prices are pretty decent too, for the outstanding quality service they give.

I thought this was an all-​time low for me-​going to nail shop inside a Walmart. But they did a great job! My ugly runner feet came out looking so pretty!

This place is my go to place to get my nails done! They’re all so nice and sweet over there. They take you in right away and always do exactly what you want. Tino always does my nails and she always takes care of me. She always make sure to take time to pamper you but won’t take too long. The location is very convenient because it’s inside walmart and they always take walk ins. This place is very nice and very clean. Overall, I would never go anywhere else or trust anyone else with my nails. If you’re looking for a place to get your nails done, Da-​Vi Nails is the place to go!

I’ve been coming here more than 5 years and Its been nothing but great every time. She’s very accommodating that it’s in wal mart so that I can shop before or after my appointments. Even if I don’t make an apt walk ins are always welcome. They are great and always take care of me. I think my tenure says it all. Tino is my nail tech and she is great very versatile !

Who would’ve thought there would be such a nice nail salon located inside of a Wal-​Mart? Da Vi Nails has to be one of my favorite nail salons in San Diego. They take their time to pamper you without being too long. Most of the other nail salons that I have been to the polish will chip in a matter of days, with this nail salon I can go easily a month and still look good! Would definitely recommend checking this place out, especially if you’re already on your way to Wal-​Mart!

I won’t say names but this place is a rip off. The lady who did my nails was pregnant (not a good look) she kept having to stop to pee. One of her trips she did NOT wash her hands I had to request that she did so before going back to work on my nails.
First everything was going good until the actual powder process started (besides me asking her to clip and push back my cuticles and her completely ignoring the request.) she will not place powder all the way to the top of the nail bed. Nor did she go to the top or completely placing nail polish on the sides of my nails.
Now the design was half ass done and rushed and the other part of the design did not resemble the zebra pattern at all (it was diagonal lines). The cheetahs design was on point. Lastly we come to the gel part… AGAIN she did not put the gel all the way to the top of my nail bed… so basically since I’ve spoken to others who have come here and refuse to come back due to all the craziness, they Make your nails look nice but like you already need a fill even tho you just got them done.
Not a good experience at all.

Love getting my nails done here. I can always go a month or more. And they take their time but not too long. I hate getting my nails done other places because they take so long. But I usually come in after work 6pm and I’m done by 6:45 or 7. Depending on what I need to be done: D I’m happy with my nails and people always ask about them!

Love this place nails last me a lil over month and they have great service and a lot of different designs to choose from

eyebrow wax — 5 stars!
For just $ 9 you can get a great eyebrow wax. I forgot the name of the lady who did mine but she was the younger one out of the two women there. She pays close attention to detail and really takes her time with tweezers at the end. It’s definitely a no-​frills kind of salon-​they seat you in a corner of the salon in an office chair. I really don’t mind it though, especially because she does such a great job!
nails — 3 stars
The reason why I give 3 stars is because the facilities are not as clean as other salons Ive been to, like Nails 2000 plus (my usual place). I paid $ 28 for Shellac and a little after a week I began seeing air bubbles under some portions of my nails which usually means that they will chip! Shellac usually lasts me at least a solid two weeks.
I think I’ll be back again for eyebrows but might consider other salons for my nails.

Who would have thought that a nail salon would be inside a Walmart? But I got to tell you this place is awesome. Is very clean and the people are very nice! The best part is your get to people watch while getting your nails done. I won’t go to any other place now. Best pedicure I’ve had!

I’m pretty sure this nail salon is located inside the walmart. well. i think they did a good job when it comes to putting the nail polish on. but… 1 huge problem that i have is. i usually go to nail salons to clean my nails and to make it look neat. they dont clean up ur nails for u. they do it like ½ way. then they’re like okay! Done! Put on nail polish, u wont see the dirt anymore. erm. eww? I go home and i have to clean up my own nails. $ 25 down the drain…

I’ve stopped by here as a «oh shit walmart PLUS nail place in one spot? hell yea convenience!»
I’ve gotten a spa manicure+pedicure for I forget how much, but I remember it was pretty cheap. Probably to be consistent with all the Walmart shoppers ha ha no offense intended
The chairs and water bath is not as comfortable as some of the other salons, but i mean you get what you pay for. Its not bad, just mediocre. I like how they do my nails and my french manicure actually stayed on for about a week straight with no chips. Pretty good!
Theres one guy that works there and hes kinda rough — so just wait for a lady to do it.
Nowadays ever since my new gel craze I’ve been only coming here to get my eyebrows waxed. The VERY nice lady Jenny here is extremely good at waxing your eyebrows. She is also very nice and seems to always ask me if I’m Vietnamese (hopefully she doesn’t talk shit when I say no) since she doesn’t remember me. But I love the way she does my eyebrows and she is very quick and professional with it. It didnt hurt at all!
From now on, I only come here when I need my eyebrows done or if im passing by to get stuff at Walmart. Not bad for a place inside Walmart!

They do a great job. A little on the slow side but HEY, you cant rush perfection, right? Also clean and reasonably priced. They take credit card but you cant tip with it so bring a little cash with you.

Da-​Vi nails is located in the Wal-​Mart on Shawline. I can’t say much for their nail care (I do my mani/​pedis myself), but it looks pretty standard for a basic nail shop, run by Vietnamese techs. They have the big chairs with whirlpool tubs for your pedicures, and do acrylics.
I am a regular customer for their eyebrow waxing — there is only one lady on staff that does it (I believe she is the owner?) — and she is fantastic. For only $ 9 you get a great waxing — she pays close attention to giving you an attractive eyebrow shape, and is always very careful with the post-​wax tweezer clean-​up. Since I found her (on a friend’s recommendation) in 2008, I haven’t seen anyone else!
One star less for some inconvenience and lack of a really relaxing atmosphere (it is in the entrance of a Wal-​Mart, after all) — although they take reservations, I’ve never tried — usually just stopping by and seeing if she can fit me in.
