Love! My favorite launch ever! Easy, clean, safe! We always launch out of here unless we are North.,

Favorite spot for Sea World’s fireworks This is one of the best locations to watch Sea World’s summer fireworks shows in San Diego. Drive to the northwestern edge of the property where you will find a dead end for the best views of the five-minute evening display. Parking on the curb is permissible until 10pm every night; otherwise, there are plenty of spaces in the parking lot, just do not park in stalls for RVs and trailers only. From the shoreline, the fireworks barge is about 200 yards away, bringing you about as close to the explosions as possible. This is the link to the show schedule: . If you want to have a bonfire and make an evening of it, head to Fiesta Island instead: there are fire rings dotting the beach with equally fine views of the bay and firework show.

This is by far my favorite ramp so far. It has a nice, wide 10-lane ramp and 2 spacious docks. There is a HUGE parking lot with plenty of spots.(warning: avoid during OTL becuase they use this parking lot as overflow). Easy access from I-5 via Sea World Drive. I’ve been here a dozen or more times mostly on weekends and have never had a problem with it being crowded. There are updated restroom facilities and(outdoor) showers. But as with most of the public ramps, no boat washdown. There’s a nice gazebo-thingy on the opposite side of the basin that is nice for picnics or parties. One down side for some might be that the whole channel leading in/out along Sea World is 5MPH limit, so it takes a while to get in and out of, but I personally don’t mind that(less crazy jet-skiers). Added bonus, you can swing by and see the Penguins chillin and wave to tourists in the sky buckets.(the kids love that).
