Sliced Pizza

I had a chance to try Sliced Pizza at my friends wedding reception. There food was fantastic and the guys were personable! They started off with some appetizers; caprese skewers, pulled chicken sliders that were to die for, and a fruit and cheese platter. The pizza was the highlight of the reception, I had a chance to chat with one of the guys and they informed me they handmake their own dough balls in small batches with flour imported from italy. Quality ingredients, wide variety of delicious pies and the pizza literally pizza melted in my mouth. The food is immaculate and I will be booking them in the future for my events!

Being a Jersey Girl… I know good pizza & Sliced has GREAT pizza! Sliced employees have awesome customer service & they definitely put 110% into each pizza. They have so many styles of pizza that everyone will be satisfied! I’d recommend Sliced a million times over to everyone!!!

The pizza are fantastic, I’ve had a lot of pizza in my time but these fresh pies are simply amazing. The guys making pizza are having fun and they make the atmosphere pretty cool. Thanks again, I look forward to having some more delicious pizza soon!

These folks came out to our complex for an evening and made some outstanding pizza. We were basic and just ordered a $ 10 standard cheese pizza. We loved it. Being an Italian-​American and a New Yorker, I feel expertly qualified to judge pizza and these caterers win my vote. The thin crust was both crisp with just the slightest bit of doughy-​ness left (perfect), the brick oven gave it that perfect char, the sauce complementary and not the man in feature, the cheese melted perfectly… Mangia!
The pizza is small but it’s $ 10 and it fed my wife and I and even my baby whites a slice for dinner.
The service was friendly — and they will text you when the pizza is done.

One word: AMAZING! Was visiting a friend in San Diego and happened to see the truck (which is way cool) by her apartment. We decided to check it out and were more than pleased. Pizza was done quickly and tasted great. Wish I had one of these at home.

Best wood fired pizza in San Diego. My first experience at Sliced was at Bolt Brewery and I grabbed a business card because why not? I told my boss about the mobile wood fired oven and my company hired Sliced for a private luncheon a couple weeks later and the pizza was phenomenal yet again. The dough, sauce and toppings were all on point. Pizza aside, the owner, James and his employees were super friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for someone to do a work luncheon or private catering gig.

Got dinner at Sliced when they came over to my sister’s apartment complex. Interesting concept of a «mobile wood fired pizza oven.» We had the NorCal and Steak pizzas along with an order of the Garlic sticks. The pizza guys were quick to take my order and I got to watch as they cooked our pizzas in their wood oven. Very good — would definitely eat again. NorCal and garlic sticks were good, but the steak pizza was the bees-​knees!

This place is no joke! The pizza is DELICIOUS and the main guy James is super friendly and easy going! I had the opportunity to try the pizza at my apartment community and it BLEW MY MIND. The combination of flavors and the fire oven makes for a truly amazing combination. (I tried the pesto pizza and a sausage, pep, and mushroom). And I’m not usually a thin crust fan but the way this pizza is I can’t find anything wrong with it! Im going to make a point to find where Sliced is and be there! I’m also going to reach out to my work and see if it’s possible to get them for our lunch hour!

This pizza is incredible. These guys came out to a brewery that my fiancé and I came to over the weekend and I was blown away. Pizza and beer? I can’t think of a more perfect combination. My fiancé and I split a pizza and it was perfect for the both of us. We got a steak and blue cheese pizza and it was incredible. The toppings were amazingly put together and the ingredients were impeccable. I talked to the owner a bit and found out they also do catering, company parties, and schedule food truck appearances at other local breweries. The pizza came out fast and was piping hot. Everybody at the brewery seemed happy– I would definitely recommend them to anybody thinking of catering a large crowd that loves good pizza.

Only one word to describe my experience, shambolic! They turned up at my apartment complex, thought it was a good idea for a quick dinner. I was told our order of two pizzas would be ready in 20mins, 30mins later still no pizza in sight. Once received it wasn’t what we ordered, one pizza was without pepperoni but with mushrooms. I specifically asked for no mushrooms due to a food allergy. Couldn’t eat the pizza and they had run out of dough so couldn’t make another one. Didn’t ask for a refund, had already been down to their site twice, wasn’t going back again. Will give them a wide berth in future.

These guys make Neapolitan pizza in a 800 degree wood fire oven. Saw them at my apartment complex and decided to give them a try and was not disappointed. I got the cheesy garlic stix and they were delicious. Also got the roasted garlic, pepperoni and mushroom pizza, and was amazing! The guys were very accommodating, It was cold outside and raining and they offered me some shelter inside the canopy by the fire. Awesome service and food, thanks guys!

These guys are great. We hired them to cater our holiday staff party. They showed up early to get the brick oven super hot (900 degrees!). We selected the 4 pizzas we wanted them to make and our staff could go up and choose one of the 4 pizzas we had preselected. They made all the pizzas ahead of time and then when someone ordered they could throw them in the oven for a minute and they were done.
This pizza was delicious! All of the staff are still raving about how delicious it was. We had 75 pizzas made and these guys did a great job of getting them all out.
Great job all around and I highly recommend them for event, wedding, party catering if you are down for some delicious pizza.

Being from the East Coast, I tend to have a high threshold of what I consider «quality» pizza (I know this sounds snobby, but this tends to be true for most East Coast pizza lovers). I had a chance to try Sliced when I was visiting San Diego and I was open-​minded about it, given I was much closer to Mexico than I was to New York. That said, I played it safe and ordered the Pesto and pepperoni pizza. To my surprise, the pizza was not only delicious but I was informed the ingredients were made from scratch and local as well… The roasted tomatoes were also a nice touch, they easily could’ve cheaped out and just used a thicker sauce but I’m glad they went the extra mile. These things considered, this is something you usually find in a typical sit-​down restaurant so I was pretty impressed by their efforts. Overall, I would recommend Sliced if you’re looking for a quality pizza-​even if you have high «East Coast pizza standards» like myself.

Without a doubt some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! Super fresh ingredients, and an awesome crust. It’s obvious the owner/​chef has put a lot of time and effort in perfecting his recipes, plus nothing is better then quality pizza made to order from a wood fired oven

I was minding my own business during the centennial fair and I could hear Disclosure playing. I followed the music and found myself at this cute little pizza oven truck. I wasn’t hungry at the time, however I decided to order a piece of pizza since it looked soo good. I’m glad I did! Favorite part of the pizza was the sauce, it tasted very fresh. All ingredients were of high quality and the pizza came out perfectly. Pepperoni was delicious, didn’t taste processed like other pizza chains I go to. 5 stars for the food and another star for playing good music. Nicely done Sliced Pizza, hope to run into you again!

Pizza done right. I had sliced at the San Diego bay fair festival and loved it.
First of all, I’m a crust guy. It was not too thick, not to thin, and the wood fire oven makes it a little crispy on the outside and hot and fluffy in the middle. Just the way it should be.
B. I feel like the owner is a generous guy because of the way he hands out the cheese. Mother Teresa would be proud.
Lastly, the sauce. That’s the secret to a great pizza, right? Well I don’t know what Sliced uses but it’s damn good.
Overall great pizza and well worth trying out
