Hello! We are Abigail and Justin and we proudly own and operate ShutterBooth San Diego. The social scene here in San Diego is thriving and we are are so excited to offer such a unique and entertaining experience.

This San Diego girl met a Southern charmer shortly after a public declaration of swearing off dating for ten years. He wooed me like no other man has ever attempted and I was taken by this romantic, chivalrous gentleman. Besides, how could he resist my bubbly personality and infectious laugh? Over a year later, he surprised me with the most incredible date that included a helicopter ride, sparkling cider and fruit sitting beach side at sunset, a pair of diamond earrings, and to top it off, Justin asked me to marry him. Four months later we said, «I do.»

A good friend offered to set up her photo booth at our wedding as a gift. I had no idea what to expect and the ShutterBooth quickly became the hit of the reception. Our guest chose the ShutterBooth over the bar.

We used shutter booth San Diego for our wedding in January 2015, and were glad that we did. It was a real hit! We took some time selecting a photo booth as some look like they are homemade and when you get inside you feel like they’re going to fall apart… not with shutter booth San Diego! Their photo booths look professional, the props are good, the staff are nice and friendly and the photos turn out well too. To top it of, Abigail is so nice to work with. amazing customer service. Thank you Abigail for bringing such a fun element to our wedding! :)

We chose to use Shutterbooth for our wedding at the San Diego Botanic Gardens on October 11, 2013. I’m so glad we did! It was a last minute decision. We had heard of them through the Del Mar Bridal Bazaar. It was so much fun! All of our guests had a blast. The 2 girls running it were very helpful too. You can print a bunch of copies, and look at them all online after the fact. Definitely glad we chose to use them for our wedding!

Worst photobooth ever. Props were fun but quality of photos they printed were all blurry. Sad the bride and groom spent $ on these guys.

I had Shutterbooth at my wedding on 7÷28÷13 and it was such a hit! I can’t imagine not having Shutterbooth at my reception. Being able to use a bunch of silly props and cram in there with a group of people is so much fun. It was also great seeing aunts, uncles, grandmas, etc. in there having a great time… I guess photo booths bring that out of people haha. We got a package that included a guest book with strips of everyone’s photos and it’s one of my favorite wedding keepsakes; looking through there is hilarious! Shutterbooth was professional and easy to work with. Highly recommend having them at your wedding! Keep a lookout for deals; I booked them on «Cyber Wednesday» last year and got it for around half off.

Abby and Justin are THE BEST !! We will be using them at our non-​profit Dog Carnival on 10÷28÷12 !! I will be back to update this review AFTER the event, but I could not have IMAGINED better customer service then they have provided so far !! Immediate response to requests for information and willingness to work within our budget was key to us with our event only 6 weeks away. SO EXCITED to see the fun this booth will generate !!

Like dude, WHERE ARE THE WORDS to express the sheer magnitude of the awesomeness that is ShutterBooth?!
First off, Abigail is a TOTAL doll & sweetheart! And worked with me last minute into the game (the week of my wedding) without giving me the slightest hint of stress or «Do I have to?!»
The value I got for the price, unbeatable. And she really worked with me & my situation to make that a possibility, just cuz I couldn’t afford much, it wasn’t like «Oh, well here’s a disposable camera & some hand drawn props by my 2 yr old nephew» I still got all the fun & glam of the photobooth experience.
I also love how EVERYTHING is included in the price qouted to you… It’s not like «Book now & it’s _​_​_​_​!» Only to find out how much later «Oh, & there’s a $ 200 delivery & set up fee» & then much later «And don’t forget to include the $ 75 clean up fee» The quote I was given during our meeting was IT, no hidden fees, or unecessary charges as an excuse to get more money out of you. AND I love how everyone got hardcopies of the wedding, including myself. Some companies I looked up were asking just as much, but would only give you a CD to take home, nothing to be printed out then & there.
It was a BIG hit at the wedding! I love how the pictures take only a few seconds to print (versus the ten years you wait when you take one at the SD County Fair), my guests got to have as many copies of a certain picture they wanted, & I also got a set of each one for myself in a scrapbook they made on site. The attendant was also super sweet, she was also incredibly patient with what few kids were at my wedding that COULD NOT STOP taking pictures, cuz it was THE BEST THING EVERRR!!! She even asked if I still wanted to keep pasting their pictures in my scrapbook, haha! Which was fine with me, & the end product is an awesome compliation of my guests letting their hair down (which was a rare moment for some) & getting to see other sides of their personality.
If ever I’m planning an event that involves that kind of a budget (not just $ 100 for chips, soda & hot dogs) I will most definitely book them again!

Abigail Tanner and ShutterBooth were at a Christmas party I attended with my girlfriend last week. The booth was really cool and classy and the pictures we took came out great. Remember the old photo booths that took grainy B&W pics that took forever to develop? Nothing like this. The pics are high quality color prints and the came out quick. Also, Abigail had a table set up with costumes you could wear in the photos. Very fun and Abigail was great. Highly recommend her for your parties.

We won shutterbooth’s grand prize of 200 save-​the-​dates at the Carlsbad bridal show in September. We got to visit them at their studio and we had A BLAST while taking our photos. Shutterbooth San Diego was a great addition to our wedding on August 13th at The W Hotel. Our guests loved taking photos both groups and as couples and the owners, JT and Abby were super friendly and extremely helpful in the planning and organizing of our event. Because the guests take their photos home, its a great reminder of our wedding and we are able to see everyone’s photos too in the album we made. I highly recommend them for weddings or other events!
