Sean Haffey is amazing! And amazingly talented! Wow– I don’t even know where to begin…
After my husband proposed a yeah and a half ago the Wedding planning nightmare began. I had countless pieces of advise and recommended vendors flying my way, without ever asking and was feeling pretty overwhelmed with the whole process of planning all the elements of a Wedding. Needless to say, you put on your big girl panties and have to start somewhere right?
So we did, a girlfriend of mine had recommended Sean Haffey, she gotr married the previous year and sent me to his website after showing me some of her wedding pictures. WOW was I impressed– after all… I did have about 15 other recommendations from other friends and did do my due diligence in researching their work and photography. I LOVED my girlfriends pictures and those I saw on Sean;s Website, but thought wow– this must be a pricey. So I started pricing some of the others recommendations we had out and realized that they were all about the same range– and Sean’s quality was much superior based on what i had seen AND even better priced than some of the other high end photographers we had categorized his work into.
Anyway– we met with Sean and it was perfect! He is laid back, yet extremely passionate about his work– and you can just tell «everything will be just fine» with him. We looked at some of his work and really got to know one another in the process. Our engagement session felt more like a day on the town and we got some absolutely amazing pictures out of it! Sean drove us to several different locations around downtown and knew exactly the «secret spots» to capture the essence of San Diego City life and the relationship my husband and I share.
We looked forward to each meeting with Sean and had a true respect and trust for hiim and his work that we never once worried about our pictures. This saved me a ton of sanity beign able to fully «let go» and let the expert take over!
Our Wedding day was just as perfect– we had met with Sean a few times in between to look at the engagement session and plan out the Wedding. We didn’t want to take a lot of time posing for pictures and liked that Sean’s style is more candid– which really worked out as we have some AMAZING pictures that were taken fro him being int he right place at the right time. He really went the extra mile to rush through the list of «must have» posed pictures with family so my husband and I could get to the cocktail hour ASAP– while still capturing the best pictures either of us have ever taken in our lives.
I can’t imaging not having Sean Haffey do our photography and recommend him wholeheartedly! Thanks to Sean my husband and I have become a little narcissistic in looking at pictures of ourselves over and over again… for better or worse :)

If you want your wedding pictures to look they came right out of a magazine, go with Sean, seriously, this guy is truly a world class photographer. My wife and I went to our friends wedding a while back with Sean as the photographer, after seeing his pictures we really didn’t have a choice but to go with him for our wedding, if you check out his website I’m sure you’ll say the same. Sean took our «engagement» pictures at the beach, which turned out great. He brought his underwater camera housing and swam out to shoot us sitting on our surfboards right at sunset, this kind of gives you an idea of the caliber of photographic awesomeness Sean dishes out. With our engagement pictures he designed our announcement cards and a sign in guest book which were both beautiful. Of course, Sean took amazing pictures at our wedding, he also designed thank you cards and a wedding book for us that were also unreal. On top of all that, Sean is very nice and gets along with everyone, for us, this proved priceless considering we had two-​hundred thirty crazy friends and family. Hey Sean, thanks for taking such good care of us, you rock!!!

We met with Sean when we learned that friends of ours were using him for their wedding. We saw their engagement shoot and knew we’d made the right decision. Sean took outstanding pictures of our wedding and of our engagement shoot, too. He took the time to get to know us, and understand what type of pictures we want to have to remember our special moments. He’s gone above and beyond any other vendor who was involved in our wedding, and his attention to detail and planning ahead makes all the difference. By all accounts of our friends and family, the pictures he took capture «us», both as a couple and as individuals. His work will help us remember the best of our wedding. Definitely a great investment!

Sean far exceeded our already high expectations. We could not be happier with the incredible photos we now have for the rest of our life.
Not only did Sean’s personality mesh very well with ours, but his knack for capturing our personality as a couple came through in each photo. He really sees the «moment» very well and captures it with his camera. Not to mention how well he keeps his cool during the Chaos! =)
Sean’s «photojournalistic» approach to shooting the wedding really captures the spirit of every portion of the wedding day. From the intimate set up to the all out celebration, there wasn’t a moment or emotion lost from any of our photos.
Sean’s Engagement photo session also produced some of our favorite and most cherished «couple» photos.
