Cupcake Concepts offers a unique dessert experience in San Diego where the customers themselves can customize their own cupcakes.

More than the Bottom Line

Twenty five cents of each cupcake sold goes back to a non-​profit organization. Cupcake Concepts also allows customers the freedom to choose from a list to where these donations go. When catering, the person purchasing the cupcakes would pick one non-​profit organization for the funds are distributed to.

Local Friendly

It is important to support local businesses, just like us. Not only does it allow people to keep their jobs from being lost to bigger companies, it saves on the cost of gas from shipping the product across the country. In an effort to provide the best cupcake possible, we also want to make sure the people growing our produce actually care about their product, rather than a machine picking and packaging our products.

History

Established in 2009.

I have always loved baking cupcakes & I love the feeling of making others happy. However, when I baked &frosted my cupcakes, I found it hard to accommodate all the requests from friends for different types of cupcakes. I wanted to find a solution for these problems.

I also wanted to create a company that gave back to others who help serve those in need; I wanted to create a company that was more involved with the community that just making the bottom line.

I kept baking & perfecting the different cupcake recipes & having my friends taste & pair them with different toppings. I continued to do catering events in order to perfect my catering & customer service skills.

My hope is that I will be able to develop my customer base& with hard work and dedication, be able to open a retail store that customers can come to on a daily basis and develop their own cupcake creations by themselves or with some friends.
