Funny seeing all these comments about ‘reliable’. I purchased a groupon in January 2015 and tried to book right away. They told me I couldn’t book more than 2 months in advance. I then called back 2 months before my date and they told me that their car is no longer working because of «mechanical problems» and that there was nothing they could do for me. They then told me that I could just go ahead and call groupon to ask about refund options. I had already purchased the groupon and they told me there’s nothing they could do for me? Really disappointed with this place.

What a SCAM! I called them to schedule a ride for a Groupon offer in May of 2015 (six months in advance) and all but two of the dates I asked for were «already booked.» They then said they would call me back to schedule me, but when they called back they told me they now had a «new policy» to only schedule two weeks in advance. So even though they were supposedly booked six months into the future, I would not be able to reserve a date until two weeks before my event — at which point they will tell me they are completely booked. I asked to speak to a manager, because none of this made sense and they said to send an email. It’s been a week and I have had no response to my email or to the message I left. Don’t buy the Groupon and don’t use Seal Transportation.

I contacted this company for a limo rental for my daughter’s 8^th birhday party. They advertised on Groupon and I contacted them directly about availability and what not and was able to secure what I felt was a fairly good deal for a limo rental for 4 hours. The telephone customer service was very good and the limo driver showed up on time! However, THE LIMO!!! The limo looked as if it had been in a shoot out. One window was completely cracked, there were scratches all over the outside, the air conditioning didn’t work, the inside plastic pieces were falling apart, one window was stuck down (blew us out of our seats), the disco lights didn’t work (disappointing for kids), and they stocked this limo with probably 20 bottles of HOT water. This water had to have been sitting in the sun all day (no ice either).
We went to a laser tag facility and played laser tag. Afterwards we waited for over 20 minutes for the driver to return. After we had dinner, we went outside to the car and the driver was not in the car. We waited 10 minutes for him to return. So out of the four hour rental, ½ hour was spent WAITING for the driver we hired… Had this party been for anyone but 8 year old kids, I would have been embarassed as the host. This limo needs to be RETIRED. I contacted Seal to have them ignore me for two weeks. It was only when I threatened to offer my review that they contacted me and offered me 30% off an airport ride… I told the nice lady (customer sevice good), that I didn’t care about discounts or money, but that they needed to not use this car, or understand that they have to inform people they are renting a piece of garbage. Anyhow, perhaps their airport service/​town car service is exceptional, as the other reviews suggest, but I would hesitate before spending money on a limo, unelss you don’t mind a Sanford and Son one…

Seal transportation did a great job getting me to and from the airport. Very friendly and helpful with my mother who had just been released from the hospital. Would use them again.

I exclusively use Seal Transportation to go to the airport. I travel weekly and solely use them because they are reliable, courteous and professional. They are punctual and get me to the airport in time. I have been extremely happy with their service and rates.

Seal is an excellent, reliable company that we have used exclusively for airport service for over a year. Between my husband and myself, we go to and from the airport many times over the year, and Seal has never disappointed us. They have been prompt, courteous, and very reliable from the beginning, when we bought an online voucher to try their service. We will continue to use them.

Honestly the best, most reliable car service in town! I’m a frequent traveler and have been using them for over a year now for airport transportation. They’re always on time and always friendly and always professional. I love the convenience of booking and paying for everything upfront online. Using them is just one less worry I have when I’m traveling, and who doesn’t want that?!

By far the most reliable car service I’ve used! I often leave for the airport very early in the morning and they never keep me waiting. I also appreciate that they call or text to confirm they’re going to arrive on time. The cars are extremely clean and the drivers are pleasant and professional — I highly recommend!!!

We booked Seal to take us to the airport after Yellow cabs had let us down on 3 different occasions. We have now used them twice. Seal’s car was on time, or even early, but the driver has never been impatient. The drivers were courteous and very helpful. The ride cost a little more than a taxi, but the whole experience was ten times better. The advantage of Seal is that you can book online, and you know in advance exactly how much the ride will cost — even including the tip. Like any limousine service, booking in good time is highly recommended. We will certainly use them for future trips to and from the airport.

Used the company for roundtrip service to/​from the airport and everything went smoothly. This truly took the stress out of traveling, and I definitely recommend Seal Transportation. This was my second time using Seal to get to the airport and both times were excellent. This was the fastest, smoothest ride and the most courteous service I’ve gotten from any taxi company. I’ve recommended them to friends. Only thing that could make them better is if they were a little cheaper, although they cost about as much as any taxi we’ve taken to the airport.

I had a GREAT experience with Seal. I booked my trip from clairmont to the airport and a return trip 4 days later on line. They responded to my questons with in 24 hours and I had reservations right away. The morning of my departure they called me about 10 minutes before they arrived to let me know when they would be there. The driver was very friendly and proffessional, the car was very nice, clean and comfortable. It had bottled water waiting for us and the town car was white, which was sharp! When we were returning from our trip the driver called us as soon as we landed to ask when we would like him to arrive. He was very prompt and friendly. I will use this car service again and again. Its a great value for your money.

We had a great experience with Seal Transportation. They transported us round trip to the airport. They were timely and courteous! We plan on using their services again.

My experience with Seal Transportation did not resemble the prior reviewers. First, I live in Clairemont, which is within the limits of the Living Social voucher. Musa, the owner, was courtesy, responsive, on-​time and a pleasure to deal with. I plan to use Seal Transportation again for a ride to the airport. I have already passed along their name/​number to my friends and neighbors.

Exactly the same experience as the previous reviewer — called to make a reservation after buying my Amazon voucher, was told I was «out of area» — am West of SDSU, but apparently that’s not «Mission Valley» — then was told «Oh, we’re really busy, we can’t take you to the airport that day, how about the next day?» Um, no.

Please be aware of this «deal» They claim to give you transportation all over «San Diego County» but after you purchase the voucher and when you call, THEY decide that you are out of the area!!! Wasting your time and now trying to get a refund that you wont get back for 3 – 4 DAYS! Then wasn’t even willing to live up to false advertsing. Thanks Seal Transportation!
