This is a tough one. I’ll start by saying I’ve purchased 4 vehicles from these guys.
The last one is the straw that broke the camels back.
I was in the market for an F350 with a dump bed. Saw one on their site and went to take a look. The truck seemed to be in good shape, although you can tell they did a cheap re-​spray paint job and did a bad job of removing the old «city of carlsbad» logo on the door.
The test drive went ok and we made a deal on the truck. Of course as soon as we got back on the freeway, the steering wheel started shaking violently, a term they call «death wobble». The truck was shaking so bad we nearly lost control. I drove the truck directly to Trueline in El Cajon.
I called the dealership and of course they stated «dozens of people drove the truck with no problem» and «the truck passed a safety inspection». Total bullshit. When I pressed them for a written inspection, they could not produce one. I’m curious who is doing their inspections.
Trueline called the next day with an extensive list of items that were wrong with the truck. The 2 front tires were oval. The tie rods were shot and the shocks were worn. There was also a flat tire on the inside on the dually in the back. No chance this truck would have passed a legit safety inspection.
I ended up paying 2k out of pocket on the truck. After threatening the dealer, the finally paid me $ 600.00, which turned into $ 500.00 because they has underestimated the registration fees when I bought the truck. They should have covered more and they would have had a repeat client.
Bottom line is, these guys do get some low mileage fleet serviced trucks. If you decide to look at one, test drive it thoroughly and make them provide a legit safety inspection. After that, thoroughly examine every aspect of the vehicle and have a mechanic check it out.
These guys are only in the industry to buy vehicles at auction and flip them as cheaply as possible, with bad customer service.

What a f###ing joke of a place. No one will talk to you, no one came outside to help me, didn’t even have the respect to look up from their desk when I was asking about a specific truck. I had cash in hand ready to buy a truck for work, and after getting the cold shoulder from these «salesmen» I ended up leaving. Go here not to buy a truck, but to get a good laugh at how poor their customer service is.

No wonder they have 1 star reviews! Talk about being grumpy with a bad attitude! I arrive around 8:50am to check out the truck I was interested. I called to get price and details on truck they told me the price and that they will arrive at 9am. Mike arrive at 9:10am (no biggie), advice as a business owner its always good to arrive 30−1hr to prepare and open store for customers that may arrive exactly at 9am! I know is just 10min but he also arrive with a bad attitude. As he was walking toward the store to open it I said «Good Morning Sir», he just look at me and didn’t say a word just walk right pass me. I said to myself ok maybe his having a bad day, As I walk inside the office and told him I was interested in the FORD E-​350 Box Truck, Mike reply WHICH TRUCK! yelling at me as if I did something wrong. I ask him for the keys to check out the truck (he didn’t event mind showing us the truck) and it didn’t event turn on. Battery was dead! How do you expect to sell a truck if it cant event turn on! I called his partner to get more info since Mike seem very mad and grumpy about asking him questions about the truck. I received even worse customer service from his partner he did even want us to provided his name to us after I told him we were very interested in the truck. WORST CUSTOMERS SERVICE I HAVE REIVED IN MY LIFE!!!

awful service, as branch manager of a construction supply company, I have never been more irritated with someone, and it was a total 15 second conversation. Upon handing him my business card, he said nothing and turned around and closed the door on me. Contacted BBB as well. Good looking trucks, terrible, terrible management ownership sales whatever you want to call it

The owner is by far the rudest, most mean-​spirited human being I’ve ever met. I’ve never come so close to punching someone I just met before. Not even kidding.
