For many years and many complete sets of tires for not only my personal cars, but all my friends and random strangers, and just recently, my momma, I have nothing but major kuddo’s for not only my «go to» guy George (Jorge), but I also deal with Eddie occasionally, as well. There’s not enough positive words to choose from the thesaurus to explain how well the entire crew has handled all my tire needs. I was just there a few days ago, with my best friend, and there was some reluctancy about his going there because he has always dealt personally with another local facility, and now he’s sold on this great company as well. He wasn’t feeling warm and fuzzy about the young man that assisted us that day, as George and Eddie were unavailable at the actual time we showed, but, by the time all said and done, he’s very happy with how everything turned out. And he’s about the pickiest car owner there is… Great job, well done, with, just, everything team! Looking forward to getting a new set of shoes for my Bimmer next week!

I was heading actually to other place just stopped to ask for a way to get there but they convinced me to stay, everyone were sooo cool and nice! Recomend this place for sure!

Was referred here by a friend. Originally came to compare prices with a few other shops but after talking to Eddie and getting not only great customer service but the best deal ive seen so far. I was in n out in maybe 30 minutes! Ill be back for sure!

First off I’d like to say thank you to Bryan who help me out the entire way, and helped me find the perfect wheels and tires for my truck. I walked in thinking it would be a week before I could have the work done. They had exactly what I wanted in stock and I was out the door shortly after that. The whole crew is amazing and seem to really have fun at work which really make you feel they truly care about your vehicle. Hands down best attitudes in the automotive industry. Also helps they know every shop in town and recommends great deals to other shops!

Had to come back because my tire was flat again, due to a crack in the base of the air stem.
They had it fixed and I was on my way in less than 15 minutes. These guys are awesome!!!

2^nd time I bought wheels and tires from these guys and I am a customer for life. Eddie and the guys are an awesome team and super helpful. They truly have the best prices on wheels, even over eBay.

I was referred to this place by a friend who told me that they do the job in no time so I went there today on Saturday they had only two cars and I simply asked for a nail to be removed out of my tire they made me wait a half an hour and the car was still lifted up and nobody worked on it so I simply asked the gentleman on the counter can I get please my keys in my car back because I don’t have more time to waste I have remove nails before and it only took 5 to 10 minutes so he walked to the workshop as the oriental guy to Drive the car out the guy was kind of angry driving my car and you can see the anger on his face, just like if I was the one who treated them bad.

Got a great deal on new tires, which I desperately needed this week when El Nino hit. Very nice staff. I will definitely come back here the next time I need new tires.

Outstanding service and price!
We needed specialized low rolling resistance tires for our hybrid. Jorge found them and placed his order, and the next day the tires were on the car — balanced and fitted with new pressure monitors. I watched, and was impressed with the speed and professionalism of the team.
Jorge then took my own tire pressure gauge and calibrated it against the garage’s professional one.
The price was ONE D* less than Costco or Evans. Amazing! They’ll do our cars from now on.

Bought 4 tires from them last week. I was quoted $ 220 each from Pep Boys. Got the same exact ones for just over $ 100 each from SD Tire and Wheel. From the time I drove up till the time I drove away, the whole process only took about 30 mins. Very, very pleased with the pricing and speedy service. Will be coming here for all my tire needs forever!

I didn’t buy any tires here, yet, and that is what’s great about this place.
I came in with a nail in one of my tires thinking that I’d need a new tire. The services people didn’t take advantage of me not knowing jack squat and told me that all I needed was a patch. Still not knowing jack and giving a blank stare they offered to patch up the whole, and give me a set of caps for my tires that I had misplaced.
A trip that I was expecting to cost some cash ended up with no bill at all, even after I offered to pay them something. They’ve definitely earned my future business and a solid review.

DO NOT GO HERE! DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE! Went here and got rims for my car, and couldn’t be more disgusted. After waiting a week, the rims that came in weren’t measured correctly. After waiting another week, I drove off their lot realizing my tire pressure sensor light was on and my steering wheel shook like a hula-​hoop. Returning to have it fixed, They had me wait hours just to tell me they didn’t have the parts to do the job. Returning again, they had me wait hours to put on sensors. Only to notice upon pickup that the owner is rude to her customers and doesn’t care about professional service. #DONOTGOHERE

I discovered over the weekend that my front tires were nearly bald and slightly peeling, so I was on the hunt for new tires ASAP. After doing some research I landed on a particular set of tires (Continental True Contact). I checked out
, Costco, and DiscountTire. Walmart had them on their website, but I would have to order them and have them shipped to Walmart; their cost was $ 12/​tire installed.
I found the rave reviews on Unilocal for San Diego Tire & Wheel Outlet and decided to get a quote from them. I spoke with Jorge had a great experience. He was chill, friendly and quick with communication. They didn’t have the tire available, but they were able to order and have it available the next day (I called around 8am Monday, they had them by 12:30pm Tuesday).
Installation was quick and expedient. Jorge said 45 mins to 1 hr; they had me out of there in 30 mins. They charged me $ 10/​tire for installation.
From shopping around, you generally can buy the actual tire cheaper from places like
or even
, but these guys have the best installation price that I could find. Quick communication and service made this a great experience.

From the time I stepped into the front office until I left with the wheels, customer service was excellent! Eddie did his homework and made sure I got the wheels and tires that would fit perfectly with my car and at an awesome price. This shop is highly recommended.

Fantastic service! Reasonable prices! I went in with my Mercedes with custom rims after getting the run around from Firestone, Evans tires and discount tires these guys had the right spacers for my rims and really took their time to take care of me and my baby. I’m going back for a new set of tires and they beat everyone’s prices!

I have been going here for years, since they had the other location. they are the cheapest in san diego for new tires. They always beat discount tire prices which is usually cheaper than more popular tire shops. They do a good job. The only problem i have with them is they are always busy. They get so much business. It takes time to get in there. But besides that they are the best shop in san diego when it comes to tires.

This place is awesome! I have been here before to get tires on my husbands car and even when I had flat. The customer service is excellent the guys here get you in and out in a timely manner. I have had Danny and Eddie both help me. I also don’t ever feel like they are trying to sell me on anything. They tell me what is best for my vehicle based off what I would like. I had Danny help me when I had my rims powder coated here (I had never heard of this before) Danny explained to me what it was and I was sold! If you like the rims you have I’d suggest it. I wanted my Jeep to have black matte rims and be able to keep the emblem along with it. I had no problem with the rims the vehicle came with so powder coating was a no brainer. This is my go to spot for any of my tire or wheel needs!

Went here after going to a few other shops that wanted to sell me a new rim ($ 350) because i had a slow leak that was driving me crazy.
They spent an hour trying to find the leak and could not find one, they put some bead sealer on the wheel and told me to come back if its still leaking and they will try something else.
Very friendly, no up sell attempts (didnt charge me anything). Great service and i will definitely be coming back when i need new tires or rims.

I previously went to the El Cajon location but that place is now closed. Service there was ok and the prices were good.
Fast forward 2yrs and now I need to replace my back tires. Started price comparison shopping with a few other tire places and SD Tire and Wheel was still the lowest, so I decided to give the Convoy location a try.
Spoke to Danny over the phone and he was very helpful. Came in on a Saturday afternoon and they were incredibly busy. I was greeted promptly Omar and he re-​evaluated the type of tires that were the best value for my car. I’m glad that the guys here didn’t try to up sell me on something that I didn’t need.
There was a long wait but thats to be expected on a Saturday afternoon. Even though it was extremely busy, all the guys here were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating to everyone that came in.
I’m all for supporting local businesses over corporate chains, especially if their customer service is good.

Great deal on a set of new XD rims for my truck. George was great!
It would have been a 5 star review, but after driving about 50 miles all but one of the bolts fell out of one of the center caps because they weren’t tightened all the way. Luckily someone on the freeway told me my center cap was falling off, or I might have lost it.

This place has done it again! I recently purchased purchased tires for my dads truck. The tires were on sale a few weeks ago but I was not ready to buy. I did called in for another quote and i mentioned they were just recently on sale and Danny said he would give it to me for that price!
I used to call around asking for prices. It’s always a good idea to shop around but I always get the best price here! I checked in Unilocal at their old location in El Cajon blvd for the $ 10 off discount. Danny still gave me the check in discount here as well as the cash discount!
I always recommend this place to family and friends. There’s no reason to go else where!

This place is def a repeat. Called a bunch of tire companies and spoke to Danny over the phone. Came in and not only did I get fast service, but I got a great price on the tires as well. Checked the prices online as he recommended some of the tires to me and saw that the deal they had was great and on top of that, there’s a 10 dollar off Unilocal checkin and 3% off if you use a debit or pay cash.
I told him the tires that Costco was recommending and I was def getting trolled over at Costco. I would recommend this place to anyone that needs service and a fresh set of tires.
