San Diego State Reserve Book Room

One thing I love about San Diego State University is there Reserve Book Room or now called ²⁴⁄₇ Study Area. You can bring your food, get some serious studying done, and literally sleep till the next morning. Heck, why not make this your second home? Just don’t forget your toothbrush and floss. However, this place gets filled during finals week and is closed during major holidays. I am happy to be an Aztec again. Whooo!

I love the RBR. It is basically my second home when finals roll around. I always manage to finagle myself a spot in the corner and can get someone to baby sit it while I’m in class. Oh, when I graduate, this will probably what I miss most about state, well, besides Peabody’s.

Reserve Book Room? I thought this place was my apartment through college and I just owned many leather bound books.
This place was a second home. Literally. Yes, literally. I’ve spent more nights over at the RBR than I have… well…I won’t get into it. You are the home of late night studiers and group projects; 1.5 liter bottles of water and snypered sandos. During finals you might as well be an outdoor music festival with people lying across the floor tripping on drugs.
I will thank you RBR for giving me a safe haven from the drunk, loud, dorms that I adored so much and being my moon shoes to success.

How I hate the RBR when it is full! Full of obnoxious bastards that is!
Go to the quiet study room if you wanna get some real studying done.
I’m glad it’s food friendly again, but I’ll keep going to the 3^rd floor of the Love Library since it won’t fill up as much and I can eat in peace. But why is it always hot in here? Ventilation please!

Oh Reserve Book Room, let me count the ways.
I have a love hate relationship with you Book room. You help me concentrate and study when my roommates are obnoxious and loud and I can’t study at home. You also reserve the books I need to succeed and help me get an education. You are always there for me, Book room, because you are open 24 hours a day 7 days week. You even give me a quiet study area, which I do most of my in between class sleeping in.
You even made it a food friendly area now, and I am relieved that the tall white haired hall monitor nazi can no longer tell me to throw my sandwich away.
Yes, I love you Book room but please tell the sorority girls who congregate for social hour and talk about their important outfit planning agendas to shut the hell up when a bitch is trying sleep.
