Established in 1972.

The San Diego Center for the Blind is the only program of its kind to provide independent living training for blind and vision-impaired adults in the entire San Diego region. The program is offered at no charge to our students and transportation is provided to and from classes. In 2010, we opened our Assistive Technology Center and Store. As a private, nonprofit 501© 3 organization, we are funded by contributions and bequests.
