We had a pleasant experience and it was a pleasure to work with Omar, the owner. Purchased 3 beautifully scrolled iron gates, which enhances the features of our home. Not only does this increase the value of our home but it is aesthetically pleasing as well. Time and again, we have received numerous compliments from our neighbors.
Omar took the time to draw out the details of our customized gates. I am thoroughly impressed with the hard work he put it in. He kept us in the loop throughout the process and installed our gates in a timely manner. Prices are reasonable and work is top notch. Highly recommended.

I contacted San Diego Iron Works to install a security gate around my front porch. The owner, Omar Ibarra came out quickly to measure and said that the project would take 2 weeks.
After about 3 – 4 weeks, Omar told me that he was coming out to fit the framing to make sure it all fit, but I don’t believe he ever came.
After several unanswered phone calls and another 2 weeks, he came out with the frame for the door and they did not fit. He said he would return the next day to complete the job
Another two weeks and TONS of unanswered phone calls… half of the job was done, and the other half that did not fit was propped against my house in the front yard.
Finally on the last day of the eighth week, I was fed up with not getting any phone calls back. I sent Omar a text and basically told him that if he did not install that day, I would hire someone to come out and remove the half that he installed and he could come pick up the pieces from my front yard.
I promptly got a call back and he installed it that day. He made some excuse about his father being a drunk and he didn’t want to deal with having to tell me that the work was not finished.
QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT INSTALLED
The door jams and the deadbolt gets stuck. The color was not the bronze that he described, it’s more black.
The pictures that he has on his website must from a catalog because the exact same photos are one another San Diego business website.
