Filthy place! I don’t know how anyone could give this place 5 stars… My bf actually bought a sandwich here and it wasn’t good! I wouldn’t I was to scared I might get sick.

Russo’s is your perfect local deli, tucked away in a cute corner of Shelter Island, they have the best sandwiches at the best prices, their sides are delicious and the ambience is relaxed and super friendly! Definitely a great breakfast, lunch or dinner choice!

By far NOT the best deli in San Diego. I’d rather have subway, than go back. To start off they didn’t have alot of the staples to make some of the sandwiches, The bread was dry and the girls were too busy complaining about people not tipping, they forgot to take the paper off the cheese on one of our sandwiches. You get to choose between bland macaroni or potato salad which tastes like noodles or potato in mayo.
Had high expectations reading all the reviews and we get a sub par deli sandwich. NOT worth the $ 17 we paid.
This place is just As ridiculous as the girls are that work there.

My hubby found this place when he was in TIC School for the Navy! We go as often as we can since we moved down to Chula Vista. This is by far the best service and food! We have loved everything we have tried here!!! The owner is such a sweet heart!!! Give it a try you won’t be disappointed!!!

Lady was very helpful and polite. Made my sandwich beautifully and didn’t make my pay until I was through. That was awesome, it’ll never happen at any other deli I GO TO. 5 stars!

Russo’s is awesome. Super good, healthy and filling. People are always nice. They give a military discount. The best little sandwich joint I’ve ever found. I highly recommend the San Diego Club, it’s my fav. If you’ve never been in it’s for sure worth trying.

this is the best deli in san diego! The sandwiches are made with love and look forward to seeing what the specials are each day– from chicken casserole to shephard’s pie to Taco Monday’s! Miki and Ashley are the best and make every customer who walks in feel welcome and like family! Definitely 5 stars!!!
