Sharon Widdop has been a paint color specialist for 15 years and specializes in those hard to define areas of California home architecture. Bringing together varying colors and hues, Sharon is an expert at highlighting and creating focal points with color and creating a design that draws you in, room by room, in anticipation of what’s around the corner.

History

Established in 1996.

Sharon Widdop began her design business as an extension of her lifelong passion for color and the arts. Originally known as S. Widdop Designs, Sharon has assisted hundreds of clients with paint color selection, decorative paint finishes, kitchen and bath remodels, space planning, and more! Upon relocating to Colorado in 2006, the business name changed to Rocky Mountain Color and Design, but Sharon maintains deep design roots as well as many clients in the San Diego County area.

Sharon was born with a crayon in one hand and a paint brush in the other! Having been an artist all her life, Sharon has been a business owner since 1982, beginning with a jewelry design business, working as a freelance project designer for Better Homes & Gardens books and publications, and finally settling in to her current interior design business. Having a love for nature and the environment, Sharon specifies environmentally friendly products whenever possible and believes strongly in re-​purposing existing items into newly designed spaces. Her passion is to bring «An Artful Life» to everyone through unique and affordable design solutions.
