Open late !!! That’s my favorite part, you don’t really get good quality food late at night so this is a great option for a late night snack if you are in the neighborhood !

Wow, I loved my vegetarian burrito. The highlights were the fresh tortilla(which I could have just eaten by itself) and the refried beans(which I also could have eaten a large bowl of). The rice must have been cooked perfectly because I never really noticed them and they let the beans shine. The ingredients were simple: great tortilla, refried beans, rice, pico, lettuce and guac. Rich with a touch of freshness. Perfection!

There are many variations on the name, Alberto’s, Adalbertos, Roalbertos, etc. but this is the one. The Número Uno, beef taco/cheeses enchilada combo is perfection.

So I went here a few times before the name change and the place was great. It is now called Rolando’s and provided the worst breakfast burrito I have ever had. The eggs tasted and looked like they were wet and fake. The bacon tasted like ham. The sour cream was a thin wet layer here and there — no big dollops and not sure it was sour cream or milk… The guy at the counter looked like he’d rather shoot himself than assist me. He spoke politely enough, but the look on his face spoke volumes. I will not go back.

The food was okay. I was hoping more for something a little more authentic. For some reason I was under the impression that this place was pretty cheap but it turned out to be a little pricy for the quality of food I would say. Place was pretty dirty. The guys that we’re working there were pretty nice though. Probably not something I would recommend to my friends and family.

Workers are fighting in front of you, they are rude and pretty scary almost threatening you. Got my food in 2 mins, but it was cold and uncooked, told the worker and he goes off on me. Don’t understand how that place is still not out of business with that kind of service. I’d give 0 stars if I could

Is it that hard to give customers the correct order when there are only two in the dining room? My bad for not checking the box before driving home.

This place is under new ownership and the name has changed to Rolandos; regardless, this Mexican restaurant is delicious and a great value.

Not really a bad place, they’re open pretty late, so that’s definitely a plus! I was feenin for some fish tacos and this place happened to have some. I got the fish taco and carnitas taco plate. I first ate the fish taco and it was actually pretty darn good! Slightly crispy and not dry at all. Super messy, which means it was good! The carnitas, however, tasted extra fatty. Not the good kind of fat, but the gross kind. I tried to put on more salsa to drown out the fat, but it didn’t work. If you’re in the mood for some late night eats and this is your only option, stay away from the carnitas!

This taco shop changed their name to, I think, Rolandos. Regardless, they are still my hommies! Prices are cheap! Very reasonable! Their food is delicious! I eaten Mexican food all over Clairemont, Kearny Mesa, Linda Vista area etc, and these guys make it right every time when it comes to my burritos and rolled tacos. Their red salsa is delicious too, not too spicy but a nice flavor that compliments the food. I’ve eaten at this restaurant for four years now and they have never disappoint me. Give them a try. They are open 24 hours now. :)

Back when this place was called Roberto’s(now it’s Rolando’s), I tried the infamous carne asade fries for the first time. Since then, I always come here to get their carne asada fries(which I like without sour cream). The workers there are really nice because they started to remember me after awhile, where I don’t have to tell them my order. Also, to kill time while waiting for your food(which comes out pretty quickly), there are arcade games that you could play.

This place blows. How do you F up Rolled tacos? Rolled Tacos — Undercooked, very undercooked, very little sour cream and guac. It didn’t matter because it all looked nasty. I can’t believe they would put out food like that. I love mexican food and taco shops. I don’t expect Iron Chef presentation or quality but compared to other places… Terrible Machaca Burrito and Taco — Why do you charge $ 1 for breakfast items? None of the 100 mexican joints in Poway area do this. These tasted mediocre. The Hot carrots are decent, that’s why they get that extra star. Keep driving down Convoy and about 1 stoplight later you will actually find good mexican food. Super Sergios is pretty bomb!

This place changed its name to Rolandos This place sucks… the rolled tacos are never cooked and luke warm… the burritos are average on their best day… The dummys that work there are not friendly and the service is bad. I get it that it is a mexican food take out restaurant, but that should tell you that they go out of their way to not be welcoming. If you go there, you will see… check the other reviews. I am not the only one to say this… There are better options out there for mexican food… Try: Super Sergios, or even the Carnival Supermarket(look it up)… bigger and better food…

This place sucks ass. Not because of the food, but the customer service. The guy was rude as hell telling us to hurry up. Thought he was joking at first but turns out he was serious. Bought carne asada fries and his cheap ass gave me 4 small hot sauce cups, so I asked for more and he said«do you wanna buy more?». NEVERAGAIN will I come back to this place. Food wise i’d give it a 2 star. customer service deserves a 0!

Recently, every time I’ve stopped by, it’s been kind of a shameful situation in which I am driving home from work, stressed, and wishing for a rolled taco. The rolled tacos look like they’ve been cooked way ahead of time and fried again upon order. The meat inside is tasteless and limp. The amount of sour cream, guac, and cheese sprinkled on is pitiful. So why do I keep swinging by? Because it’s convenient? Because of the location? Because I hate my insides? Probably all of the above. Food is not good and not satisfying but I keep forgetting because I have a bad memory.

If you are sober enough to drive to Coti’s or drunk enough to walk down the street to Sergio’s, I suggest you do that. This place gets hit with a big stick of «meh». It is just whatever for San Diego.
