History

Established in 2000.

This business started as a small custom furniture shop in Beaufort, South Carolina. The Carolinas are known for their fine woodworking and furniture making. It was a great opportunity to learn the craft from some of the best woodworkers in this country.

In the fifteen years time since we started this business our small shop has evolved into a full service cabinetry and woodworking facility. We can build any type of custom cabinet or furniture you desire. We have built thousands of cabinets since our days in the south and hope to continue for many years to come.

Now located in San Diego, California, our home town, we strive to provide a top quality product at reasonable prices. We service most areas of San Diego County.

As the owner of R. Harris & Co Custom Cabinets I am thankful everyday to go to work and have it be my passion in life. I feel lucky. I love working with wood, it is so rewarding. I love seeing the results of what a raw boards of lumber can turn into. Not only that, but it is the best feeling in the world to get happy and satisfied feedback from my clients when we finish a project for them and they are just beside themselves over how it turned out. It makes it all worth while. That is why I do what I do, to get those comments from the customer and to know that my crew and I helped to create beauty and improve the way they live for years to come.
