Q Nails

Everyone was so friendly and I went in for a mani and pedi. To treat myself after running and before my Vegas trip. They both were great! I will be back.

I came here with a friend about a week ago to get my nails done for the first time in a really long time. I did have to wait a bit but I didn’t have an appointment so that was understandable. Q Nails is nice small nail salon that’s easy to miss, but it really is a gem of a shop. The ladies were nice, and the work they did is simply top notch. My acrylics with gel polish are beautiful and very well done. I will definitely be coming back and will be recommending Q Nails to others as well.

I’ve gotten my nails done here multiple times & posted my happy nails along with my visits. I love the work I’ve gotten done each time. All the women here are great. I’ve gotten my nails done by Ivy, Lisa, and Lilly. All great work. I brought my mom here for Mother’s Day and the older woman did a great job as well with the foot massage. Will always return

I have been here twice now (once for gel manicure and once for a regular manicure) and both times they did a great job. They have gel nail colors matched to their regular nail polish for you if you want your hands and feet to be the same color which I loved. The best time to go is in the morning or early afternoon on weekdays, there was like one person there today at 12:00. When I went on a Saturday evening they were full. There is parking in the front and back of building which makes it super easy to find parking. Must try nail salon if you live near by!

I have been going to Q-​nails since they got new management and I will never go anywhere else. Ivy always goes above and beyond what I ask her for, and I never leave disappointed.
I’ve been getting the healthy nail powder for almost a year on and off and it really does work. I love how Ivy has nail products at her nail salon that other salons don’t have.
Again going above and beyond!

I love Q Nails! The staff is so sweet and bring water bottles during your service! They are so thorough and do a great job. I just went for my second visit and left feeling so happy with my nails again! My first gel manicure lasted and looked great for about a month which was super impressive! I will definitely be returning here again and again. :)

The first time I was there, Lisa did my nails and she was great! She did a really good job shaping my nails the way I requested and took her time with my cuticles (which was much needed). The second time I went in, Lisa was off so I had Lily and she did a great job as well! I’m so glad I found this place… Everyone is really friendly, the place is clean and does not have an overpowering smell. They also have a much larger selection of colors to choose from in gel polishes than other places I’ve been to! I will definitely be coming here from now on :)

Tried the new natural nails OMG I love them! I will never ever do acrylics again.

I just love nail designs and Ivy makes super cute designs! I just brought a pic from Pinterest and she quickly drew it, very similar to the pic I brought. I got so many compliments and my toddler love the nails! This pic is Shellac about a week old and they usually last 2 weeks, but she guarantees it in the first week with any problems you can go back which is really nice. Can’t wait to get my next design from Ivy :-)

Yay! I found a nail salon close to work!!! I got my nails done by Lilly! She did an amazing job and she is super sweet and professional. I am happy and will be back!

The ladies in here were great. The place is clean, smells great and the price is actually a little cheaper than most nail salons around here. Definitely will be back

I love my nails. Lilly is excellent at pleasing the client and she did that. I’m so very happy with this nail salon and highly recommend to give them a try. They have wonderful customer service along with their expertise in nails.

I found this location on Unilocal.Not only were the reviews realistic & positive, what caught my attention were the images posted by customers. Clean, consistent shaping is SO IMPORTANT to me. I noticed this and called to make a same-​day appt. I was parked & seated in a cozy massage chair within 20 MINUTES after the phone call! (I live very close) Oh & the spa chairs are AWESOME. I didn’t want to get up afterwards.
My services consisted of a spa pedicure & full set acrylics with a BEAUTIFUL gel polish color #83 (the salon technicians helped me choose). I requested the coffin shape & Lily did exactly that. Not ONE SPEC of acrylic or polish left on my skin. No chunks of acrylic under the nail tips. No dents or «waves» on the surface of the gel color. Lily did about 3 coats of gel color and was very patient with me fumbling with the UV light & falling asleep (due to the massage chair)
My pedicure was just as pleasant as well. I think Ana was her name. She revived my toes! I tend to neglect them with sneakers, but my goodness! I have brand new feet thanks to her.
Parking was easy. Location is quiet. The salon is clean and well-​ventilated.

I have been going to Q nails for over a year and wouldn’t go anywhere else! All the manicurists are so nice and they pay great attention to detail. I recently started getting SNS healthy nails from Ivy (the store owner) and absolutely love it! She is the best! My whole family goes to Q nails now! :)

Thought I’d try getting a mani/​pedi somewhere closer to home. Found this place on Unilocal.Wanted to try them out before doing what I usually do and get designs on my nails.
Came in and was greeted right away by a woman doing a manicure. Later, I found out her name was Ivy. She asked me what I wanted done and motioned a gentleman to prepare my seat for a pedicure. He was attentive and showed me where to put my purse, how to turn the massage chair on and offered me a bottle of water. He had made the water pretty warm and it was very relaxing. The place seemed very understaffed and I noticed they must’ve asked five or six customers to come in at a later time.
About two to three minutes in, an older woman had just finished a manicure and came to do my pedicure. I saw that she had picked up a metal tray that had all of the tools on it. I didn’t see her open the tools from a blue packet and wondered if they were clean or were being used from the previous customer. I should’ve asked and am now hoping I don’t get any infections.
Maybe five to seven minutes into my pedicure, I brought up which pedicure package I has wanted, since she had never asked. She then asked if I had already chosen a color, which I hadn’t, since she never gave me the colors to look at. Felt like she could’ve asked which package I had wanted prior to starting my pedicure and I could’ve had more time to choose a color.
She listened to me when I had asked her to cut the cuticles on the sides of my big toes, since they were digging into my toes. Not many manicurist even try, or know how, to do what I ask. I was very grateful.
At the end of my pedicure, she had grabbed a hot towel to wipe my legs down. She had not given me any warning, or try to cool the towel before putting it on my skin. It stung and I flinched.
Ouch.
Onto my manicure, she grabbed my sandals, while I walked barefoot to the manicure station. She proceeded to put a towel down on the ground for me to put my feet on. I soaked my fingernails in a glass bowl of cool water. She began my manicure and listened to me when I has asked if she could file down the tops of my thumb nails. She did a great job with my cuticles.
But onto the shellac application of my manicure. She seemed to have a hard time keeping the gel on my nail and off my skin. She would repeatedly use her thumb nail, or a brush dipped in acetone, to clean up the sides of my nails. She applied three coats of the color and one top coat. After my gel was applied, she used the cuticle cutter on all my nails again, and starting filing underneath them all. I was hoping she wouldn’t leave any rough edges. I took a look at my hands and noticed some color left on my fingertips, and some nails with leftover gel on my skin. Guess she couldn’t clean up her mistakes. Hence, the picture I posted.
At the end of the shellac application, she got a nickel size portion of lotion and applied it to my hands. No massage. And no lotion applied higher than my wrists. Both of which, I was looking forward to.
She got up and headed to the register and I put my sandals back on. But nope. Not here. Usually, I’ve experienced manicurist help with putting my footwear back on, in fear of ruining my pedicure.
Overall, the price was okay. I used their Unilocal special of $ 2 off and a free sea salt scrub during my pedicure. So $ 50 for both a mani and pedi.
I’m really hoping I don’t get any infections. If I do, I will update this review.

This nail salon is hidden in the former Haggen shopping center. Beware: parking spaces can be a little small!
I went to his nail salon after my sister recommended it. I was LONG overdue for a pedicure. I called them on a Friday afternoon and asked how long the wait was. The worker said there was no wait time if I came in right away. I arrived to the salon and they got me seated right away. It’s a bit smaller than other nail salons but my first impression was that this place was very clean. I needed to use the restroom and the restroom was also very clean. Cleanliness is a big deal!
They worked on my pedicure first. A large group of girls came in but the worker didn’t rush on my pedicure. After she was done, she moved me to a table to get a manicure. I did notice they clean the pedicure basins right away.
Overall, I was very happy with my experience here. My manicure and pedicure came out perfect. I would come back here and I would also recommend this place to others. Don’t forget to check in!

Came here again after the incredible service from last time. This time, I decided to get a flower design on one of my nails instead of the French nails from before. Amazingly, the lady who was painting my nails – who I later discovered to be Ivy – remembered me from the last time I came! She even remembered what nail design she had given me. Definitely made me feel special. But it’s not just Ivy. All of the workers really know what they’re doing. You’re in good hands – and you’ll leave with good hands (haha bad joke here).
Anyway, the price was pretty good. $ 15 for my nails, hopefully they’ll last a while. Lots of designs to choose from, lots of different nail polishes to choose from. You can also bring your own nail polish if you want them to use it.
Manicure, check. Next time, I’m looking to get a pedicure (I normally don’t like having my feet touched, but I’ve heard a lot of good things about the pedicures and other Unilocalers’ toes look fantastic, so I’m willing to give it a go!). And apparently they do eyebrow (waxing, I think) too, if you’re up to it.
Overall, really awesome place. Will be back in the future.
