A&P represents everything that is wrong with corporate America. After a year at one of their properties I had the following issues: –dishwasher didn’t work for the full year I lived there –5 floodings due to a cracked foundation(which they diagnosed and refuse to fix– every time we have heavy rain I have to go home to keep an eye on it) –unsafe water for 2 months(fizzed, white color, visible debris) they refused to have tested(I had someone out to take care of it, at my own expense. I was forced to vacate my unit during this time, yet I still had to pay rent). –dishwasher leaked for 7 months. They’re corporate management has been unwilling to work with me on any of these issues. I have hired lawyers, sent letters, made endless phone calls to no avail. After a year of fighting with them, today they finally agreed to a $ 200 «customer satisfaction concession» and told me to «consider the matter closed». I have never felt more insulted and defeated in my life. My apartment situation has been a distraction from work, a source of stress in my personal life and a generally untenable situation for the entirety of my lease. I strongly advise anyone to think twice before agreeing to trust a company with your housing that clearly does not give a flying f@$k about customer satisfaction.

As a resident of one of their communities, I had to speak to the supervisor of the apartments I live at since the on site manager was on vacation. I was having an issue with my neighbor and the supervisor was a very thoughtful listener. It seems as if the problem with the neighbor is better and she even followed up a few days later to check in and see how things we’re going. Definitely great customer service!

1STAR Urgh! The rep by the name of Michele is very UNPROFESSIONAL. Very rude & don’t even give you the time of day as to why I called and what I needed vs her telling me info regarding a property I didn’t even ask for! After providing her the property address and owners name, she said they have a $ 0 balance and sounded as if she was in a rush and didn’t want to talk any further. Lady did I ask you for that info?! NO! Give your clients the time of day and LISTEN to why WE are calling before you blurt out information as if you are right! 5STARS for Tyonie! The previous rep Tyonie on the other hand was complete opposite when I first called in. She was extremely professional and provided me immediate assistance after our phone conversation via email. There was just a minor error that I needed fix and figured Tyonie was out to lunch since I didn’t hear back from her via email. That was the only reason for my second call back and unfortunately didn’t receive the same level of experience with Michele.
