Description

Specialties

Our goal is to use the elite tools and technology in softball to expand the opportunities of softball players, coaches, teams, and leagues. Accomplished college softball coaches, national softball team members, and college softball all-stars comprise the Power Line coaching staff that present proficient and professional softball lessons and mentoring. Power Line services include: Softball Skill Development (softball hitting, lefty slapping and situational play, catching, pitching, and infield and outfield defense), College Bound Athlete Services, and Sports Performance Training.

Private lessons are one-on-one. Team sessions consist of a circuit so the athletes are pushed to work hard together to achieve as a group. Through team practices, coaches’ clinics, recruiting seminars, we also advise and consult softball coaches as they grow their programs.

History

Established in 2008.

After graduating from the University of Notre Dame in 1995, Sara Hayes coached Top 25 Division 1 collegiate softball until the summer of 2008. In that time, she has had the privilege of working alongside, and learning from, some of the most enthusiastic, dynamic, and brilliant leaders of women’s college fastpitch softball — Liz Miller (Notre Dame), Eugene Lenti (DePaul), Patrick Murphy (Alabama), Sue Enquist (UCLA), Brian Kolze (Pacific), and Kathy Van Wyk (San Diego State).

Through Power Line Consulting, Sara’s influence on the game of softball extends further; beyond the field, the grandstands, and college arena. It is Sara’s vision to assist in the education and support of high school athletes and their families; to help them achieve greatness on and off the field of play.

Power Line has become the go-to place for softball skill development in San Diego. In August of 2011, Power Line added two exceptionally decorated college graduates to it’s staff and doubled it’s facility space.
