Piranio Frank Dr

Dr. Frank Piranio is the man; he has been treating me for about 1 year. I hurt my back about 13 years ago and he was able to make improvements to the flexibility in my spine with stretches and minor adjustments within 6 visits. I have kept coming back as part of regular maintenance as I final feel much better regarding my mobility. I am not a big «cracking» guy so his approach is appreciated.

In my life, I seen a decent amount of chiropractors… Dr. P is a good chiropractor. He listen, exams and adjust well. He seemed to help me… I like both Dr. P and Dr. Kneep at their office. Both are very good… Thank you Dr. P

I went to Dr. P in January after I had been seeing a different chiropractor for a few months with absolutely no improvement. He came in, took x-​rays and sat down with me to show me where the issues were (in the neck) and explained why I was in pain and his plan of action. He was the first Dr that gave me hope that relief was in my near future. He cracked me a few times and eventually I started to feel better. I have a huge fear of getting my neck cracked but he made me feel as comfortable as I could be!
I also saw Dr. J who too was great! She made me feel at home, she was able to give me some great advice and crack me to get me on my way feeling better. She was very polite, gentle and confident.
The receptionist is a complete sweetheart. I am horrible with names but I believe its Rene? (sorry if its not) She is very polite, concerned and caring and very helpful. Her goal is to make sure you feel better by the end of your appointment. She even sends you away with an ice pack if needed.
I live in Escondido so its a bit of a drive to go there, especially when its twice a week however it is absolutely worth the drive!

I wentto Dr. P. for a bad back a few months back. His office staff are really nice, very flexible, and easy to work with. Dr. P knows his stuff and gave me advice regarding my back condition that was really helpful. My back, as a result of the chiropractic (and not picking up my 5 year old grandson) is much better. If it goes south again, I can always go back. But hopefuly, I won’t have to (at least not for awhile!).

Dr. P earned a 4-​star positive review even though 4 visits with him didn’t help me. I really like him and think he is really smart, caring, and honest. My particular scapula pain probably just couldn’t be fixed by chiropractic.
Pros:
* I liked that I could complete the forms ahead of time online
* free parking in spacious lot
* I could sign in at 1 of 2 computers at reception area (I love when places are paperless)
* After signing in, patients go to the secondary waiting room where I used a electronic massage chair for 10 – 20 mins. I’ve never had such a comfortable waiting room before!
* After my first «adjustment», the receptionist even gave me an ice pack to take with me to work (in case I needed it for my scapula). What a nice touch!
* receptionist was nice and seemed to really care for me during each visit
* fluorescent lights in ceiling were covered with translucent blue sky + clouds imagery
* After 4 visits, Dr. P said that chiropractic wouldn’t be able to help my pain. I very much appreciate his honesty; I think other chiropractors might have tried to get me to keep coming.
Cons:
* I still have the same pain (no improvement)
* It would be ideal if Dr P (and everyone in a healthcare field) would type up a report at the end of each visit and email it to the patient. I try to take notes at the end of doctor visits but can’t always write down /​remember all the particular terms, recommendations, etc.
* I still would prefer appointments to be perfectly on time (but yeah, a massage chair definitely makes the waiting better)

I have been to MANY chiropractors through the years and there aren’t many I can rave as much about as I can about Dr. P… He is not only good at what he does but he is very personalable too and so is office staff. He also has great massage therapsts in his office, which is covered by many insurances also…

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. P. My whole family has been going to him for years. He will sqeeze you in on a few (even 1) hours notice, and I have never had to wait a long time for him.
I first started going to see him when I was about 8 or 9 months pregnant with my daughter, She had kicked a rib out (thanks, babe!) and I was in excrutiating pain. He snap, cracked and popped me back in place.
He is soft spoken and very funny.
The office staff is great as well. I totally recommend him.
By the way– I do not have insurance, and I am not rich… I still can go see him and it doesn’t break me.

I have been seeing Dr. Piranio for migraine and back/​neck pain every month or two for 11 years. He can cure a migraine on the spot! He is a wonderful and personable Dr. who will take to time to explain procedures and issues thoroughly without making you feel rushed.
When Dr. Piranio has been unavailable (only 2 – 3 times in the past 11 years!) I have seen his colleague, Dr. Knepp, who also provides excellent care. The office staff is wonderful as well.
The office has a serene atmosphere, 2 massage chairs and 5 – 6 traction tables. There is also massage and acupuncture available on site.
I have recommended San Diego Chiropractic to many friends — who are all continued and loyal patients.

Dr. Frank Piranio is awesome. Very nice and personable guy and does a great job readjusting my back and other areas. One time, something wasn’t right around my kneecap and I called Dr. P to see what I could do. He told me to come right away and he squeezed me in. One move and I heard a pop and felt better instantly. I’ve referred many colleagues and friends to him and they love him. Can’t go wrong with Mr. P.

He’s amazing. Seriously. I’ve seen many Chiros throughout the years and he’s one of the best.
I went to a doctor by the name of Lance Clothey because my neck was stiff. This guy cracked my neck and sent me on my way and I ended up with a pinched nerve and was miserable for the next two months! During this time I saw a specialist who wanted to give me cortisone shots in my neck (um… no thanks!) and then went through physical therapy for a few weeks with no improvement.
I was referred to Dr. Piranio by a naturopath (he told me that he never recommends anyone unless a large number of his patients recommend the person). Lucky me! He had me fixed in no time! It’s my neck that gives my problems and it’s pretty scary getting your neck cracked but you can tell that he knows exacly what he’s doing and I“m completely comfortable letting him do what he needs to do. After just two adjustments I noticed a huge improvement! I’ve been seeing him for about 5 months now and I have to say that if you’re lucky enough to live anywhere near the Clairmont area — go see him! (Genessee/​Balboa)
