Wow, $ 50 for lunch. Two adults and one kid. Maybe a great fast food joint at the park but the prices are from Mars. Grossly overpriced.

Finally a place that has the delicious and life changing pineapple ice cream that is found in Adventure Land, Disneyland. The pineapple whip, float, and vanilla twist are among the greatest treats in the world! We were ecstatic to find these treats existed outside of Disney parks. Please give me the secret recipe so I can make it at home! :) This little shop also offers alcohol, which was a rare find in Seaworld. My girl and I aren’t so found of beer so piña coladas and simple mixed drinks were a dream come true. You can even get your treats(non-alcoholic or with) in a pineapple for an additional $ 9.99. Pretty steep but after all it is within a park, everything is overpriced. I hope this place stays open forever so we can enjoy each time we come back.

Pssssst… you! Pete serves alchohol! Yes he does! He even will place it in a pineapple. He also serves made to order sandwiches and salads, desserts, and has a few other fried selections like fish and chicken tenders. I sampled the chicken tenders with BBQ sauce and fries. The sauce was smoky and thick. I liked it. The fries dipped nicely into my pineapple whip. Pineapple whippppp! Oh my. Deliciousness! Get several spoons .My whip was big enough to share and I still had my fill. Pete’s runs on two lines into the building so you can order on either side. Some notes: you don’t pay at the counter. Turn to the person that looks like a hostess/host near the exit that’s who you give the money to. Oh, and if you want to order something that’s not premade you have to flag down a worker behind the counter. Okay, now you are ready. Enjoy!

How could you go wrong with chicken tenders? Ask Pineapple Pete’s… Seriously gross and the fries were equally as awful. The bbq sauce tasted like hoisin sauce and it was terrible. We also ordered the original, which was the grilled sandwich with spam, cheese, and pineapple. We had to wait 20 minutes for it. They have a poor line system. And it doesn’t work well because we waited in like for 30 minutes just so we could wait another 20 for our food. They leave the fish and tenders out for people to grab and they take orders for the funnel cakes and sandwiches. The tenders I had were super cold and fries got old before I could eat them. Not coming back. We wasted a lot of time here.

I really like the pineapple soft serve ice cream or the pineapple soft serve float(in pineapple juice). It is light and refreshing.

I don’t get the bad reviews. Are people really expecting a 5-star dining experience when they order fried shrimp and a Coke? Come on people, it’s a theme-park. This is basic food. For what it is, we’ve never eaten anything lousy. The funnel cakes are great and they will refill our plastic beer cups for the cheaper refill price(and they’ll take your Sea World annual pass so you can get a discount). Set your expectations before coming in here and it won’t be such a shock when your food comes. Order some of the sweets and get food at one of the larger restaurants in the park.

The classic cake so good, it’s strawberry mix ice cream and bakery cake. Btw the chicken tender fried too dry, fish also. Soon like too old oil. Not recommend.

Not great. Standard deep fried fish&chips, fried shrimp and chicken tenders was what we got. Long frustrating wait. Do not get the piña colada. Guy def didn’t not get any training in how to make one. Was overpriced and disappointing but hey, someone has to pay for the restaurant quality fish that they feed the orcas.

RUDESTSTAFFEVER!!! C ‘mon now. You guys work in Sea World for crying out loud. Smile and don’t be so damn rude. Food was ok, way over priced like every other resturaunt here though. Best thing I had was the fresh fruit with lime and pepper. But service was HORRIBLE.

— Locale Destination — It’s in Sea World, San Diego. It’s located in the North East side of «Sesame Street» area. It’s shaved like a house. It has 2 entrances — both identical. So get the shorter line! The line moves quite slow but they cook freshly… The staff were friendly throughout the park. It’s just slow ;p There’s no seating inside. You just order foods and pay inside. Plenty of outside seating. Menu: Fried chicken, fish & chips, burgers, salads etc. Lots of desserts — funnel cakes, Dole whip, ice cream, fresh fruits etc. It seemed better than other places. — Gluttony Expedition — Fish & chips: it was unexpectedly good. Well, not awesome but a lot better than I expected. Chipotle tartar wasn’t bad, either. Good portion — 3 fish and lots of French fries(shoe strings). Chicken tenders: The same one as Disneyland. It’s crispy yet not many meats(more crispy batter). OK. Shoe strings were cooked well. *** Desserts *** Desserts here are HUGE — so share with a few people! I’m not kidding. Funnel cake: HUGE — twice as big as the one at Disneyland. You can put soft serve on it. Great for share — seriously BIG. Now«Dole whip» is everywhere — you don’t need to go to Disneyland to get it. But the portion here is twice as the one by Mickey: p Huge!!! — Conqueror’s Deduction — Those bad reviews were posted in 2013. 2014 is different! I’m not a fan of theme park foods in general since they are far from healthy, greasy, yucky and overpriced in general. I’m a typical captive audience and too lazy to get out of the park for food. I’m very used to foods at Disneyland(I don’t think they are good in general with some exceptions) and very picky about the food quality in general(as you know). That being said, the food quality, portion and price were not bad at all unexpectedly. The menu here was more interesting than other places. The foods were freshly made. You can get a good portion meal for $ 9 throughout the park, which isn’t bad for the theme park foods. Desserts are around $ 6 – 8, but A LOTBIGGER portion than Disneyland for sure. You can share almost every dessert with 2 or 3 people, which is very unheard of. I think you can get more satisfaction than Disneyland. I was a bit surprised at their higher standards. Honestly, I don’t mind getting snacks here at all. San Diego offers tons of good foods. So I’m not saying the foods here are as good as those. I’m just saying it was good enough offering values for the captive audience.

Poorly prepared food. Most everything fried. Holding area for fried food for servers has bowls which means newly fried food is dumped on top of old food. No rotation. Just don’t go later after rush otherwise you’ll get the leftovers. Food in general has dropped in quality since the sale of Sea World but not the prices. Only bright spot, you can still get a beer!

Mediocre at best. I ordered a fried panini sandwich with turkey meat and it was decent, it was nothing to rave about though. In all honesty, I would have rather ate elsewhere. The food was not cheap either, it costed 10 bucks. I would pass on this place if I were you and walk to the BBQ stand. The food was more mediocre than the review I just wrote.

I was lured by the ‘oh sooo 60s’ look, that color between turquoise and acqua is so antique and lovable, and also for the fact that was no line when we arrived and all the tables at the patio were empty… well, maybe they were empty because the food is just horrible. I got the worst Panini of my life, the quality of the ham and cheese were subpar to say the least. The bread was inferior. The fries… well I had to wait and wait and wait until the girl at the cashier(who seemed to be the only one who cared) ordered the guy in the fries section to move and start cooking, that someone was waiting! I feel sorry for her, as she seemed to be very responsible and good at directing people who did not seem very interested in doing their jobs. I ordered the Panini and a beer and I think the $ 18 spent were too much for what I got, and had a bad aftertaste the whole afternoon. At least the tables outsides were clean and the t-shirts the employees wear are very tropical looking, so you forget for some seconds about the horrid food experience. Bring your own food!

Probably the only place I’d consider eating if I didn’t smuggle a carne asada burrito from outside. Yep, but the efficiency of food preparation lacks behind the counters, to say the least. One person will help one customer, one at a time. There is no line help, no team assembly of items. If one person orders a shit load of food, you’ll be waiting for that one person behind the counter to get all the food, all by themselves. Because of this, I’ve seen people walk out of line, in disgust, at the lack of organization. I think the manager herself was the one manning the fryers, creating funnel cakes and frying the chicken tenders/fries. I guess she didn’t trust anyone else to man these duties as they’d probably start a fire and burn down the joint. The quality of food rivals what you get at your local elementary school but at 10 times the price. A funnel cake or a couple chicken strips with fries will set you back nearly $ 10 and don’t bother ordering the soft serve sundaes, on a hot day the sundaes quickly turn into a melted mess by the time you reach the cash register. It’s what I typically expect from an amusement park. The best deal is purchasing an $ 8 refillable sports cup, refills are 99 cents. Bring it home and bring it back to the park the next time you visit. You won’t be sorry. Thank God for the free $ 15 food voucher(special company event) or I’d get my hand stamped at the gate and head to Phil’s BBQ across the fwy. The fishy aroma you smell throughout the park is complimentary.

They need to get a better ordering & pick up system. Every time I go there, there’s always chaos happening in the back. Nobody knows who’s order belongs to who. In my last visit there, which prompted this review, I was waiting in a line, that formed because of the slow service, for my funnel cake. Because of the mess going on in the back, one of the employees in the front decides to offer a drink to people waiting. Oh wait… not EVERYONE waiting. Not even to the people who have been waiting 20 minutes for one funnel cake. He decides to offer a drink to the lady who just recently put in her order. How you gonna offer the lady BEHIND3 other people, a drink for waiting 10 minutes but NOT me?! Seriously!?? I’ll never go here again on a weekend or any other day that’s busy.

Expensive, unfresh, and I got sick as a dog later. Literally drove home quickly to get to a bathroom and… it bounced. It doesn’t get much worse than that.

Pretty happy with this little place considering that it’s located in a tourist trap. Good value(for an amusement park) and tasty! Ordered the shrimp dish — super tasty shrimp with a tangy sauce! Really liked it. Fries were decent too and a good size helping. My boyfriend got the chicken strips and he scarfed them down so I assume it was good. Loved the waffle cone soft serve sundae! Huge portion with options for tasty toppings. You can even have toppings on the side(the bf likes nuts, I don’t). This is good for two people, it’s that big. I got the vanilla with whipped cream & strawberry toppings. Really great value, especially for $ 4.

Located in SeaWorld San Diego — Great place for soft serve ice cream and funnel cake :) I ordered the Vanilla Waffle Cone Sundae and my friend ordered a Hot Fudge Funnel Cake served with Vanilla Ice Cream — both were so yummy and huge! We couldn’t even finish them! Huge serving and reasonable prices — don’t forget to stop by there when you’re at the park.

Nice little break spot for sweets and drinks. Right by Seseme’s Bay of Play, the area has plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy their funnel cakes and soft serve sundaes. They also serve sodas and a couple beer selections here to quench your thirst. Funnel cakes: Chocolate Brownie a la mode, Apple topped and Strawberry topped. I tried out their Chocolate Brownie a la mode and the funnel cake tasted like Cocoa Puffs! Yum! Soft serve in waffle cones or as a sundae. Note: No ice cream at this location, just soft.
