History
Established in 2011.
After discovering that my autistic son had a sensitivity to gluten, I decided to try a gluten-free diet. I was immediately disappointed with store bought selections that were tasteless and mediocre at best. If I felt this way, I knew there were others in the community who were also looking for delicious gluten-free alternatives. Many of our products are also casein-free, soy-free, corn-free and/or vegan. My recipes surpass my own high standards for taste and texture. You’ll see the difference when trying our fresh-baked products!

Business Owner
Born and raised on the East coast, Paula’s adventurous side brought her to San Diego nearly 20 years ago. As a creative person, she loves to express herself artistically whether it’s behind a camera or developing new recipes in the kitchen. When she lost her management job a few years ago because of down-sizing, Paula rediscovered her love of baking and founded her own company. The result is Paula’s Gluten-Free, a custom bakery dedicated to making the finest gluten-free baked goods in San Diego.
