History

Established in 1996.

Dr. Marsh graduated from the Southern California University of Health Sciences /​Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. He opened his private practice in San Diego in 1996. In 2000 he received his Q.M.E. certificate (A state certification deeming Dr. Marsh as a med-​legal expert on issues such as workers’ compensation, disability and apportionment). This certificate is generally used for Workers’ Compensation and in expert med-​legal witness cases. In addition he has a large population of professional athletes. He has served as the medical director for the San Diego Triathlon series, US Women’s Triathlon Series, Silver Strand Half Marathon, San Diego Zoo /​Safari Park Half Marathon, San Diego Enforcers semi pro football team, San Diego Surfer’s Club Rugby Team, Champagne Classic Rugby Tournament & So Cal Scorpions women’s professional football team.

Really disappointing experience here. I booked an appointment and got the day off work, only to come in and find that my appointment didn’t appear on their schedule.
As inconvenient as that was, I re-​booked for Monday. Once again, I ask for permission from work and they allow me to leave a couple of hours early to catch my new appointment. I show up Monday after filling out their online forms over the weekend, but I still ended up sitting in pain for over an hour after my appointment time.
I decided enough was enough and left in search of a more professional establishment.

Was referred to Dr. Marsh by Dr. Kopp (Ortho Foot Specialist) whom is also great and gives the least painful foot cortisone injections by the way. Dr. Kopp said that Dr. Marsh has a 90% cure rate for Plantar Fasciitis and other injuries and condition. Dr. Marsh did an hour of great feeling therapies on my feet and I had tremendous relief and increased function immediately and 2 months later it has sustained. He is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Cash price is very cheap too, ½ of what you would expect at 60.00 dollars, I have paid 150 normally for other physical therapists. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM FOR ALL INJURIES AND REHAB! look at my other reviews and you will know that I have experienced and do not hype or pretend. alos tries to see you same day, and he did me, thank you! Needed to see a chiropractor and Dr. Marsh was on my insurance provider’s list. His reviews on Unilocal looked very good but chose him because I liked his response to the one bad review I saw. And I’m glad I did. Without x-​rays he diagnosed my problem and said I would probably need to see him 5 or 6 times… it only took 5. In addition to the adjustments, he gave me exercises to do and told me some things I should not be doing. It’s all been working and my back feels great! There was no pressure to get in a long-​term care situation or to buy any products. I recommend him highly!

Believe me, if I could I would give Dr. Marsh 10 stars! He saved me more than once — I had two injuries the past year and if hasn’t for him I would never heal. Dr. Marsh is an excellent professional who takes great care of all patients. If you need any chiropractic service I really recommend you to visit Dr. Marsh!

Wow what can I say about Dr. Marsh. Well let me disclosed that I have been personal friends with him for more then 10 years. I also work in the medical field and know a good Doc when I work with them. His work is state of the art and his skill is unmatched in the healing arts. I’ve been going to Dr. Marsh for a couple years now and find his services fantastic. I had upper shoulder and next pain and he was not only able to correct the issue but prevent future pains. Additionally, he assisted me in getting a brace for my surgically repaired knee and orthopedics for my shoes.
Centrally located makes it easy to get to and if you’re coming in just for a once a month maintenance, you can be in and out in less than 20 minutes. Fantastic.

Years later, I still go to Dr Marsh. If I call, he recognizes my voice right away, and always takes care of me.
I come in sporadically, rarely with an appointment, and rarely have to wait longer than 15 mins.
He is very knowledgeable overall in just about everything body related. Asked him if he knew anything about knees, as one of mine had been bugging me and right away he knew what was wrong and how to go about remedying it.

I can only rave about Dr. Marsh and his staff. I’ve had experiences in the past where Chiropractors try to have you come in every other day, as if you don’t have a schedule of your own. He is different. As an athlete himself, he realizes endurance athletes need to keep on the road, so to speak, and has helped me create a training plan to do exactly that. He gave me some valuable information to take with me and never tried the hard sell on every other day visits. Thanks!

Dr. Marsh and staff took good care of me and my knee tendonitis. He diagnosed it right away and began treatment immediately. He also set me up with an exercise plan so that a recurrence might be prevented. I was back to long-​distance cycling, pain-​free, much sooner than anticipated.
I also like the fact that Dr. Marsh provides students opportunities to learn the practice.

I met Dr. Paul Marsh about 3 years ago. When I was on a job hanging some cabinets on my own I was holding the wall cab up with one arm and securing it with my other when my shoulder decided to gently roll out of it’s socket. I was talking to a friend about it and she recommended I go see Paul, I’ve rolled my shoulder out of its socket once before and didn’t see anyone about it… It took me about 4 months before I was back to everyday motion. When I saw Paul, he worked some magic and was completely back to work with no pain the next day. I will always give Paul a call whenever needed. Thanks man. Still appreciated.

Dr. Marsh is excellent – very knowledgeable, detailed, personable, and helpful. I have been seeing him for over a year now on a regular basis. The first part of my visit is usually vibrations (muscle stem) on your back while you are on a heated massage water bed for 10 minutes. Then he does patient intake, asking me how I feel and dictates into his computer program my comments and his analysis. Then he does the adjustment. He is a great listener, I never feel lke he is rushing me out, and answers my questions thoroughly.
Sometimes, I even continue, depending on my injury at the time, with more therapty. For example, with a wrist/​hand injury, he places my arm into a sleeve that is connected to a ice machne so it gets really cold fast. I also do ultrasound by having a different wand over my arm (with tingling gel). He has a bunch of tools to assist for different ailments.
He offers has massage staff available too and sells orthodics, herbal supplements, and ergonomic aids. I know he also helps out «professional athletes» too.
Dr. Marsh is very professional, friendly, and likeable. He is very positive, enthusiastic, and organized. I would definitely recommend him as a chiropractor.

I just got my first ever adjustment with Dr. Marsh this morning. I was terrified, and I couldn’t be happier that I chose this office because Dr. Marsh made it so easy for me.
I have been having terrible lower back pain for the last 3 weeks and nothing was making it better so I decided to finally see a professional. He was sensitive to my fear, he kept me relaxed and in a great mood, most importantly he was very gentle, and explained every single thing to me in detail (with pictures and other visuals,) so I would feel comfortable and fully understand my situation. Dr. Marsh was able to diagnose my issue and set up a treatment/​recovery plan and wasted no time getting started! I went into his office terrified and left feeling super confident in my choice of office, very excited for my next appointment, and not afraid at all!
I feel completely confident that Dr. Marsh will be able to correct my issues and resolve my pain very quickly. I will add a comment to this review in a few weeks to update my progress!
I found his receptionist to be super friendly and professional. I didn’t have a single issue with scheduling my appointments or payment upon leaving. She was wonderful!

Doctor Paul is the best. He’s helped me several times with various triathlon and sports related injuries. Knowledgeable and thorough, I always feel like he goes the extra step to heal my injuries and prevent more in the future. In addition he volunteers for several of the local races, helping out all the people limping across the finish line. Now if I can only convince him to open another office in North County…

How do you give zero stars?
This review is not of the doctor. It is of reception desk and their service. I have read nothing but good things on the doctor, but if I run into this amount of incompetence trying to see him, this is not the chiropractic office I will be choosing to give my money to.
I made an apt for a massage over two weeks in advance and when I get there, I’m not on the schedule. «Come back tomorrow she says. We don’t even have our masseuse available for the hour that you were booked.» Well that’s a fine business practice you have here. You get super excited to have a massage and you come to find they have some person answering the phone making rogue appointments. No thanks.

Dr. Marsh has seriously saved my life on many occasions. Where normally it would take numerous visits to be able to turn my head he was able to adjust me in just one session. I’ve been visiting his office for over three years and he and the staff are courtious, smiling, helpful, and know what they are talking about. Make an appointment but he has been flexible to have me come in when I was in tears. :)

When I came to Dr. Marsh, I could barely walk due to 3 herniated disks. He took care of me gratis being a referral from another patient of his. he was so knowledgable, and not only got me out of the immediate pain, but also taught me proper exercises to help the problem long term. Love him!

Dr. Marsh is a very professional chiropractor. He knows what he is doing and he does not lie about what part of your body is experiencing the pain. At my first visit, Dr. Marsh explained which muscle was giving me a back pain. Afterwards, he did some cracking, water massage and camphor therapy. It really helped some of the pain i was experiencing.
I went there a few days ago for my second visit. Dr. Marsh is awesome again through cracking my back that it for relived some of the back pain I was experiencing. Definitely going back.
