When I moved to San Diego at 5 months pregnant I was so nervous. Everything was new to me and I had no idea where to start. I had to find a new OB and I eventually had to look for a pediatrician. Luckily while at The hospital I was recommended this group. Patricia Juarez was not the one we were referred to, but fortunately I’m glad she was the one available. She was very welcoming and accepted all my questions. She makes me feel at ease being a first time mom with first time experiences. They also make it very easy to communicate online if ever I have any questions. Their online portal is very helpful.

My daughter hasn’t seen Dr. Juarez very often, because she is a pretty well child. But whenever she has seen her, Dr. Juarez has always been awesome. She definitely has great bedside manner, and she is great with kids. Highly recommend her as a pediatrician!

We recently changed over to Dr. Juarez, under recommendation from a lactation consultant at Mary Birch, and we couldn’t be happier. The last pediatrician we had for our little girl was less than supportive of my exclusive breastfeeding– making me feel awful that my baby was a bit on the chunky side(and when I say a bit I mean, she’s HUGE). Being a nurse myself, I know how important it is to breastfeed, and that the weight they put on will melt off as they become mobile, and Dr. Juarez in on board with it. She didn’t even make mention that our little girl was off the charts, because she knew it was all breast milk chub. She spent plenty of time with us and answered all of our questions respectfully. We arrived at the office, signed in, had the appointment, and were back in our car 40 minutes later. We literally waited for 2 minutes before being seen, both times we have gone. Awesome. She was very loving and sweet to our baby, which I of course appreciated. I feel that she will continue to give us appropriate care, with up to date information– which is much more than I can say about so many other peds!

As a new mom of a six month old baby, I did not appreciate her harsh attitude towards me for decisions I made in the best interest of my child. I was trying to be open minded and gather information from her, but she was too busy lecturing me to properly answer my questions. New parents have a lot of tough decisions to make and we need answers, not criticisms. She also did not seem especially warm or caring towards my baby, rather she seemed very detached.
