I came into this Panda last night and was pleasantly surprised! Quita was amazing, she was happy to serve us, and also made some recommendations. Great service is so hard to come by, especially for fast food, but everyone working last night was so awesome! The cashier was a sweet young girl, who was very tentative. I will be coming back :)

The food here is, well, far worse than all the Panda Express stores I have had in my whole life. To be fair, I only have the walnut shrimps but it wasn’t that good of an experience. The workers are polite but since this is the self-service kind of restaurant, the food must take the majority of my rate. The walnut shrimps were blunt and tasteless. The walnuts were even more tasty than the shrimps themselves. It feels like they need more time to marinate and/or dip the shrimps into the sauce. I regret having double walnut shrimps for my potion in hope that it would be as good as what I have had before at other locations.

Yum!!! Very tasty orange chicken and chow mein. I’m coming back soon! It’s actually better than the Chinese place close by. Yum!

Food was lovely, cooked fresh in front of you. We opted for the all you can eat buffet, this way we got to try everything, they just give you a stamp on your hand and you show it each time you go up. Well worth the money, not very expensive at all, would go again for a good chinese

Panda Express can be a miss, but this is most definitely a hit! The staff is always cheerful, genuine and willing to let you sample anything. The food itself is usually very fresh, warm and tasty. As for someone who has traveled extensively I know it’s not«authentic», but I like it. High calories and all!

Panda Express is always so delicious. I just wish there was eggdrop soup. I recommend putting the soy sauce and chili sauce over it all. They provide these sauces upon request. The egg roll and wantans are iffy at best though.

Every time I come here the manager Sean gives the best customer service. I’m very impressed with the staff at this Panda Express. Quick service and very clean. My favorite Panda Express in San Diego!!! :)

This Panda Express location is always reliable. They prepare the food correctly unlike the Panda on University. Friendly customer service makes this place more appealing than other locations. Noor and Alex were very attentive and generously gave me a free drink cup to sip while I waited for my food to be cooked fresh. Thank you!

Decent location this one, near trolley Came in the eve at peak time so food was refilled fast. Very busy but organized. Staff was nice.

In the food court, Panda is crowded and popular. The food was ok but a bit too sweet and oily for me. However, I enjoyed the hot and sour soup.

This is the worst Panda Express I have been to. Food tastes funny, service is not good at all. Make you spend 20 minutes in line behind somebody taking samples and debating choices while your food sits on the counter getting cold. Why can’t I pay since I’m ready and waiting? Every other Panda does that. Oh well, they don’t care that you have to be back at work and would like some lunch, they are having a great time talking to the lady sampling. I wouldn’t say I was ignored, just not helped. They did ask me if I wanted any more food added on while I waited though. Would not recommend this location.

It was a pretty busy night when my boyfriend and I went. I had ordered grilled teriyaki chicken with my 2 entrée plate, but they ran out so we had to wait for it to be cooked. That was what made our«quick» trip to Panda really long. I can’t complain about getting fresh chicken though. My only gripe was the 2 homeless men hanging out right outside of Panda. They were clearly high on something and were just freaking everyone out, especially with so many young children around the area. The poor security guard outside tried to handle the situation, but the 2 men still stayed out there. As far as food and service goes, it’s Panda Express! Somehow the food always tastes the same every single time over the years. And service is always the same — nothing too extravagant nor unpleasant.

After returning from Tx, came in for a quick bite to eat and half the food trays were empty. While my family and I were eating a panhandler came in & asking patrons for money & not one employee asked him to leave, they just acted as if he were invisible.

When I went they were very nice, but all my food was kind of old tasting! I think they need to make sure that the food is fresh when they serve it. Also, it’s by an area where a lot of wanderers hangout. When I was walking in a man came up and said, ‘Excuse me miss, what time is it?” I had my nephew with me and my hands full, so I didn’t want to dig around in my purse, also had an odd feeling about him and so I just said, «I’m not sure what time it is, but I’m sure they will know if you ask them.» As I gestured to the people behind the counter. Then he raised his wrist and looked at his watch and told me, «Oh, it’s 730pm». I think he realized what he had done because in the next moment, he said, «Oh, that was weird, huh? What just happened there. That’s never happened to me before.» I just nodded and scooted my nephew into the restaurant. Be careful guys. I feel like that guy targeted me, but luckily I was smarter than him.

I usually love Panda Express, but the last two times I have gone here I have been disappointed. Though the staff are always friendly and attentive, the food was lacking. The steamed rice was undercooked and the orange chicken didn’t have the usual good taste. It was also slightly cold. I did bring this to the attention of the manager on duty and they replaced my food. She apologized and gave me my money back. Although the food did disappoint, the service did not. There was no problem with the staff at all. The second round of food did taste better. I am a little skittish on going back, but I do plan to go back and give them another chance. The professionalism of the staff is why I will give them another go.

Honestly, I don’t know what people expect coming to a Panda Express joint. If the food is ready when you get there and the waitress packages your food properly with all the right utensils, be happy. My experience here was just like any other fast food restaurant. Their orange chicken and walnut shrimp are amazing as always and the portions are great given the price. Although I do feel a little groggy afterwards, I obviously can’t blame them for my bad choices in entrée selection.

I wasn’t going to review this, but something about an awful experience makes me do it. I will never go to this location again. The manager had to be called to confront a group of punks. One of them left a skateboard against the case where you order your food. I was engaged in conversation(ordering), when the skateboard was placed, so of course, I tripped and almost fell. Had I fallen, it could’ve gotten ugly. So I asked the manager for her help. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA what a joke of a manager. She did absolutely NOTHING, while I gave the ‘boys’ a lecture. Do you want to frequent a place that doesn’t care about your safety? No. The boys were provoking us. And management was non-existent. Food is just okay, definitely not my first choice.

This panda was just as I expected. The food was cooked well, it was served fast, and tasted just like I wanted! None of the standard fare was out, so this was good to see that there was enough food available. It’s not so good when the orange chicken runs out at a place like this! The only reason I’m not giving it a full 5 stars is there was a key for the restrooms. Granted this place is near the trolley station but many people were waiting for the restroom when there was no sign by the door saying to get a key from the counter. Poor folks waiting! Good food:

Conveniently located a huge plus for me. Add in their new Orange Chicken with BACON and I am SOLD! If you haven’t tried this new dish, I would stop waiting and give it a try. A friend from Hawaii told me about this and I had to try it. Just sayin that I tried the Shitake Kale Chicken and ummm yeah the BACONWINS! I hope they keep this on the menu for a long time. :-) The staff here is friendly and very patient. I have seen a long line of hungry people, yet the staff stays calm and Panda’s on. I like this location also because it has seating indoors and outdoors. The interior of the store is clean and so are their restrooms.
