Best Chinese food in San Diego so far! I’ve been here 3 times and still think the same! Never disappointed! I love love Chinese food and it’s hard to find amazing Chinese food here! Thank you very much!!! I just picked it up Togo and beautifully fresh and tasty and hot!!! A must in San Diego! Don’t judge the décor, it’s the food!!! Not pricey either! also if your a veggie lover a must try!!!

I bought two entrees tonight because we are staying at a nearby hotel. For $ 19 I got Kung pao chicken and generals chicken with a side of rice and a side of chow mien. This is definitely a take out kind of place. The older woman who took my order was very polite and nice, but two of my items were not very good. The generals chicken didn’t taste very fresh and the chow mien noodles had a funny after taste. The Kung pao chicken was very good. It was just spicy enough and had lots of fresh veggies. Not sure if I would go back.

Great food. Not the best interior but beautiful service. So yummy that we will be back there tomorrow. Would be nice to have them open one on the corner of Westminster & Springdale in Huntington Beach/Westminster. Healthy and Fresh. Anyone who wants to advise me on good Chinese in HB feel free.

Fast food Chinese food as expected. Prices were decent. Portions were huge I will give them that. Be sure to order rice with your meal OR get the«rice bowl» combo as the regular meals are only the main dish and do not automatically come with rice. Kung Pao chicken was good and the General’s chicken too. Husband picked up the food to-go so I cannot comment on the dine-in area.

I have to say that I was really looking forward to good Chinese food but when I got the food I admit that I was not a little disappointed. I ordered chicken and broccoli, but it was nothing more than thin slices of chicken, broccoli, and broth. BROTH!!! Beef Lomein was average, and the wonton soup had only two won tons broth and vegetables. VEGETABLES!!! What happened to the meat? We asked for fried dumplings but they don’t make it. Dinner turned out to be a frustrating fiasco.

Full blown hole in the wall Chinese joint, so you know it’s going to be good. Very friendly lady behind the counter. She was a sweetheart. The orange chicken and beef and broccoli was on point, but that friend rice was to die for. If you’re looking for some good, authentic Chinese food, this is the place.

We ate here twice while on vacation. Very reasonable prices and delicious! Plus, the staff was extremely friendly and gracious. We will definitely go again next time we’re in town.

The Hot n Sour soup was amazing. Really enjoyed it. We tried Cashew Chicken and Mongolian Beef, pretty flavorful comfort food. Very reasonable prices. This place is set up more for take out.

Serviceable Chinese food. It’s the closest Chinese food if you work near the pt Loma light house. Literally A mom and pop Chinese food that reminds me of my parents and their restaurant. You’ll hear Chinese spoken here quite a bit and it’s cute the chatter between the couple. You have to support places like this. It brings a tear to my eye as I am reminded of my parent toiling over their restaurant on their feet all day sweating in a hot kitchen for 10 hours a day, everyday. I don’t come during the lunch rush. Order the stir fry noodles. You’ll get lots of veggies and it’s the same price if you get shrimp, chicken or beef or all 3. You don’t come here for the ambience. You come here when you need that stir fry Chinese noodle fix and you don’t have a lot of time. By the way, if you ask for spicy, they’ll throw in the dry spicy red chili pepper for you. Beware! It will be hot so you better have that can of coke ready.

I love this place! It’s hard to find delicious(what I was used to in the midwest) chinese around here, but this place hits the mark! I went months looking around for a great tasting General Tso’s Chicken, and it was right under my nose all along! Super friendly owners too, and you can see the pride they have in their dishes! See you next time PC Chinese!!!

Simple place, nice people, and good food at good price. I go here often, and it has always been good. A great option for take out if you’re in the area.

Worst Chinese I have ever eaten. Got take-out for 2, and we both felt sick and threw most of it away. I wanted to believe that they were lazy one night and served us leftovers, but a friend ate there later and confirmed it is awful. The place looks unclean, as well. Do not eat here!

My boyfriend ate here today. He got spicy orange chicken, rice, noodles and egg rolls and immediately got sick with the whole nine yards of food poisoning. You were warned.

Super cheap and super delicious. The lady upfront is so nice! Food is not over seasoned/salted as other chinese food places are. Very quick and food was delicious. Will be coming here again!

After all of my favorite Chinese restaurants have been closed and tore down to make more condos(Mandarin House, China Camp), I am glad Pacific Coast is still here. If you come for the lunch specials be sure to come early or your favorites will be gone and you will have only the standard Orange chicken. I really like the authentic beef and potato, the spicy orange chicken, egg foo young, and all the soups. If you get the chance, give this place a try!

Here from out of town looking for something quick and easy. Hole in the wall it is… however it is typically a fast order Chinese. Not only did I hear them cooking our order fresh but the owner even stopped us from over ordering resulting in a perfect little quick order that I have experienced and paid for way worse else where. Thumbs up!

I have found Pacific Coast Chinese Food to be the best take-out Chinese in the Point Loma area. If you feel otherwise, please send me a private message with your recommendation and I will most certainly give them a shot – but until then, it’s Pacific Coast. PC is a hole-in-the-wall restaurant with a terrible parking lot with tiny parking spaces but it is SO worth it. You might be tempted by the lively Thai place a few doors down, but you can call in a take-out order here and it’ll be bagged and ready within 10 minutes. When you arrive, the sweet lady who runs the place with her husband will open up each to-go box and show you the prepared food before placing it back in the bag. This shows how much pride they take in their take-out and presentation, and the love really comes through in the taste. Especially in the General’s Chicken or the Vegetable Chow Mein.

My boyfriend and I found this place during our first week in town and decided to try it out. It’s tiny hole-in-the-wall place with minimal décor and where you order at the counter. It might be a husband wife team(not completely sure) and the guy made our food to order immediately. I ordered the 3 flavor Chow Mein with beef, shrimp and chicken. I can always tell a great chef by how they clean their shrimp because I’m slightly allergic. This shrimp was not only cooked perfectly but it was cleaned properly too(major plus points in my book). The dish came with an abundance of fresh veggies, the noodles were al dente and there was really tasty soy based sauce on it. Heavenly. Faraaz ordered the 3 flavor Kung Pao with chicken, beef and shrimp which came with a peppery twist that I’ve never had in typical Kung Pao. It wasn’t as flamingly-spicy like he prefers it, but it was great for me! We went back this weekend to get takeout and were thrilled with the packaging – nothing spilled! Best Chinese food we’ve found in Point Loma/OB yet :)
