I had to tow my car this week and I have to spread the word my experience with Wyatt was EXCEPTIONAL! He was extremely courteous, polite, helpful, and he went out of his way to help me take a devise off my car before towing. Being a women I was unable to screw the bolts off. With a smile and dash to his cab Wyatt saved the day. I rode with him to the shop. He made sure I was safe entering the cab due to the steps and height and he turned up the heat so I could ride comfortably. He asked me if I had everything and was ready to go… phenomenal service!!! When you need a tow it is a stressful situation that you are dealing with and Wyatt at Pacific Autow Center turned my stress into a positive experience.
If I ever have to use a tow company again I know who to call! A tow truck company with phenomenal customer service! THANK YOU!!!

Came home from work and my BMW literally exploded oil everywhere. I called AAA for a tow and luckily got Pacific Autow Center. Kenny was the driver — he was kind, funny and totally went above and beyond. Thank you Kenny and Pacific Autow

I got a call around 5 am from my father alerting me that he had left his keys in his vehicle. I called Pacific Autow Center and was given my wait time.
Juan H (Romeo) showed up within the given time and was very helpful.
He even went far beyond and gave me a call to alert me that he had helped my dad and that the issue was resolved.
I was very worried that my dad, being stranded and with his keys locked inside his car, wouldn’t have been able to get assistance. But thanks to Pacific Autow Center, this nightmare was soon over.

My wife and daughter were rear ended by a white Toyota on 8 Jan, on Pomerado Road just north of the hospital in the north bound lanes by the Good Will. My daughter was rushed by ambulance to the hospital. While on scene I started to call AAA when a Pacific Autow Center tow truck pulled up with AAA emblazoned across the vehicle. I hung up, approached the driver and handed him my AAA card information and asked him if he could take the information off the card and make arrangements for my vehicle to be towed to my home in Sabre Springs (about 4 miles). I am assuming the police called in the tow for the white Toyota that rear ended ours, which was obviously not drive-​able.
The Pacific Autow Center driver said sure, but recommended that since we were obviously not at fault that we should have our vehicle towed to Poway Tow Pros. He said that he had been towing for 18 years and that this was a no brainer because all the costs would be paid for by the other driver’s insurance company. Since I was in a rush to get to the hospital I disregarded the guidance from my USAA insurance agent and agreed to the tow.
What the driver SHOULD HAVE RECOMMENDED, is that I call in my service call to AAA and that he could not handle that.
Later that day my USAA insurance agent recommended again that the vehicle not be towed to the tow yard. When I initially called the yard I was told that I was going to be charged for the tow of both vehicles, including the Toyota that rear ended me if I wanted to get my vehicle off the lot ($ 400 + storage + late fees). After further discussion they agreed that I would only be responsible for the tow and storage costs on my own vehicle. On Friday evening I made arrangements through AAA to have my vehicle towed from Poway Tow Pros to my home. When I arrived the tow lot was closed in Poway and arrangements to open the lot and tow my vehicle had to be made through another office. During the course of this transaction the price fluctuated between $ 290 and $ 350 and finally settled on a price of $ 250.
Note that the Pacific Autow Center web site does state that a tow will cost only $ 65 within 5 miles! This is emblazoned across their web site. However, this only applies if your vehicle is broke down. Additionally, if your vehicle is ever towed to Poway Tow Pros by CHP, or city/​county Sheriff the cost of the tow is $ 200 PER HOUR with storage fees of $ 50/​day.
Just because you the other party is going to have to pay exorbitant tow and storage fees does not make what Pacific Autow Center did right. Towing my vehicle to my home would have been covered by AAA with no storage fees whatsoever. I believe that every company has the right to make money, but taking advantage of a situation like this is not the right way to (1) treat customers, nor is it the right way to make money.
If you are a AAA member and need a tow, make sure that when you call that you tell the AAA operator that you DO NOT WANT to use Pacific Autow Center or Poway Tow Pros for your service. Ask for another company.

Wonderful service by Juan H (Romeo) tonight. Was punctual with the eta he gave us. Very knowledgeable, cheerful, and polite. Answered all our worried questions and set us at ease.

Thomas is currently helping us with our battery problem and he is quite amazing! His customer service is incredible and is making this process very enjoyable and not so frustrating!

After a pot hole/​train track left me with a flat tire I called AAA. Pacific Autow Center was dispatched and John Sharpe came to my rescue. John arrived in a flatbed truck. Upon arrival he greeted me with a smile (which u need when u have a flat tire) and proceeded to get me the heck outta there. I was then towed to the tire repair center of my choice. Thank you Pacific Autow Center for sending out John to save the day!

Charged $ 65 installation fee to replace AAA battery, even though the guy admitted it would take less than 15 minutes. AAA replacement battery was under warranty and «free».

On ¹⁰⁄₂₆ I called AAA to have someone come out and run a test on my battery in my 2005 Mercedes Benz and to see if I needed to have it replaced, since I had a dead battery that morning and I didn’t want to run the risk of my car dying the next morning.
AAA was able to send a young gentlemen out from Pacific Autow named Johnnie. Johnnie ran the assessment on my car and advised that I needed to swap the battery. *note that this was still the original battery that came with the car*
When the battery was being replaced johnnie accidentally dropped some equipment on to my radiator causing the radiator hose to break off. Johnnie finished my battery replacement and managed to reattach my radiator hose in the meantime until he could notify his manager about the damage.
On ¹⁰⁄₂₇ at exactly 8 am I received a call from John Sharp, the manager, advising me that he would be sending a tow truck and personally be picking up my car and have the car fixed. He kept me updated when he picked it up and notified me of when they got the parts from Mercedes.
Even when I called the shop to check on the status, Jessica was able to get me feedback right away.
I had my car returned to me by Sean, the company’s driver manager on the 28^th… they didn’t drive it back but receivers my car on the flatbed. Sean showed me what they did for repairs and topped off my coolant in the car.
I seriously have never received the type of care for my car from any dealer or specialized shop
as I have with this tow company. They take the cake with their service. Thank you guys!

Romeo was AMAZING! I’ve had many experience with AAA but never ever had such pleasant encounter! My key was locked inside the car while the engine was ON. It was almost 10pm! I was desperate thinking I’m doomed while I called AAA. And Gee! Miracle happened! Romeo came to save in like NO TIME! I mean, literally FIVE MINUTES after I called! I was shocked when his truck showed up! It took him 10 seconds to unlock my car and saved my ass! Thank you Romeo, you are the BEST!

Wes is super awesome!!! My car auto locked with my son inside!!! With his quick response my son was out and forgot about the whole incident!!!

I want to give a shout out to Johnny, who rescued me one night when the tread starting ripping off of one of my tires. AAA dispatched Johnny to me, and he arrived within 15 minutes of my call. He went out of his way to make me feel safe and well informed as he was replacing the tire. He changed the tire quickly, and offered to inspect the rest of the tires. This turned out to be really helpful because he found a small nail in another tire that would have caused a slow leak. Johnny’s super friendly composure with someone who was clearly in a stressful situation resulted in me driving away with an extremely favorable impression of Pacific Autow Center.

When my car needed to be towed from the airport, Juan did an amazing job. You could tell he’s an expert at what he does — fast, efficient, and friendly. On top of that he took a look under the hood and gave me a guess as to the problem, potential cost, and tips for dealing with claims, etc. He also had a mechanic friend of his come look at my car for a free estimate a few days later. Above and beyond service.

My new car had broken down in the middle of the street (a whole different story). I had a daughter with an injury who I was trying to get to the Dr. and my other daughter was in the hospital in labor. They quickly got us to the Ford dealership where we got a rental and we were on our way. Without them I may not have made it. I had an hour to spare, stressed to the max with an injured daughter and one in labor. A baby girl 8 lbs. 3 ounces, was born a about an hour later.
They gave us great advice regarding my daughter’s accident the night before on what to do at the tow yard, and stayed with us until we got the rental car. It all became a blur after a while, they made sure we were both ok.
Both were gentlemen, I highly recommend these two caring men.
Ask for Sean and Ty, you wont be disappointed!

They are by far and away the best tow company in SoCal. I had a very difficult tow today and the driver Al stuck with it and got it done! They came highly recommended from my car club and now I know why!!!

So my car broke down on the freeway, conveniently where the shoulder was blocked off due to construction. I had just gotten off of work and it was around 2 am. A coworker of mine stopped by and was going to attempt to jump it for me, but being in the far right lane with oncoming traffic was not an ideal place to turn a car around to jump another.
When he arrived, I was on the phone with my insurer, State Farm. I was on hold for 11 minutes before my call was directed to a representative. The rep was nice and thorough in checking my info, and advised me that I would receive an automated call regarding the tow company’s ETA. A few minutes later I received that call stating that it would be about 45 – 50 minutes before they arrived. Crap.
My coworker, who happened to be a Triple A member, called for his road side assistance and the customer service rep stated it would be about 30 minutes or less — cool, let’s see who would get there quicker!
While we waited, CHP (California Highway Patrol) arrived and helped us to push my car to the next exit since my car was blocking the far righthand lane. As soon as we exited, the officer informed us that the tow truck company for Triple A would be aware of the move to the next exit, and sure enough as soon as they pulled away, Juan Hernandez, Mr. Pacific Autow showed up! It took him just about 10 minutes to arrive to our location (move and all), and he was awesome from the get-​go.
Prior to his arrival (when CHP was still there checking my lp and all), I called State Farm back and informed them that I no longer needed their assistance since their contractors still hadn’t shown up or called. I was put on hold, yet again. I hung up after 4 minutes on hold because, hey, I already told the guy everything he needed to know: cancel the tow en route and I’m sorry for any inconvenience.
Anyway, Juan was well-​informed and is basically the definition of great customer service in his field. I’ve never experienced customer service through a towing company as great as this! He informed me of all of the things that may have to be checked since it wasn’t just a battery jump issue, and as we drove away, I received not one, but 2 separate calls from 2 separate tow truck drivers inquiring about my car and they were called by state farm, so I told both of them, again, that I called state farm to cancel the roadside order because they took too long and triple A was much quicker and the tow truck had already picked me up. Needless to say I caught mad attitude from BOTH of these dudes (pretty sure it was ASAP towing).
So there I was, saved by Mr. Juan, and he was just an all around nice guy. Great customer service. Thanks again, Juan! And thanks Triple A for not being a shitty company! :) Getting their roadside assistance membership asap, and dropping that shit from my policy with state farm. Yay!

First, let me say I could NEVER have imagined writing a Unilocal review for a towing service. And then along came Pacific Autow by way of AAA.
I woke up on Tuesday morning and my car wouldn’t start. I knew it was more than the battery as there had been signs of some kind of an electrical short in the days prior which I had ridiculously hoped would mysteriously solve itself. I called AAA quite upset as to the unplanned course my day was now taking.
Within 15 minutes, Pacific Autow arrives. Driver Hooman gets out and can obviously see I’m very anxious and stressed. He greets me kindly and assures me he can help. Within a matter of probably less than 5 minutes Hooman sees the battery is dead and is the first tow truck driver I’ve ever met who knew within another 2 minutes how to access the BMW battery via the trunk without asking me a single question.
Hooman was so courteous, calm, professional and assuring throughout the process. He also went above and beyond to give me some suggestions (along with a card to a local AAA approved auto repair shop that I could drive to for free assistance if the charge didn’t hold longer than my next stop.
He was done within 10 – 15 minutes; I was so grateful for his demeanor, knowledge, and helpful attitude, I actually gave him a hug. Thanks Hooman for being a bright spot on what started out to be an otherwise upsetting wake up call. The car has since been repaired (the electrical was submerged in 6 inches of water, don’t ask) and I can only hope that I get Pacific Autow Center again should I ever need to call AAA. Thanks, Hooman!

It is never fun to go grocery shopping and come back to a car that would not start, especially on a hot Sunday afternoon. The anxiety and stress level escalates! Thankfully AAA has us covered and immediately scheduled Roadside Assistance to save the day!
Initially it was suspected that our car battery died, but the first Roadside Assistance driver tested that our battery was fine. He later called a second driver, who came to our location within 15 minutes. A big shoutout to Ricardo Robles for taking care of us, towing our car back to our home, and even taking extra time and asking our permission to troubleshoot the root cause of the problem. It wasn’t the battery, but the starter.
Big thanks to AAA and Pacific Autow Center for taking care of us, and making what was a frustrating day into and less stressful day! Keep up the great work and awesome customer service.
