Osteo Relief Institute

I’ve been going to this center for a few years now. I’ve had these injections from Kaiser & Scripp doctors who inject blindly and it’s hit or miss as to whether I received any relief… usually miss. I’ve received injections from Dr. Weinstein for a couple of years and have gotten great results, I wish he was still there.
I understand the comments made by others regarding the center seems shady because of how they answer the phone «doctors office» or their website, it made me question them too, however the bottom line is I do get relief and they are very professional. The only problem I’ve ever had with the Osteo Relief Institute is getting call backs from the office staff, not the doctors. Maybe they need more office staff or the person in charge of calling patients back needs to do a better job because it does make the business as a hole look unprofessional.
I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5 only because of the poor follow through with the phone calls from the scheduler.

I’m a «return» patient. The doctors and staff take their time to explain everything to you. I have noticed if you can’t pay for a treatment, they are wonderful about working it out with you to come up with a plan to make your treatment affordable.
I have osteoarthritis throughout my back and knees. I’ve been to several other pain clinics in San Diego. This place is by far the best out of everything I’ve tried in San Diego. It’s well worth going over there in at least talking to the doctors and staff about what they can do for you!

I was really impressed with the level of care I received from the staff here, the PA was funny and kind which made me more comfortable (I usually loath Doctors offices) the clinic is really nice (upscale & pretty snazzy lol) which was nice as well. I didn’t have a long wait time which was already a big plus, it’s not too rushed but not too long, they really seem to have a sort of rhythm here or just good team work.
The doctor was pretty nice, very informative, and was able to explain the procedures to a point where I understood them but didn’t feel insulted either, so the «bedside manner» so-​to-​say was spot on.
Overall I’m feeling great, and have noticed lasting results and improvements that have allowed me to return to my work-​out regimen, which in turn has helped to improve my overall health! that’s always a plus :) Great investment and I highly recommend.

I am a registered nurse and triathlete. I would not go to this place especially if you care about your credit or attaining the right type of treatment for your joints. As mentioned in a previous review, these people in the office are clueless and the injections did nothing but cause more stiffness and pain. I got a call today from a collections agency, 3 years after my date of service stating that I owed them $ 2250 for unpaid injections. My insurance was supposed to be picking up 70% of these injections and I had paid my deductibles each visit. I never received any notices in three years of past due bills or any phone calls (my address did change but my phone number never did). I was never called or notified that my insurance did not pick up any of the said charges nor was I called. After talking to them today, three years after the fact, I realize they still have no clue what was going on and could not tell me if my insurance ever picked up any of the injections. How can they be so careless when it comes to someone’s credit? I am more than willing to pay what is due but they cannot even tell me if my insurance covered anything or if they did not cover it then why not. Also, the credit collections agency lady that they hired to collect my debt hung up on me mid-​sentence to answer another call? HOW FREAKING PROFESSIONAL IS THAT? Classy place of business I tell you!

Been in pain for almost a month and still no relief, diagnosis or treatment.
Dr. Weinstein is the doctor I saw, he seemed nice enough, but not as knowledgable as I would hope. He consulted with another doctor about my injury.
I believe I pulled my hamstring and came here for a diagnosis and treatment.
At my appointment he only speculated it was possible.
After another 9 days of being in severe pain, I came back and he gave me some pain meds and ordered and MRI. I was so happy to finally get some answers!
Unbelievably, it has been over a week since he received the results and he has not contacted me to let me know the results. The Imagining Service said most doctors call within 24 – 48. It has been 8 days and I have received nothing.
After a week I called to make sure they had my correct number.
She said he would call me that day but he didn’t.
Called again and still nothing. Nora, who answered both of my calls was of no help,
uncaring or accommodating. I felt like I was bothering her and the doctor.
It’s unconscionable, a doctor would not call a patient and give them a diagnosis and a treatment option or plan.
So unprofessional. I would never recommend Osteo Relief.
