The doctor here changes (I think), I’ve only been here once. I got a lady doctor who was great. She answered all of my questions and I got my prescription quickly.
The staff in the front also helped me pick out a frame that looks good on me. I did feel kind of ripped off afterwards when I found the frame to be much cheaper online, that is, 60% of what I paid at Optom-​Eyes.

Super friendly staff! I came in today for an eye exam. I have come in here before to get my sunglasses tightened and the staff is really nice. Very clean place with new equipment. Affordable and you can get an appointment fast! All around great place.

Their staff is very professional and helpful. Their location is very convenient for me, I live less than 5 minutes away. I’ve seen two Optometrists here and both have been very kind and helpful. They listen to what my concerns are and always address them.
Their pricing is affordable. I’ve gone to different eye care centers before I found Optom-​Eyes Vision Care, and their affordability has been the best. It also helps that they accept my insurance. Making appointments have been super easy. I can usually get in within the next day or two. When I arrive, my wait time isn’t very long. Less than 5 minutes max.
I’ve been a regular client and I always plan on returning. I would recommend this place if you’re searching for a new optometrist!

Very professional and helpful from the start to end. I was a first time patient/​client. Made an appointment. Got my eyes examined. Also looked for glasses. They are at a convenient location and convenient hours. I was very satisfied. I did not feel pressure to getting my glasses there. I will defiantly go back. Thank you!

Staff were very nice and friendly. Optometrist (although i dont remember her name) was very friendly and easy to talk to. I went in for a same day eye exam appointment and new frames, they called me the next day and told me my new glasses were ready to be picked up. Great.

Very impressed with the staff and office in general. The eye exam was quick and painless. No wait at all. New equipment (at least from what I recognize from my old doctor) A huge selection of glasses/​designer brands to chose from. Great customer service and the opticians are friendly and knowledgable. They have great frames – Tom Ford, Oliver Peoples, Burberry, as well as the ubiquitous Ray Bans. They also have great sales sometimes. Drs are equally professional and caring.

Pleasantly surprised. I knew of this place by frequenting the shops surrounding it. I hadn’t had an optometrist visit to check my eyes in a while until my eye-​site began to bother me. I thought I needed a new prescription. They were able to get me in for an appointment pretty quickly. The customer service was excellent and the doctors visit was fast, painless and efficient. Turned out my prescription for my previous eye-​wear was a little too strong and the eye-​wear was for driving at night and not for computer and reading use which is why I had migraines, tired eyes and vision problems. They have a wide variety of eye-​wear to select from and they offer personal service. I had called lenscrafters to check on a set of eye-​wear that I had seen online. I wanted to try them on before I ordered. When I called the mission valley location they mentioned that they were overwhelmed with patients and couldn’t help me over the phone at the moment, they took my phone number and mentioned they would call me. I never got a call back from them. Anyhow I was able to try on the eyewear that I had been looking for but I ended up going with a model that Optom-​Eyes had in stock. They processed my order and I had my glasses on hand within 24 hours. It was fast, customer service was great. I am very pleased and would highly recommend. :)

I went for a fitting for my contacts today and the lady is SUPPOSE to help you out. Right? It’s a fitting. So the lady is busy doing her own thing in the back and my mom is helping put my contacts in, when the lady is suppose to help you. Very bad quality service and please do not even consider this place. Unless they have convinced me into believing they will change

I am very pleased with my appointment today. Dr. Lin was upfront about everything including cost. He is very reasonably priced I might add. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. He gives his opinion and great evidence to support his claims while talking about what manufactures recommend versus reality. I am referring both of my parents to his practice for exams.

They close early when they feel like it. And I quote «it was a crazy day with customers and if we waited to close at 5:30 we would be here longer»… Ummm excuse me! Lol What a joke. And they always mess up my order. Next year I’m going over to Costco. Don’t come here, the front desk girls can tend to talk down to you. Not to be rude but I did purchase 400 dollar seeing glasses from you guys, so no need to talk down to me as if I’m beneath you! Go elsewhere is my opinion.

The doctor was great really friendly. My experience was not good however. I got my prescription picked out glasses and paid. Finally picked them up with no problems until about 3 – 4 hours later one of the employees calls asking for my credit card number so I could pay an extra 100 dollars. I declined and went there in person and explained to them I would not have purchased the glasses if I knew they were 100 dollars more. So they take them back and say they will make new lenses. Overall extremely unprofessional if you ask me. It was their mistake they should own it. I will not be returning which is a shame because I really did like the doctor.

The staff was friendly and professional, and everything seemed really efficient. My previous optometrist didn’t have any of the new technology that Dr. Lin had, so the whole process was fast and simple! I’m really pleased with how Dr. Lin took the time to explain everything to me in words anyone could understand, and he made sure all of my questions were answered.
I ended up picking out my frames at their new Fashion Valley location (which was very nice btw) and the staff over there was great and very helpful. I can’t remember her name, but one of the ladies over there helped me find my perfect frames based on what I told her I liked, and I’m happy with my new glasses!
I’ll definitely be back for any future eye care needs and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great optometrist who really cares about his patients.

Five years ago I was diagnosed with Keratoconus in my left eye and my eye was always blurry. I have been to at least 6 different doctors with in that time and they weren’t able to correct it.
When I came to see Dr. Henry Lin, he knew exactly how to treat my eye and was able to correct it within minutes when other doctors has spent hours. This doctor really knows what he is doing and he is always up to date on the latest research and technology.
Lastly, the service is very friendly. They were able to work with me and my insurance. They have the attitude that the patient comes first.
I left the office with so much joy because I can now see again comfortably for the first time in 5 years, I even called my mom and my girlfriend telling them how excited and happy I was. They were glad that I actually found a really good doctor for once. I highly recommend coming here for your Vision Care.

Update: I initially gave this optometrist a great review but over time, I have never been called back for a check up and have felt neglected from this Optometrist. We never had a solution for my problem. The contacts that were given kept hurting after 3 visits of changing my contacts. In the end never use them anymore. Stuck using glasses and my left eye is not corrected.

It took months for me to find a reputable Eye Specialist but with the help of Zoo Doc
and Optom-​Eyes Vision Care, in Mission Valley. I was able to locate a well-​reviewed
Optometrist with a solid education and background that meet all of my health insurance
medical coverage requirements. After qualifying for coverage with my health insurance, I was scheduled
On-​line, checked in online and in and out of there in less than 1 hour, which by the way included my eye examination, fitted with new frames and optics? They had to order the pre-​selected specs but it arrived in less than a week of ordering it. I even enjoyed a nice cup of Hot java flavored coffee while I waited for the doctor, which by the way was only 10 minutes. I would recommend the office to all my family and friends in need of an excellent Eye Specialist.

I used to go to Lenscrafters for years. And they were good for those years…
Then I came here. Talk about an upgrade. Dr. Henry Lim is a prime example that you don’t need a fancy office to prove you know what you are doing. This place is very small, but it gets the job done. Everyone is super friendly there.
The optometrist goes into detail to why your eyes are at the level they are at now, how to improve them (if needed) and what to expect later in life. He is very thorough and takes his time to make sure all questions are answered.
I can’t go anywhere else. I live in national city and refuse to settle for another optometrist.
I have VSP insurance, so anyone else looking for a good doctor for your insurance plan, THIS IS THE PLACE!

Convenient parking in an upscale shopping center makes it easy to get in out of your appointment. once in the clinic your surrounded by beautiful interior design, large flat screen TV playing Pandora, and state of the art Ophthalmic/​Optical equipment. I saw Dr Henry Lin OD who is a young charismatic, intelligent optometrist who is both personable and listens to your eye related needs. Refreshing energy, in a crazy rushed world. There is usually not much to get excited about when it comes to visiting the doctor, dentist, etc. Therefore, when a visit is exceptional, it is worth mentioning.
I was overdue for an eye exam to get more contacts. I happened to chance by this office on my way to Einstein bagels next door. What caught my eye initially was the Chanel window display. As I entered, with a bagel in my mouth, I was greeted by a very friendly staff member. She was inquisitive, but not pushy. I informed her I was just window shopping but was considering renewing my contacts. A few more questions later about whether I had vision insurance (I replied «no»), health saving account, medical insurance (I had aetna) she proceeded to open the display cases and informed me to freely try on glasses while she do some research for me.
A few minutes later she cheerfully said, great news, you have vision insurance and we are providers for your insurance! Now, keep in mind I have been a patient at Dr. Slikker’s office down the street at Costco for as long as I remember, dishing out my credit card each and every time. The lady she has there, Georgina is her name I think, while not rude, hardly ever have a smile on her face. Not once has she ever offered to look into my insurance for me. Here at this office, the atmosphere was completely different. It was not a box inside a warehouse. It was a REAL office! Beautiful presentation. Extremely pleasant staff. I was taken as a walk-​in. The doctor saw me promptly. He was exceptional as well. Thoroughly explained to me my eye conditions. The office was extremely high tech. Automated instrumentation everywhere, even high resolution pictures of the back of my eyes at no extra charge.
The frame choices were rediculous. There was easily over a thousand frames to choose from. Everything from designer to your basic models. I had a field day deciding between a Chanel and a Tiffany frame. Ultimately I chose the one that looked best on me (surprise! It was the Tiffany!) I walked out spending a little over $ 300 for a pair of Tiffany glasses with anti-​glare polycarbonate lenses, as well as a 6 month supply of contacts. My usual visit at Costco cost me about $ 250 for the exam, two boxes of contacts, and one pair of designer (although much less luxurious) glasses.
Bottom line is this. I value my vision. This was an extremely pleasant visit that costs a little more. However, if you ask me, it was so well worth it. I got so muh more than I usually get. Before I left I was told that there was a lab on the premise and that my glasses will be ready within a week. I received the phone call the next day that my glasses were ready for pick up. In this economy, everybody is watching their bottom line. However, some things in life, such as smiley faces, concierge level of service, extra personal touches… priceless.
