Generally food was ok. I ordered kefta kabob plate, meat was dry. The server was very courteous.

Their hummus was AMAZING… just make sure you request extra pita bread (they only give you one slice for almost 1 cup of hummus).
I could do without the beef, as it had a chalky, powdery coating to it.
Sam was awesome, but a bit douchey.

Shawarma, side of fries (albeit 15 to be exact), and drink for $ 6 is indeed a great deal. And the woman who works there is very nice, attentive, and inviting.
Unfortunately, the shawarma just didn’t stack up (to Kebab Shop) and certainly to any in NYC or Europe. The beef was grainy/​dry, the wrap tasted like a cold tortilla, and the ingredients were lackluster.
I was thinking of giving them a second try in a couple months after they’ve had some time to optimize but my colleague reminded me that «life is too short for mediocre food.» He’s right. Sorry Oasis!
